MTF O-1 Captain
Executive Researcher

Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
None
What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I'm applying for the Ethics Committee Member role because Id like to:
Dedicate:
I have proven to most of the community of my dedication to the server through my multiple positions I have held climbing the ranks and it wasn't through "kissing ass," it was putting in the time to the improvement of whatever position I was or currently or am holding which is something a ECM needs to have. I have heard stories of numerous ECMs before my time of them not putting the effort and dedication needed to create more RP scenarios and I would like to be apart of that, create a new environment in the Ethics Department where you know you can come to for any questions, approvals for projects and reports.
Experience:
I have garnered a lot of experience in the combat side and in the roleplay side with the various positions I now have held or is holding and like many other applicants I would like to further that experience. I would like to get into a CL5 position which is a very high and sought after position and very few get to have a chance in a position like that. I might not have the same amount of administrative experience as others but that is not stopping me from still applying for this position, but it is something I would like to be apart of. I have gained a lot of knowledge in the positions that I am currently holding and I feel I'm ready for a Site Command position.
Roleplay:
I'd like to create more unique opportunities for roleplay scenarios for the foundation whether its somehow have reigniting the relations of GOC and bringing in unique opportunities for roleplay situations that have not been done before and I believe I could do that if I had a CL5 position like Ethics Committee. I feel that its important for the Ethics Committee to make those scenarios and I believe you get so many opportunities as a CL5 to make them, whether its ordering a code word for O-1 or even get brainwashed by CI to then feed information to them within regards to what goes on in Site which is another reason why I would like to become apart of the Ethics Committee.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
Hard Working

Since I joined the server I've always tried to find ways to improve whatever regiment or department that I'm in writing up documents or improving the over all quality. I'm always trying to improve myself spending hours on end writing up documents especially in O-1. The entirety of my time in the regiment I've always asked spoke to the CO's about instances where I know it can be improve writing up new formations, new ideas like for example my A-1 O-1 Squadron Proposal where they would work together to improve the overall relations as well as efficiency and overall intimidation of working together which can be rare for us. I've taken Prosecutor's head on trying to improve it as much as possible because the state of the prosecutor was an all time low and I've gotten it working on investigations again and have already set up tribunals that we've scheduled. It's very difficult to get promoted in MTF and it's normally because they want to get a person that shows dedication and hard work that wants to improve the regiment that they are in, I recieved promotions at ever possible instance when I was off cooldown and it was a promotion meeting which is more proof that I'm always working hard to be better. Since I joined OSA I've written a document at every time I was on the job. I've only been a OSA for a very short time but I'm already taking it head on doing interviews with players and creating unique RP scenarios. I believe from the proof that I've explain above and also show In-Character proves that I'm a very hardworking player.
Friendly
I feel that as an Ethics Committee member you have to be approachable to the community so that they can come to you without having to worry about being disrespected and actually have their ideas take into consideration. I feel that through my time on the server In-Character and Out Of Character I've always been a person that someone could come to talk with issues in game and out of the game which is something I'm very proud of. I've been told that I'm a very approachable person. I've always went out of my way to help new players on my characters such as Executive Researcher and SR Researcher teaching people how to improve what to do and having long conversations with them. Being friendly is very important as an Ethics member but you also have to be stern and professional in RP and not be someone who can be taken advantage of for being too friendly and my time in Prosecutor proves that.
Activity
I believe I'm a very active person in the community In-Character as well as in Out-Of-Character. (Staff) As a O-1 CO as well as being a Senior-Moderator its expected of me to be a active person in the community and I believe I've proven that with how quickly I got both those positions as well as shows dedication. I'm always a message away on externals and almost always available to talk about matters late at night or during early mornings. It's very rare for me to not respond to message and normally those reasons are I'm asleep. I believe its very important as a Ethics Committee member you should be available most of the day due to the position that your holding you are basically running the Site and I believe I've proven that with my various hours both In-character and Out-Of-Character.
Creativity
It's very important to be creative as a Ethics Committee Member. The reason why I say this is because you need to create unique scenarios and roleplay for the community so that they can always be immersed in SCP RP as well as have fun with the various things that they could do approving unique Cross Tests. My time as a SR Researcher and Little time Executive Researcher proves my Creativity for example my Research Paper on SCP-082. (The Cannibal) What I've done is, I had an interview with the SCP in French, due to his origins of being French. They also have a thick English accent due to being French. So because of that reason I thought that it would logically be easier to speak to the SCP in his native tongue. I believe that it proves I can be very creative when it comes to creating RP.

Experience with Ethical Duties
As an O-1 CO officer and the Prosecutor lead it shows that I already have experience in doing audits of departments , enforcing the FLC, Investigating Departments for Unethical behaviours as well as prosecuting for Tribunals. I believe already having experience in those instances does put me ahead with some of the other applicants. I feel that it's important to have experience in Ethics so you understand what role you are getting into. So having experience as an Ethics Committee Assistant or as a Internal Affairs Ambassador or like me an O-1 Officer should be something an applicant should have.

In Conclusion I believe I do have the traits needed to be one of the best candidates for the position of Ethics Committee Member

Hello @Melon

I am giving you a +support

I have had generally positive interactions with you as staff however I have not interacted with you that much IC. I am unsure of your ability in documentation and RP but your role as an O-1 CPT and OSA shows that you most likely are experienced in these areas. From my interactions with you and the quality of your application, I believe you would make a good ECM.

Kind regards,
Edwin
