Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:

All warnings/bans are 3+ years old, I have 1 ban for XP farming from my first day on the server, I ran around force feeding people butter and healing them for support XP. At the time there was no XP farming rule publicly shown, so I thought it was ok

Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?

I've played on this server, the USA server and a little on MRP for nearly half a decade, and have always done some form of combative role. Most of my time has been either in the GOC regiment or as a member of a various MTF force, all of which are massively combative and leave less room for player to player RP. While GOC did have a lot of RP, most of it was either diplomacy or SCP testing. I would like to try branching out into an RP area of the server, and ISD is my favorite foundation role to occupy. I know from experience that a lot more RP happens at higher CL4 and above, and therefore would like to try such a role in ISD

What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:

I very much like the FLC, which is somewhat cliche but true nevertheless. I think it is genuinely the most interesting part of the servers RP, both through the enforcement aspect and for those who have to try and work around it without being caught themselves. Because I genuinely give a shit about the FLC, I am more likely than most to engage in the aspects Inspectors roles entail in the enforcement and understanding of said FLC.

I have experience in leadership positions, both as Jr CL4, Sr CL4 and CL5, and maintained these positions until I stepped down due to burnout, demonstrating I am able to lead groups or individuals while following server and organization policies, as well as follow instructions from higher ups during said leadership stints.

I am relatively active, and can put in multiple days a week of playtime on the role to ensure ISD has a CL4 member of staff available for longer periods on the server, allowing for new ISD to be added, ISD Investigators to be promoted and ISD operations to be managed, created and run at wider time frames

What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:

A good ISD Inspector should be confident above all else, as at CL4 you are responsible for arresting up to MTF Commanders and other Sr CL4 personnel if they breach the FLC, who will not go quietly and are likely to have extremely strong opinions on their behaviour. I also hold confidence to be an important characteristic in inter-department operations, which are being pushed for currently with the department monthly ratings and several operations being undertaken by ISD. A confident Inspector will allow ISD's voice to be more active in the planning and carrying out of tasks within the wider site, and in turn allow for better RP for all members of ISD as a whole. A good inspector should also be impartial and as non-biased as possible. Bias is not feasible to be totally detached from, and anyone who begs to differ is likely not putting enough thought into it, but in being aware of the existence of bias and taking steps to avoid it bleeding into action (such as having other people handle arrests/punishments for people you have friction with), it can be better avoided and prevent issues with unfair punishments or promotions taking place

Finally, I think a good Inspector knows when to have fun with people on site, as opposed to actively trying to arrest people for little to no reason. the FLC needs to be upheld In Character of course, but an overly strict ISD causes burnout both for the player maintaining the character, as they will end up in a lot of conflicts, as well as for the players who are in turn interacting with them, who will come out of their time on the server for the day feeling worse off.

How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:

In ISD, I have written no massive documents myself, as we have just had a lot of new templates and operations started to my knowledge. In the wider server however I have written a large number of RP documents. I was a part of the first MOAT negotiations, a number of DMZ agreements, and large GM enhanced RP chains involving 008, 914 and The Cube anomaly within the GOC. For me a trait that defines a "good" major RP document is formatting. The content of the document is important, as this goes without saying (as its literally in the name), but a well formatted document makes RP feel a lot more involved and immersed than a random blank google doc with an ISD logo badly pasted on the top.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:

ISD Inspectors exist as a management position within the ISD department. With powers such as authorisation of D-Block Infiltration, Arrest Report Authorisation and ISD training, they help to direct CL3 ISD members into activities beyond just aimlessly wandering around the site, as well as answering questions and assisting with arrests and documentation

In roleplay more specifically, they help to coordinate ISD operatives within the site in arrests, operations and patrols, acting as a bridge between the leadership of the site and the more junior ISD agents and operatives. They essentially act as leaders for the junior agents, and lead them around in groups for operations that need more than one agent

Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:

This very much seems like a repeat of the 3rd long answer question in the application, and as such the answer will be broadly similar. I have experience leading as an NCO on site in MTFs, as well as Roleplayer Leadership in the GOC. The GOC specifically had a somewhat similar function to ISD in some instances, such as the enforcement of the Paralegal Codex and the DMZ. The leading of both Site 65 and external RP gives me insight into how the wider systems of the server work, both IC and OOC with SL. I believe in a firm but fair approach in leadership, and I am very much aware that letting people get away with causing serious problems only leads to both them and the group they are a part of becoming bogged down in drama. As such, I will not be too nervous or lack the confidence to correct issues within agent and operatives if they arise, as opposed to letting them fester

Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:

My ISD character is a pretty standard person with no major anomalous or world-shattering backstories. I always find it hard to RP as an edgelord or extreme character, and have kept my In Character actions relatively normal to allow Norbert to grow in any direction required. I have been involved as an active participant in several operations and a major arrest of a bomb maker within the site, and have a rivalry going with a certain prank-calling tech expert in character currently. I would aim to be further involved in inter-departmental ISD operations, such as the ongoing one to crack down on anomalous graffiti, and would try and bring Norbert into conversations with a large range of people both within, and possibly even outside, of Site 65
