What server are you applying for: UK

Your Username: Juicy

Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:158523796

Discord Username: juicypickle.

Age: 23

What's your current playtime : 2400 hours

Do you have a mic (optional): Yes

Your characters name: Norbert Sea

List all the names of the characters that you use (Foundation, Civillian, e.t.c.): Norbert Sea, Zoinkers Zapilligus

Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications: Yes for GM

Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why (type /warnings in-game):

No bans/kicks or warns in 3+ years. My one ban was from forcefeeding butter to people to heal them on my first day on the server

How many hours can you be on everyday: 1-2

Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community: Yes, I ran several RP enhancements as a GOC LTGEN and HMOD, using GM event entities and other props to enhance SCP tests and RP within the regiment, as well as introducing unique anomalous objects. I have also GMed in several communities including CWRP and 40kRP, but these involved different skills to those needed for SCP events

Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice: I can make decent PACs and Advanced Dupes, nothing super advanced but holdtypes, model/skeleton changes etc are doable.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:

A classic RP enhancement for a Department would be an information booth being set up, including a sign and a number of props to display what that dpt is all about.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:

A non-foundation RP enhancement would have to focus on civillians. I would count the creation of a food cart or weapons selling truck for one of the civillain vendors as an RP enhancement, although something like a parawatch training course would also be acceptable

Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:

A GOC event idea would be a sudden geological event destabalising a section of their base wall, having a small cave open up. This would be a GM event teleporting players into a "cave network" on the GM plane, in which they would explore and discover a the bodies of missing excavation team from the foundation HCZ excavation who had been attempting to tunnel out before being prevented by the same geological event. The event would focus on the decision on what to do with the bodies and supplies (Give to foundation, keep for themselves)

Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:

a Chaos Insurgery event could involve more of a mobile objective based defence, as opposed to the standard raid defence loop. I would have CI follow and defend a heavy armour convoy from the edge of pinewood towards and into their base. Using event actors as armoured crew, I would essentially have the CI use their surface scouting and combat skills to keep a truck of supplies alive on its way towards the base. This even would focus on how CI and SOP/GOC responded to a mobile objective, keeping the surface PVP a little fresher

Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:

An SCP foundation event would involve a member of RAISA entering the facility to check on the various printer and keycard loses. This would ivolve interacting with the various departments to check their corkboards, and discuss the ongoing digitziation efforts of the site. This would also invole discussions of shredding useless enemy keycards into foundation ones, as well as other somewhat inane cost-cutting measures. A subplot throughout the event would be the RIASA agents embezzlement of funds meant to be going to Site-65 for these costs, hence the desire to cut them beforehand. Players would be left to interact with this agent how they saw fit, and uncover the truth of their budget requirements if the right questions are asked

Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):

A major event involving a map change would be as follows:

an agent from Anderson Robotics infiltrates Site-65 and makes off with a key component of SCP-914, which strangely would not have an effect on the machine, but would drastically lower the hume output of its products. The reasons for this theft are unkown, but as the convoy from Anderson Robotics escapes the area, both GOC and CI operatives would be informed of its departure as well as the ultra-high hume readings the convoy was giving off. Each group would then be invited to attempt to recapture the 914 component, on a new map (I would use a dock/port map, unsure of the name but I know a few).

After the map swap, noncombative players would be given the option of playing as B-1 Operatives sent in to assist with the exisitng combtive forces of Site-65, as each GOI fights through a highly warped area to recover the componenet from the convoy, which crashed on the way to the shipping area and spilled the component onto the floor, causing a widespread reality bending effect that would follow the theme of 914 (some objects become high tech, some stuff goes to its component parts). I would have hume fields visible to the eye as orbs that would cause these effects to happen to players as they go through them (think STALKER), using GM asssistants to keep track of this if an Event Entity could not be used to do it automatically.

The event would end after one faction reached and secured the component for extraction, having to fend off the other 2 either as a 1v1v1 or a 2v1 depending on if teams decided to be formed.

What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible.

The number 1 thing that makes an event suck is the GM having a totally set plan and refusing to deviate. This is most common with event SCPs that have random, sometimes honestly bullshit, rules that the GM does not explain and requires players to essentially guess using RP. When RP attempting to uncover aspects of an event that would totally make sense in the lore of the SCP universe and Site-65 is carried out, a good event needs to work with this to improve the experience, where a bad event will ignore it or give some random reason why it fails; e.g "oh that scranton actually cant stop this reality warping effect because uhhh its too strong or something anyyways you're now on fire"

And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?

I want to do more RP enhancements as opposed to large scale events, as I feel players come up with better storylines as groups than the GM team does quite often (not that the GM team does a bad job). I wish to encourage people to actually try new things out both with anomolies and with other members of the site as opposed to just doing the same loop everyone always does on the site.
