Why are you applying for the Chief of Security?

Hello, I'm applying for the position of Chief Of Staff because I have major leadership skills and also spent some time with the GSD department during my work in the Site Administration, inspecting their department and following both chiefs' duties, making sure they are running the department correctly and thoroughly. However, I may have not played the for a little bit now, but those who know or remember me, know that I have what it takes to run a department well. I have a great amount of ideas to bring alongside me to improve the department and perhaps get it in a decent state. As everyone knows GSD has always been a struggle to lead or work with due to members of the team acting up constantly. We had a bit of this issue during my time in Nu-7 and upon reaching SGT I was given the position of punishment Head which actually was an LT position, but the Commanders knew I had what it takes to help the matter, which I did by inventing a brand new punishment system for Nu-7 which worked great and caused Nu-7 to have only minor behavior issues which were mostly in the rankings of PVT - SPC. What I'm trying to say here is that I have a great skill in leadership, creativity, and teamwork which causes me to stand out from other candidates for the position. I believe that I can make incredible changes in the department and improve vastly to the best of my ability since I have the skill, knowledge, and leadership to do so.

What makes you suitable for Chief of Security?:

The reason I believe I'm suitable for the position is that I have helped run departments and even ran some on my own which included Nu-7. For some time our commanders took some time off. Me and the other CPT Bob Skywing were the highest-ranking member in Nu-7 not including the commanders. During that time Site Administration and the Overseer Council had issues with the department due to the lack of production in Nu-7 which at the position of CPT I slowly started to improve and it was greatly noticed. I had the support of my fellow Nu-7 members and the current standing COs which included Bob Skywing he helped me make a change for the better during the time the commanders took some time off. However, there were still certain issues in the department that I could not change in my current standing rank as it required being LTCOM+. Meaning I could not further improve Nu-7 and after some time a position in site administration opened up so I applied for Site Advisor to perhaps help from a different direction. But later found out I could not due to the regiment being in an emergency state causing the Council to assign a new temporary commander to the team. However, I did not know during the time that my commanders were considering leaving the regiment and putting it in my hands as they knew I had what it takes to make the changes for the better in the position of Commander, but it was already too late and I made my choice. After, 2 weeks of being in site administration I was appointed as Site Manager by the Chief Overseer himself due to my accomplishments in the first weeks. This is the reason I believe I'm suitable for the position of Chief of Security as my journey proves that the skills I have can make incredible improvements to any department which I believe GSD currently needs. I'm ready to take on the position of Chief Of Security and work daily with all members of GSD and Captains and of course, the other Chief of Security to show improvement and creativity within the department. I just wish to try something new and since I have experience in the GSD department already and all my other knowledge and skills I know the GSD department will only rise. Being a Chief Of Security is not only about leading a department but it's also the most important role as new members to the foundation most likely join the GSD department straight away so it's important to show them a great impression and teach them some skills that they can carry alongside them during their time in the foundation.

What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Security in RP?:

- Leading the department of GSD
- Setting up weekly meetings to update the rest of the team on changes or other information
- Hosting training which includes setting up cross-training with other departments to also improve relations
- Controlling D-Block and managing GSD members within it
- Reviewing the applications of GSD Captains
- Creating Documentation for the department
- Looking and watching over Gensec Captains
- Creating new rules and ideas in the department and enforcing them throughout the department
- Punishing Captains when need be
- Helping new captains settle into the department
- Following orders of site administration
- Leading Code 2's if needed or absence of other captains
- Protecting D-block during Code 1s and leading the rest of GSD for safe capture of the SCPs

Please give some lore about your Chief of Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:

One day it was just so loud in the foundation, the sirens were blasting and you could hear the screams of others as SCP TYPE-GREEN breached from his containment cell. You could see blood spilled across walls knowing that the threat would soon be here. A man named Mark "Billy" Bob a member of the GSD department as an officer, was alerted and scared for his life but he could not betray the vows he swore when joining the GSD. "We live together, we die together but never leave a man behind". He could see his fellow friends slowly passing with wounds across their bodies leaking blood by the second, he could not leave them so he proceeded to take the equipment necessary to save them. He took his gun, ammo, field hit, and restraints to drag them away and mend their wounds in a safe area. The journey was not far across the foundation as he was dragging a total of 5 men putting over 200kg on him which slowed him down drastically but over time and many close calls he managed to get them to medbay where everyone fleed as soon as the alarm was called, so he had extra supplies to ensure the life of his friends. Mark "Billy" Bob was not trained in the medical section but he was hurt and injured many times so he had an idea of what he was doing. After around 8 hours of operating and caring for his fellow members, the breach was over and the 5 GSD members were healed resting in the beds of medbay. When Mark stepped out of medbay everyone said "Where were you? We needed you and you hid instead of helping" but they did not know the truth. As the day went on Mark was still scared and shivering because of what happened, but an emergency meeting was called within GSD which everyone came for in the lecture hall. Mark was getting some funny looking while being there and people noticed members were missing from the meeting but they continued to listen to the words of their chief of security. The Chief said, "I shall not speak today, another member will be speaking to you today due to the accomplishment of a fellow officer". The Site Director walked in and everyone stared as they saw the most important man within Site-65 enter, they were shocked and baffled by his entrance and just paused to listen to every word he had to say. The Site Director proceeded to step to the front and said "As you may see we are missing some fellow members today who suffered great injuries and are currently resting before returning to duty. However, this would not be possible if a fellow officer did not step up and concur with his fears and follow the vows of Gensec, his name is Mark "Billy" Bob and I'm sure you all know him. Today I am here to award him for his accomplishments and give him the second position of Chief Of Security so he can continue to make us proud!

The meeting ended, but it was already late and time for Mark to go to sleep, he was over the moon with excitement but knew he needed a good amount of rest for tomorrow so he could begin his journey as the Chief Of Security. The night flew past and it was time to wake up and get ready for work, Mark got dressed and headed up to the Site Directors office to claim his new uniform and badge. On the way he was praised and everyone cheered for him even his friends sat in wheelchairs looking proud of him and thankful for what he did. He claimed his badge and uniform put them all on and walked quickly to D-Block as a Code 2 was called and all captains were busy. He began by giving some tips and setting everyone's positions and entries during the riot. As some men rushed through vents and some rushed in through the airlock the RRT team blocked off all doorways to make sure a successful capture of all D-class was done. The Code 2 quickly finished and all Gensec retreated and went back to the wall to receive gratitude and credit for their work. A brief speech was given on some flaws and successes and everyone went back to duty. Mark returned to the Gensec leadership office to look through all documentation to see what was outdated or needed changing, he searched through all draws and cupboards and managed to find a few files. He began by re-writing them, making sure all information was up to date. He called up some captains praised them for their recent great work, and promoted some officers to the position of captain who have been doing very well recently.

Time went on and Mark continued to make great changes in the Gensec department which improved it greatly over the last 10 years of being Chief Of Staff, his career to this day continues with much more to come.
