Lore: A previous DEA Agent, Mr Foster was sent to infiltrate a MC&D sale under the guise of a cult member worshipping 049. It was going quite smooth down to the purchase of the anomalous item, A acclaimed ''Cloak of invisibility'' due to some unforeseen elements Mr Fosters true allegiance was discovered and he was engaged by a MC&D member who poured a unidentified liquid onto him causing the anomalous effect of the cloak to change drastically and for the mask and cloak to effectively become fused to his Skin. While his chances of survival were abysmal the rest of the DEA team moved in and Terminated the rest of the MC&D members (Capture was attempted but several were fitted with cyanide pills). He was soon recovered and sent to Medical where his condition was discovered, It was also discovered that if the mask was removed in surgery the chances of losing his eyesight were above 97%. Deciding to leave the mask on Mr Foster Stayed on site for a while to recover from his injury's, It was then that he took a interest into the GSD division as he decided to resign from DEA to work on the GSD task force where he felt more comfortable considering his condition and the fact that a man with a plague doctor mask and a ''Glitchy'' Transparent cloak on surface would be hard to explain to civilians and amnesticating would be to much effort.

The mask was painted Pink By Mr Foster and some other Foundation staff to help Distinguish it from SCP-049 During breaches.
