What makes you suitable for SCP-096?:
Not a trick question I hope. I believe "suitability" for SCP-096 comes down to the ability to convincingly roleplay the creature’s unique behaviors—particularly that of its emotional breakdowns and sudden aggression. To answer truthfully, I genuinely enjoy immersive roleplay and see this as a great first step to bring something memorable to the community. While SCP-096 isn’t a high-ranking official or commanding role, it requires strong attention to emotional detail and roleplay. For me, it's a first step toward refining my roleplay skills and contributing meaningfully to the server experience.
What is the usual behavior of SCP-096 when pacified?:
When pacified, SCP-096 usually shows docile and passive behavior. It will usually sit in place, and sometimes even wander around, covering its face with its hands, and emit occasional distressed sobbing or whimpering. The entity avoids eye contact and does not respond to most external stimuli. It remains completely non-aggressive until its face is seen, either directly or through images or recordings, at which point it enters a highly agitated and violent state.
When breached, where is SCP-096 allowed to go? Can SCP-096 beeline straight to D-Block?:
Generally speaking, the answer to that question is no—SCP-096 should not immediately book it to D-Block. Doing so would usually result in unfair gameplay or spawn killing, which goes against the Golden Rule of the server. SCP-096 should only go after specific individuals who have viewed its face, and not randomly charge into high-population areas without actual cause.
When it comes to other locations, context matters. If someone legitimately views SCP-096’s face on, say, Floor 3, then it would make sense for SCP-096 to head there and eliminate the viewer. The same could apply to surface-level areas if done through a roleplay manner. I could not find any rule for SCP-096 specifically stating they are not allowed to go to surface.
In conclusion, SCP-096’s movement depends entirely on valid in-character triggers. If someone somehow spreads an image of SCP-096’s face in a public area like D-Block or surface, I believe it'd be best to contact staff to handle the situation properly.
How is SCP-096 re-contained? Please describe all steps of the process:
Whenever SCP-096 finds itself uncontained and wandering the site aimlessly, MTF E-11's priority should be to inform all personnel, combative and non-combative, that SCP-096 has breached. Their instructions can be clear: Look down and report the sobbing. Once SCP-096 reaches its target that then unfortunately succumbs, SCP-096 will re-enter a docile state. (Unless another individual views its face.) When SCP-096 is in a docile state, MTF E-11 is to carefully place a bucket over SCP-096's head and shackle it's hands and ankles, carefully & safely escorting it back to it's containment chamber.
