Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?
I am applying for the role of Internal Security Inspector for a variety of reasons.
I've not been within ISD for very long at all, no. Something I regret doing is not joining ISD sooner given how much I've been able to get involved in ISD, and just how much RP you can get exposed to. I feel as if in the time I have been here, though - I've tried my absolute best. I wish to be there for utterly everyone whom may need it! I feel as if I very much already fit in; and I want to elaborate much more on why I wish to be an Inspector.
For starters, ISD is extremely welcoming, and everyone within the department work together exceptionally well. There's a huge amount of potential for RP. I feel that, if given the role, I'd be able to have a much greater impact on roleplay by helping maintain standards, supporting investigations, creating my own operations, and ensuring situations are handled fairly and professionally all with more capabilities.
Beyond that, I genuinely enjoy what ISD does. The department offers a very unique style of roleplay that requires an exceptional level of attention to detail, judgement & awareness that I feel I have the capability to put into practice. I simply wish to be able to contribute more to both roleplay and my own character development.
What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
I feel as if what makes me suitable for ISD Inspector is the fact I try maintain a calm demeanour at all times. I really do my best to be friendly & approachable while still knowing exactly when to stop and handle something in an understanding and professional manner. I never let emotions get the better of my judgement even when irritated, and I do try my best at treating everyone fairly and with respect, no matter the circumstance. I believe all of these qualities are very important to have when being an Inspector, particularly when resolving conflicts, performing necessary arrests & dealing with investigations.
What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
While most of my points towards this specific form of question are indeed stated above, I'd say what you'd want to see in an ideal Inspector is someone who can truly get to the bottom of things in a quick yet efficient manner. Someone whose always there should any Agent or Investigator be stuck/confused on anything, sharing their experience in accordance to specific scenarios, and offering help whenever necessary. They should be able to gather facts, make sensible decisions, and keep things operating smoothly. They need a clear head, exceptional behaviour, and they need to ensure public presence solely provides a great outlook towards ISD.
How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
While I haven't written any particularly major documents, during my time as an ECA and Investigator I've written plenty of documents that contribute to roleplay. These include work permits, a lot of arrest reports, internship documents, receptionist desk duty logs where visitors are recorded, and various other administrative documents. Although they may not be as significant as a major document, they've helped me become comfortable with writing in a clear and organised way.
I feel as if what would make a major document good in terms of quality are 3 different things.
Professionalism
You always want your documents to be properly punctuated and grammatically correct. Documents that lack these tend to come across as rushed or half-hearted, and from my experience, they're often taken less seriously by the people reading them.
Simplicity
Documents which get straight to the point without unnecessary filler are far more effective. Most people reading them don't want to spend time digging through paragraphs that could have been condensed into a few clear sentences. Keeping a document concise makes it easier to understand and ensures the important information stands out.
Detail
While keeping a document short & snappy is important, it should never come at the cost of leaving out important information. A good document provides enough detail to clearly explain what it is, answer any likely questions, and give the reader everything they need without overwhelming them with unnecessary text.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
The responsibilities of an Internal Security Inspector are primarily focused around maintaining the integrity & workload of ISD. An Inspector should continue serving their previous duties, obviously - such as upholding the FLC. There's a few new additions that come with the role, though.
- Internal Security Inspectors act as a proxy between other departments and ISD Commissioners, Inspectors should always be the first choice in the CoC, as cluttering Commissioners with extra problems when they could be doing much more important tasks is entirely pointless & inefficient.
- Inspectors are also the primary spearhead of operations. They create operations, and review responses for operations.
- Inspectors have the responsibility of inducting new Agents & Operatives, properly training them to ensure they have the information necessary to carry out their duties as a newly trained ISD member.
- And lastly, Inspectors should ensure that they themselves are the best possible example for both people outside & inside ISD. They should act as an example for agents while ensuring other departments can look towards ISD as a proper policing department.
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
Throughout my time as an ECA, I have gained experience working alongside others, handling roleplay situations, and assisting people when they require guidance. I believe a good leader is not someone who simply orders people around, but also someone who is willing to support their team, answer questions and most of all simply just get out there. Get involved & contribute towards roleplay.
While I have only held one Jr. CL4 role previously, I feel as if this opportunity would allow me to further develop my leadership skills and properly prove myself in a position with more responsibility. I understand that a leadership role comes with additional expectations and pressure, but I believe this is an opportunity to challenge myself while continuing to contribute positively to ISD.
I feel as if my character can most definitely bring a breath of fresh air to ISD leadership, providing new roleplay potential between Marley and anyone who wishes to interact with him regardless of ranking!
Lastly, I simply want to be there for others whom may need guidance. I've been confused before, and if it weren't for the other amazing people of the ISD department I'd likely have been briefly stuck on certain things.

The Human Resources Director of Site-██ sat quietly at his desk, a mug of coffee in hand as he reviewed footage from the Ontario City Surveillance Network. His eyes remained fixed on the screen, carefully following the movements of the individual displayed before him.
"Yeah, I was looking into him earlier. Definitely stands out."
A voice spoke from across the room. The Director did not respond immediately, his attention remaining on the footage.
After a moment, he set the now-empty mug down onto his desk and turned slightly towards his deputy.
"Pull up his file, please."

Growing up, Scott held a long-standing aspiration of becoming a law enforcement officer, motivated by a desire to protect those around him and contribute positively to his his own (albeit small) town within the city of Toronto.
After completing his education, Scott pursued a career within local law enforcement, gradually progressing through the ranks due to his dedication, discipline, and ability to remain calm during intense, dangerous and pressuring situations. Throughout his career, he gained extensive experience managing personnel, coordinating operations, and maintaining order within the community he served.
Eventually, Scott achieved the position of Deputy Chief within the local police department. Despite his seniority, he remained heavily involved with his officers, preferring to lead through example rather than authority solely by itself. There's plenty footage of him visibly risking his life in order to ensure he is properly spearheading raids & arrests. He seemingly goes above and beyond for his fellow officers.
His record and leadership qualities eventually drew the attention of Foundation personnel, who identified Scott as a potential candidate for recruitment. While unaware of the Foundation's true nature, Scott's experience in leadership, crisis management, and public service made him a valuable prospect for future employment. He was eventually inducted as an Agent; quickly gaining the rank of Investigator.
