Why are you applying for the Director of External Affairs?
I am applying for DoDEA because I have worked in DEA for a very long time, and I want to show the department how much I love and appreciate it. Additionally, I want to develop the ability to participate in bigger and better roleplay scenarios in the department and in the site, as I enjoy engaging in roleplay with others, and I love working with people both inside and outside of the department. Another reason I want to be DODEA is to help ensure the department runs smoothly. I want to make sure members stay active and achieve their goals.
What makes you suitable for the Director of External Affairs?:
1. RP.
I have done a lot of RP with GOI and within the department. I have also assisted with RP plans that people are planning or already implementing. For example, if GOC wants to do RP with medical, I try to think of RP ideas to collaborate with them. If they already have a plan to work with medical, I will support them as much as I can whenever possible. The same applies to medical; if they want to do RP with GOC, I will help them just as much as I would help GOC.
2. Leading and running the Department.
I believe I know how to lead the department because I have seen and worked with many good management members from whom I have learned how to lead the department and how to make good decisions for it. I understand which choices to make and which to avoid because choosing the wrong ones could lead to regret and possibly not wanting to be involved as a director or even on the server.
3. Helpfulness
I enjoy helping people as much as I can, which is why I am also a moderator. I want to ensure that people don't overwork themselves and then become burned out, leading them to stop playing on the server. When that happens, activity drops and everything falls into chaos. That's why I aim to assist people whenever I can and as much as they need or I am able to, because the more I help, the happier they become and the less likely they are to burn out, which makes everyone happier.
4. My experience
I have been on the server for a long time, and I have also been in the department for a long time, which means I usually know what to do and whom to do it for. I have also seen many people's opinions on various topics and my own, so I understand which decisions will benefit the site and the department.

What are the responsibilities of the Director of External Affairs in RP?:
- Leading DEA
DoDEA needs to lead DEA in a way that doesn't hurt others or ruin things for others as well. They need to make sure that the members of the DEA are actually doing their job, not just sitting in bunks and not doing anything. One of the bigger things DoDEA needs to make sure of is that good people are getting picked for the right jobs, as DoDEA is more RP-based than Combat, but not entirely RP, just a bit more so. Those who like combat and are good at it should get SP agent at one point, but if they also do good RP, then they should be promoted. The last part about leading the DEA is that they can't let people down-talk the DEA and make the DEA look stupid or just bad in general, so they need to keep the reputation up.
- Creating RP
DoDEA needs to ensure that RP is being created and carried out properly. They also need to ensure that very bad RP is not being made, as nobody likes poor RP, and it could damage the Department's image. Additionally, with RP, they must make sure it is being done with other departments, not just within the department itself, so DEA gains a better reputation.
- Relations
DoDEA needs to ensure that relationships with other GOI, plus other Departments or MTF’s are good; if they aren't, it could lead to a war or cause clashes or lack of support. If this happens, it will show that DEA is unprofessional and can't handle meetings, and it will also damage DEA's reputation.
