Through my roles in External Affairs, I developed skills in problem-solving, neutral negotiation, and interpersonal relations - all assets for this position. For example, as a Private in Nu-7 I learned efficient communication and project coordination through hands-on experience.
As a DEA agent, I covertly negotiated peace talks between hostile cells, discreetly sharing intel to pave common ground.
Though unrecognized, enabling missions to progress seamlessly and discretely.
As a member of Internal Affairs, I was wary of compromising impartiality, I demonstrated discretion, and cared for documentation through sensitive investigations. Maintaining neutrality and protecting confidential information is paramount in the Assistant role.

One of the most important purposes of being an Overseer Assistant is to be an ambassador to the O5 and Site-Command, communicating between the O5 council and the site to relay the site status.
The most important task that the Overseer Assistants do is assist the O5 council with every task they require to be completed. While under direct order of the Overseer Council, the Overseer Assistant is elevated to the highest Clearance Level 4 on site.
One such example of a task that the Overseer Assistant would be tasked with doing, is investigating a department if they are suspected of violating the Foundation Legal Codex.
Maintaining healthy communication procedures between different MTF divisions is essential for the health of the site. Overseer Assistants do this by limiting casualties, and as mentioned before, make sure the MTF are informed for the most efficient distribution of assets.
The assistants distribute advanced armory assets between MTF when other clearance personnel are not available (which falls to the highest level of CL4 on site.) This is to make sure that the site is maintained to the highest level of security.
As mentioned before, Overseer Assistants are ambassadors for the O5 council. In difficult situations where O5 are busy, or small things, the assistants are always there. Ready to inform the O5, and ensure everyone's safety, and returned to a stable state during a critical containment breach.
It is also of upmost importance to report potential enemy activity, to keep the floor 3 safe, as failing to do so would result in severe repercussions.
The O5 are very busy individuals, and as so they do not have time to read every single document. The Overseer Assistants help the O5s to stay informed by condensing information into a short and interesting brief. This is a very important responsibility of the Overseer Assistants, as if the O5 are not informed a catastrophe could occur. Growing up in Eastern Europe, T██████ "Mediator" D███ had great interest on research topics, trying to find a cure for Lung Cancer, as a close family member passed away due to it. Living in an area where the median income was low, ██████ had to discretely take bread from the local food stand to survive. He considered joining a meaningful organization, as his Brother, [REDACTED] joined the foundation. Later on, "Mediator" moved to Central Europe to advance his biology research. Rapidly moving to the top of his class, he had caught great interest in the field agents that were imbedded into the University. The information about the person of interest was swiftly relayed to Ethics Committee Assistant [REDACTED] , it reached Ethics Chairman [REDACTED], where the Ethics Committee considered him. However, due to not finishing University of Theoretical Sciences in ████████, the approval reached a stalemate. After a purely amazing year, he lead the research for Lung Cancer, greatly advancing the class. "Mediator" was immediately taken up for consideration, where it was approved, and he immediately was taken into Site-19. Being heavily interested in Sciences, "Mediator" became a researcher, where his potential was considered. After proving loyalty, and integrity, he was promoted to Senior Researcher. Shortly after, he was leading the case on SCP-████. He discovered that SCP-████ [EXPUNGED]. During this position, an issue arose where the O5 council required an assistant due to the previous one being MIA. He was considered, and after an interview, and a trial, he was shortly accepted. During a major SCP-████ breakout, due to his research on SCP-████ he quickly was able to set up different MTF squads, mainly A████-1, Nu-7, Elipson-11, and O████-1. The outbreak shortly ended. As new infections of SCP-████ did not halt to occur, "Mediator" advised the O5 council to impose new training procedures, and make a new MTF team, which was named Eta-10 "Anthropic." During a joint training with the Chaos Insurgency, Mediator received information that a Foundation asset has gone missing in action. Leveraging his diplomatic contacts, he had to investigate without jeopardizing existing relations.
