Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
I am applying for the Medical Consultant position because from the time that I have been playing the medical role, I have really enjoyed interacting with the people within the department. As well as the roleplay that I have been able to participate in with the help of other medical personnel it has been a great experience so far. I want to continue down this path in medical and hopefully create new branching storylines as a CL4 staff member. Furthermore, I want to help the medical sector by bringing in new trainees and combat medics as a part of the duties I will be performing, striving to make the department better with changes, new orders and events to be held. What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I am suitable for the role of a medical consultant because of my time acting as a CO for different MTF groups. While I have been a CO, I have had sections I have needed to manage which is something I have been able to do thoroughly without fail. With the ability to make sure people are actively participating in the roleplay I make as well as trying to get them involved in other people's RP. As stated before I plan to help come up with events/orders that the medical team will be able to participate in, this will include a wide variety of activities for the medical department to do not just including the typical documentation writing. I also feel as if I can bring you the perspective of an MTF player which will be able to help you see from their perspective in certain situations. I would also like to talk about my activity within the game and this means my presence on-site will be seen by others allowing them to approach me if they need anything. I strive myself on helping people that need it so any doctors that come to me with questions or queries then I will be there for them. Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
I am going to explain how to do an organ transplant and in this case I will be choosing a liver transplant. We are also going to assume the liver has already been unethically acquired from a D-Class that is a match and ethics didn't find out. So far so goodStep 1: The first step to a great surgery is the anesthesia which they would be given to make sure they remain asleep for the duration of this surgery.
Step 2: Make incisions large enough by the abdomen making sure it's wide enough for the entirety of the liver.
Step 3: After you have reached the liver and the incision is clamped open You would have to remove the diseased liver. Start by placing the liver that you are going to replace it with next to the diseased one. You would then disconnect all vessels and veins and reconnect them to the new liver restoring blood flow. You would then need to make sure the bile duct is connected from the new liver to the small intestines.
Step 4: After all of that has been connected and the old liver removed you would start closing the wound. Ensuring that there is no bleeding and all blood has been suctioned out from the open wound. After you have done that you would just go ahead and stitch the cut closed and apply a sterile dressing.
Step 5: After all that you will be arrested because it turns out ethics did know what you did with that D-Class. However, while you are being detained you will pass his monitoring and aftercare onto another doctor/nurse.
Step 6: Get tribunaled and found guilty spending the rest of your life in jail. You are now very sad.
For legal reasons that part about the D-Class was a joke. (Please release my kids)
