What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:​

Being a more realistic-ish form of Government on the server, one that actually interacts and regularly makes contact with the civilian in Pinewood, while at the same time being a more roleplay focused group, I want to bring my almost 10 Years worth of roleplaying experience into the GOC. Along with my extensive knowledge about SCPs, and the will to act with a more mature mindset I believe that I will bring not only fun, but also engaging interactions.​

Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:​

As said above, I wish to engage with the people of Pinewood, while acting moreso as a form of Government, rather than an Insurgent. While the Chaos Insurgency focuses more on attacking the Foundation, I reckon I find myself more at home with playing as a GOC, who more or less act as a form of Government.​

Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:​

As mentioned below, after the Seventh Occult War, the GOC was founded to defend the world of anomalous threats, rather than detain them for research or utilizing them for their own gain. Seeking to destroy anomalies, the GOC gathers information on anomalies through battles, rather than research documents or spying on other GOI's. Being funded by world governments also gives them a great arsenal to deal with such threats, while also being decades ahead in terms of military, aswell as intelligence prowess.​

What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:​

PSYCHE: The diplomats of the GOC. They handle all political related dealings, establish peace or temporary cease-fires between nations and other Groups of Interests.
The Ambassadors.

PHYSICS: The Global Occult Coalition's armed forces. The military wing, similar to the SCP Foundation's Mobile Task Forces. These men and women serve as the main force of containing, neutralizing and the safe keeping of the anomalous, while at the same time acting as a military force against any hostile groups, while at the same time also being able to research and study anomalies on the field, rather than in a lab.

PTOLEMY: The research division. They handle the day-to-day logistics of the GOC. From creating benefitial chemicals, to creating and working on improving weaponry or technologies. Logistic branch, basically.​

What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:​

The GOC has 5 goals;
SURVIVAL
The protection against anomalous threats is the top priority of the Global Occult Coalition. Be it terminating, containing or hiding the anomalous, every step to assure the protection and survival of human kind is to be taken.
This goal takes priority over all the remaining ones.

CONCEALMENT
Ensuring that the public remains unaware of the anomalous is yet another goal, as panic and widespread casualties could lead to the eventual extinction of the human race.

PROTECTION
Assuming it doesn't go against the first two goals, both civilians and operatives are to be protected whenever and wherever possible.

DESTRUCTION
No risks should be taken when it comes to paranomal threats. Their existence alone is enough to put the survival of human kind at a high risk.

EDUCATION
Surviving the anomalous also requires knowledge of the anomalous. To know how to deal with them, aswell as how to combat possible insurgents is vital to ensure the survival of human kind, assuming the knowledge doesn't go against the four previous goals.​

Please explain The Seventh Occult War:​

Fighting against the Nazis, then known as the Ahnerbe Obskurakorbs in WWII, the then Allied Occult Initiative fought to prevent the finishing of a ritual, known as the Rite of Solomon. Finishing the ritual would have given the Nazis god-like feats of strength, enabling them to win the war without shedding any kind of sweat. The then Allied Occult Initiative bonded together with other Groups of Interest sharing the same goal of the destruction of the Obskurakorbs.

Decimating their enemies before the ritual could succeed, the Governments of the World sought out a more open-minded approach to dealing with the anomalous, which resulted in the formation of the Global Occult Coalition, consisting of roughly 108 organizations.​

What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:​

The GOC acts as a more realistic form of government in the SCP-universe, wanting to end wars and the anomalous alike. Their approach in dealing with the anomalous makes me actually believe that they have more compassion for human kind, compared to the SCP Foundation, which has it's goals on containing and protecting all kinds of anomalous beings, be they a threat to human kind or not, whereas the GOC does not shy away from termination if the cause is justified for it.​

Biographical Information:
'Imura' has been raised and taught to be a man just like his father - A military officer aiding in the progress of aiding the Japanese Government in sustaining its survival during an energy crisis, rounding up civilians and demanding taxes in forms of oil and energy, even forcing some applicable workers to work for them. It was not until 'Imura' was of the age of 30 where he decided to leave his family in search for more promising adventures. Travelling across the land, it was not until 35 where he first encountered his first SCP and as such, the GOC along with it.
Having been caught in an anomalous radius, which had temporarly given him amnesia and already being well-built thanks to the strict training procedures his father had put him through, the GOC added him to their ranks and after some training and years passing, 'Imura' soon found his goal. A more promising adventure, leading him into dangerous adventures with the end-goal being the safety of not only himself, but humankind and the Globe as a whole.
