What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:

I believe my experience in roleplay and maintaining a serious altitude is a big point for me. I believe from my experience from being an Overseer Assistant is particularly helpful as I am great at following orders to the fullest extent. I am also willing to assist the Ethics Committee in their day-to-day duties. I will manage the site in the absence of Site Administration and Site Command to the fullest extent. I am looking to expand upon my CL4 duties and jobs. I have decent experience in enforcing the Foundation Legal Codex. I am unbiased towards any party if I am obligated to enforce the Foundation Legal Codex. I will do what I do best to improve upon the site and establish serious roleplay. I believe that establishing roleplay and making it enjoyable for the participants is a another big point. I also have great leadership ability.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:

• Representing & Assisting the Ethics Committee

Ethics Committee Assistants are required and play a huge role within the Ethics Committee's working. They are the ones that represent the Ethics Committee when the Ethics Committee Members are unavailable to attend an event or discuss important stuff. Ethics Committee Assistants play a huge role in managing the site during the absence of The Ethics Committee. They relieve most of the duties off the Ethics Committee Members to give them less stress in order for them to do their duties. They are extremely trusted by the Ethics Committee Members.

• Fulfilling Ethics Committee Orders

Ethics Committee Assistants cooperate with Omega-1 in order to fulfill any orders given out by Ethics Committee Members. Ethics Committee Assistants fulfill the orders to the fullest of their ability. The Ethics Committee's wishes are their orders and they fulfill it. Orders by the Ethics Committee may include a wide variety of stuff such as tests or sampling. Doing these orders reduces the workload on the Ethics Committee Members.

• Enforcing Foundation Legal Codex

The Ethics Committee are the ones who maintain law around the site so it is upon their duty that they enforce the Foundation Legal Codex, Ethics Committee Assistants are required to enforce the Foundation Legal Codex. They may enforce the Foundation Legal Codex themselves or request assistance from Omega-1. However, they can not order Omega-1 as they do not have authority over them.

• Approving Testing or Cross-testing on SCPs

Ethics Committee Assistant may approve cross-tests or testing on specific SCPs for research personnel, however they can not approve anything related to SCP-008. They can approve almost every possible test or cross-test in order to reduce the workload on Ethics Committee Members. They are required to approve tests that have a clear purpose not just tests that do not have a purpose nor benefit.

• Approving Advanced Armory

Assistants are tasked with managing the site in the times of crisis and that includes Code 5s. Assistants can authorize advanced armory when Site Administration and Site Command are unavailable to do such authorization. Assistants can authorize Advanced Armory when 2 or more SCPs are breached and Site Security Forces are struggling to recontain them. Advanced Armory can be authorized only for MTF Non-Commissioned Officers.

• Approving Mass Termination

Ethics Committee Assistants have priority to approve Mass Termination when Ethics Committee Members are unavailable to do such. They can only approve mass termination under rare circumstances when riots overwhelm GENSEC have been going on for too long. They can also approve mass termination in the case multiple sweeps have failed and the Class D overpower GENSEC.

• Approving Site Lockdowns & Managing the Site

In the absence of Site Command or Site Administration in the case of extremely large containment breaches they can approve Site-wide lockdowns. They can also approve lockdowns for specific areas of the site for trainings and other reasons. They manage the site during times of crisis and they are looked up upon from many lower ranking personnel. It is not an easy task to manage an entire site but they do it to the fullest extent.

• Stopping Information Leakers

This is a main priority and they can assist ISD in order to crack down upon infoleakers, However Alpha-1 and Overseer Assistants have priority over them they can assist however.

• Assisting in Tribunals

Ethics Committee Assistants play a huge role in tribunals, they either assist Ethics Committee Members during the tribunal. If the Ethics Committee Member is unavailable to be the judge of the tribunal. Ethics Committee Assistants take it upon them to be a fair judge within the tribunal and non-biased to any sides. Being a judge in tribunals requires a lot of wisdom to begin with.

• Assisting in Departmental Inspections

Ethics Committee Assistants play a huge role in writing departmental inspections for each month. They assist the Ethics Committee in seeing the behavior of departments and writing stuff that could be helpful for the inspections. They help reduce the Ethics Committee Members' stress during departmental inspections which is a huge thing.

• Other CL4 Duties

They do other duties such as closing BDs or Opening BDs whenever needed or required. They also watch CCTV and cooperate with the ISD. They also are around to ensure the site does not go into complete chaos. They make sure other CL4s are doing their job correctly.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Nick was raised in unfortunate conditions through out his lives, he always wanted to have a purposeful life but that chance wouldn't come to him. He went to public school and was particularly interested in being a biologist since he was a kid. Years pass he enrolls into college and gets a job at a medical institution. He had made multiple different cures for diseases and distributed them worldwide. Eventually he got noticed by the SCP Foundation. He was at his work then suddenly an accident occurs and he goes unconscious.

He wakes up in a hospital room with 2 men in military uniform. He was confused? He was asking them why he is here? Eventually he is offered to join the Foundation for the greater good of humanity after a small debrief, he hesitates but then remembers his lifelong goal. Live a purposeful life, he then accepted and was a Junior Researcher in the Foundation. He quickly went up the ranks and eventually became a Senior. He done multiple research projects on multiple CL4 SCPs with permission. While he was writing up an experiment log. He gets kidnapped by Omega-1. He screams for help but there is no avail. He then finds himself in a small empty room presumably in Ethics Offices. Infront of him is an Ethics Committee Member granting him the oppertunity to be his own Assistant since he saw morals and great work from him. Nick quickly accepted the offer and was told that he starts tomorrow.
