To help the DEA out, and to be more of a larger part of a department I truly like.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
I have experience being Clearance 4, yes it is quite old experience but experience nonetheless. I have had multiple roles that involve diplomacy and surface operations such as: UNGOC 1SGT,Nu-7 Specialist, Chaos Insurgency roles, etc. The knowledge from these roles can help me out when becoming a special agent.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
Roughly 5-7, The reason for it being roughly is because I revise my documents to improve them later. Most of these documents are about incidents revolving around foundation and external GOI's (Groups of interest) sometimes they are simple interviews other time they are several page reports on defection and treason. What makes them good (In my opinion) is that they detail every part of the incident to the best of MY abilities, I try to also have other people interact with these documents to ensure that the view is unbiased in some manner and why I use signatures to ensure that all parties involved understand the incident to the best of all our abilities.
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:
Crucial aspects to the DEA Special Agent position can be put down in bullet points.
1.) External Affairs is as the name suggests the Foundation's External Affairs department, so most crucial aspect (In my opinion) is to ensure that all Groups of Interest are monitored and taken care of when times come to interact with these groups, this could include negotiations, hostage retrieval through diplomatic means, etc. It could also mean involving joint operations with other groups such as contracts with MC&D for the sake of certain members of foundation, or having UNGOC sample SCP's to ensure we are in a symbiotic relationship between the organisations. This could also include groups of interest who are not set up in Pinewood and are trying to obtain something or do something that could either benefit or harm the foundation so in turn we try to find a diplomatic means first to ensure that all future incidents with these groups of interest are handled properly to some degree.
2.) The recruiting and training of new members of External Affairs, the Department of External Affairs has been lacking numbers recently as I have seen and with that the need for new members is crucial for keeping our department alive and well to ensure that the first bullet point is secured. This goal is also crucial as uneducated or poorly educated members of External Affairs could lead to a poor report for the department and possible incidents that could hurt our reputation with other GOI's. Recruiting members can be quite hard too so trying to ensure the job looks appeasing to both people who want combat and or diplomacy should be made to ensure that we can have combat capable members for the Department of External Affairs alongside those who can negotiate for the betterment of the Foundation. Overall the recruiting and training of new members of External Affairs is definitely a crucial aspect for a Special Agent.
3.) The assistance and guidance for new members of External Affairs. The Department of External Affairs can be quite a lot for a new member to handle so teaching them the basics might not be all a new member needs, fundamentals are great for inducting new members into the Department of External Affairs but the guidance and assistance part of the job is still there the assistance you can give to new member can shape the Department entirely making a new generation of External Affairs members to help usher in a golden age for the Foundation! This is a crucial aspect of the Department of External affairs is trying to assist and guide the new members into becoming great members and possibly future Special Agents or Department Directors.
4.) Handling hostile GOI's by any means. A very easy group shown to be hostile to the foundation is definitely the Chaos Insurgency, a group bent on destroying and damaging the foundation for its own personal needs. Other groups are also under this large branch but the Chaos Insurgency is the primary threat to the Foundation. Handling them could be diplomatic but in certain cases it could be through violence such as: Raiding them for important information, personnel, or hostile operation sabotage (Keycard Raid, Equipment Raid, etc.) counteracting these groups are key into ensuring the safety of Foundation personnel and Foundation goals. If a group of interest can be talked down by all means that is important to do. But if the group is unable to cooperate with the Foundation then it is best to handle them in the best outcome for the Foundation and the Department of External Affairs.
5.) The creation and usage of operations. Operations can be used in a variety of ways to benefit both the Foundation Internally and Externally and or used to assist in my opinion the primary goal of the Department of External Affairs, operations could also be used to deal with the infiltration within our ranks from external threats such as the Chaos Insurgency, or Traitors seeking to destroy the foundation from within. Operations are a good source of gathering members of the Department of External Affairs already dealing with whatever is becoming more and more important into one organised group under a operation. They are not a crucial part of the Department of External Affairs but are a great tool that special agents can use to benefit the Foundation and Department respectively.

Early Years
Joseph Sussman was born in Canada, British Columbia, Victoria on November 20th, 1988. He was an ordinary kid experiencing nothing abnormal when he was growing up. During his time within secondary education he became well versed with law and wished to become an officer, or if not an officer an attorney of some kind. When he graduated secondary education he specifically went towards his passion of being a police, during his time in the academy however he gained a fond passion of scuba diving, truly nothing wrong will happen to him, he would even have kid in the time.
Introduction Into the Dark
During his time as a police officer he would have some close calls with death, but nothing that was going to effect him in the long run, he was an expert shooter within his force so this wasn't anything that bothered him. To touch off topic he would even bring his kid on scuba trips when he got his kid certified in scuba diving at the age of 10. This choice he made would make his choices in the future get him in contact with the foundation, but so on his career would continue on like nothing happened. This would proceed to change on 18/07/████ until he went scuba diving near a reef that was off the Vancouver Island that was being overseen by the foundation. The anomaly that the Canadian officer encountered was ████████.
The Incident:
Joseph Sussman was scuba diving near SCP-2074, he was unaware of the anomalies presence at all. However, his son was totally confused. Something was disrupting his radio that his father had given him, the kid thought he broke it and ignored it until his father came back up when he was done. His father was going solo runs to see if his son could handle it without him being present as he had been multiple times before, he dived first to show his son to be brave in some manner. his father noticed the chamber and avoided it due to the vent being open and thought nothing of it. While during this time his son was just ignoring the static followed by what we can only assume was muddled voices, we are still unaware of what happened on the boat but can make some guesses.
Only an hour later after the initial actions take within the incident, joseph would send his son down with the radio set to their frequency. When his son enter the same proximity as his father, when he hit this point his father proceeded to gain a similar radio disruption, he noticed and took action immediately. He was checking if his son was still connected to the radio frequency, he heard a voice similar to his son but couldn't make it out due to the disruption. He proceeded to scream for his son to come back up as he was unaware of what was down there and what the risks of his son going where he was were. He heard a voice, and then silence. He felt relieved but still stressed. While in deep thought the radio disruption dispersed, he proceeded to ask his son how he was doing, he got a response "Fine is something wrong?" He proceeded to tell his son that a dangerous radio disruption had occurred and ended that little trip right there and then. When his son got aboard the boat he went back to the docks.

Joseph Sussman would be left alone for a bit of time, approximately 1 year from the incident. Joseph would later get into an incident with an armed suspect, they proceeded to hit joseph Sussman 3 times. He was put into critical condition, and was stabilised, when he was guaranteed to live he was met by some men that he had no clue who they were. They arrived and were there to wish him luck on his recovery, However one of the men External Affairs Special Agent ████████ ███████. This visit would lead to Joseph interacting with the Special Agent and a member of Mobile Task Force Iota-10. The two Foundation personnel talked to Joseph about the incident, he was clueless as to how they knew but more confused on why they cared. The men explained to Joseph that he interacted with something anomalous and was given documentation asking if he would like to be apart of a world that they had been keeping dark from society for longer than he could imagine, without hesitation he agreed and signed the documentation, changing his life forever. His family were heart broken when they found the news of his death only a day later.

Joseph started his career as a member of the General Security Department he spent not long before he was introduced to Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11. A call for a Epsilon-11 try out was made, and Joseph answered the call. His try out was flawless and he became a private during the time of Commander Sofics, after some time chaos would begin within the department of Epsilon-11 when Sofics would resign, and would start a large amount of commanders joining and leaving. Finally Epsilon-11 would be solidified under the command of Commander Aveyard, around the time of Commander Aveyard's rise he would become the second in command of the Epsilon-11 squadron Archangels, this would grow over time into having Joseph becoming the lead of Archangels. Joseph realising the issues that lie within the squadron these issues were brought up but none were taken seriously until Joseph was promoted to Lieutenant when he decided to make a change to the squadron all together, he would completely dissolve the lab rats and archangels squadrons and make a new one called "Valkyries" the name was created by then Captain Moon Tzu. These reforms ushered in by site administration at the time helped Joseph make the reforms he wanted to but realising that his work in Epsilon-11 was done and had no greater ambitions for the rank of MAJ+ he resigned wishing Epsilon-11 farewell. Joseph would then join Nu-7 as a private instead of being transferred as he saw it as a disrespect to transfer from Epsilon-11 to Nu-7 due to him lacking the knowledge on what the Intelligence Agency, Beta-1, and Nu-7 departments did respectively. He would later leave seeing as the regiment was not something he much cared for. His former employment as a police officer would inspire him to become a Internal affairs agent, where he would try his best to help the site but nonetheless felt powerless, he would then resign from his position and join the Department of External Affairs where he would rise the ranks quickly and become Senior Agent.
