What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:

I am applying for the Role of Ethics Committee Member.
I am applying for the role because I believe I have the out-of-character capabilities and roleplay capabilities that are required for the role of ECM. I believe I have the roleplay needed and the lorewise that is becoming of an Ethics Member, which I’ll go more on below with the best candidate, but I believe i can create RP like I have been doing for not only just my departments I liaise with, and departments as a whole, but I believe I can conduct more RP towards AO, as well as Ethics. I feel like I am also ready for more of an oversight position of watching people and making sure ISD personnel are behaving as they should be, but also being a role-play leader and creating role-play for all personnel on site. And I believe I am well-versed in how Ethics is supposed to manage their duties ICly and OOCly, and believe I have shown the capability of an Ethics Member OOCly and ICly so far.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I have a lot of plans for stuff within the server, which I will go into below.
I am extremely active. I understand the OOC issues, as well as IC issues, in-game issues, and out-of-game issues.
-Omega 1
Have Omega-1 do more covert escorts and operations. That’ll help a bunch as well; have Omega-1 assist with ISD duties and speak with Internal Security Department Management to set up more operations that Omega-1 and ISD can work on together. This will continue the lie that Omega-1 is actually a part of ISD, as well as have them work together more!
Work with the Officer Team to have training done, such as Covert Training and covert escorting. I’d also like more RP encounters, perhaps creating a storyline with a possible corrupt member of ISD, and Omega-1 has to find and investigate into ISD on who is corrupt.
-Assistants
Assistants are the biggest thing aside from Omega-1 that a member would have. They are able to be there and report directly to the Ethics Member, so some plans I have are the following. Have more orders for Assistants that go along with acting as Ethics. Hosting Q&As in the Lecture Hall, going around the site gathering information from personnel about their mental well-being. Encouraging more roleplay to be done with the lower ranks of the Site, and not just important people. I’d also like to have more specialized tasks. While Assistants currently have Magistrates, I’d like more specialized orders such as hosting a lecture about the FLC, hosting an ethics Q&A, infiltrating a department with Omega-1 and looking at how a department’s ethical standards are, and bringing close relationships with Assistants and departments and the regiment. I would also like assistants to be a part of working with Site Administration to help with the monthly scorecards. Currently, there is a rating called Ethics Rating on it, and is up to the ethics committee on how they want to handle this as per what Broda had set up. With this, I’d like to set up orders for each month, to have ethics assistants note down anything unethical from departments, and give their personal feedback at the end of the month on what score they believe the department should have. In which Ethics will look at the scores, debate them, and then pass the final score to Site Administration. This will be a public order within the sa-assistant-orders-uk chat. I believe this will also allow individuals within the assistant roles to take more of a leadership role and allow further progression into positions such as Site Administration.
Have them go through investigations, and teach them how to work with investigations using Omega-1.
-Relations with Floor 3.
The Ethics Committee was founded with one goal, and that is to protect the O5 council against corruption. So how would Omega-1, Ethics Assistants, and Ethics as a whole continue their true purpose?
Simple, improve relations with Alpha-1. Ask them if they wish to have patrols and work on training together. And have them act as a polite face.
And in the shadows? Have Omega-1 watch A1/O5/OSA’s from afar. Disguised and keeping PoI threads, and maintaining from afar rather then have conflicts be very public and open.
-ISD
Well, with the leave of the director, and now Pixie. ISD is in somewhat of a meh state, but it can be made better. But the plans I have for ISD are to work on having them cooperate more with Omega-1, as well as having them work together within the department. Currently, ISD has two offices, and I’d like for them to work together and make plans to work together, as ISD should be a joint team, rather than one party doing independent work. I’d also like to put more orders that Omega-1 and ISD can do jointly, as I believe that’ll help bring in not only roleplay to Omega-1’s cover story but also roleplay with ISD. I’d also like ISD to escort me more often and, hopefully, utilize TRU more for escorting. While IE are the heavier escorts and usually should be doing covert escorts, I’d like regular ISD to help escort me as well for non-classified areas, for all ranks, and not just TRU. I'm happy to write the documents they need as Site Administration and help with anything else they need. I will also be working with Godman about ISD
and assist with whatever they may need, and crack down on issues and arguments they may do.
-Site Admin
I’m going to explain what I have done for Site Admin so far.
With the departure of our director and two managers, I have stepped up as well as Bubbles to increase the maturity and leadership within Site Administration, as, quite frankly, it was lacking. I have also required Site Administration to have personnel files on an in-game side, and an out-of-game side, why? Well since it is a new thing, i eventually would like a GM objective that the Chaos Insurgency can hack, which will allow CI and/or GOC to learn about personnel within Site Administration. Even if I get Ethics Member, I will still be pushing for this to be added. I have also gone and mentored the new advisors, and made sure all applications are looked up in a quick manner. I have been extremely active with communication and creating RP on the site within Site Admin. Currently, Site Administration has very strong leaders who are able to run the show if I were to depart from Site Admin and become an Ethics Member, and again I will still be able to assist Site Administration as an ethics member and give feedback! I believe what I have done for site administration so far has been wonderful, and I believe I have made a part, as well as bubbles to make site administration in a good state.
While I may not be the most experienced candidate in recent times and have only been in Site Administration for a few months and Site Manager for about a week-ish. I believe I have good ideas I can bring along, and I am an active role player on the site. I believe if given the chance, I could be a wonderful ECM.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
Maintaining the Longest Lie. Which is to be Pencil Pushers to the average person on site, and ensuring the foundation upholds its ethics and values in its operations. While in reality they are an investigatory branch, and making sure the Foundation does not move away from its core of Secure, Containing and Protect.
They are also known for their true purpose. Which is to protect the O5 council against corruption, and monitor the council and what they are doing, and intervene if they do unethical procedures or act against the foundation's mission statement. However, if they intervene, it is only as an advisor and not to issue orders, as that would break the true purpose of the committee.
Primary Action is when the council has gone so far from the foundation’s principles that they utilize Omega-1 to terminate the O5 Council and get new members. However, if they vote on this, they have gone from their purpose as the Ethics Committee, in which case they will also be terminated.
Utilizing Omega-1 and Ethics Assistants to gather intelligence. While Ethics Assistants are the public face of the Ethics Committee, they should be gathering intel. Omega-1 should be used to gather information, grab PoIs as well as grab informants.
The Ethics Committee also does the following.
Call in ERT utilizing guidelines.
Utilizing the Alpha Warhead when ERT and containing the anomalies have failed.
Act as a Judge in tribunal cases; however, this should be done with ECA’s first to gather more roleplay.
Working with the O5 Council and creating role-play scenarios together!
Auth of Mass Termination of Class-D Personnel.
Site-Wide Amnestication, where anyone not in EOC, Floor 3, or ECO gets amnesticated.
Utilize Omega-1 and Assistants for whatever they need.
Work with ISD Management to make sure the FLC is upheld, as well as working with ISD Management to make sure they are getting stuff done.
Improving relations with the Overseer Council to make sure what they are doing is in the foundation’s best interest and follows the mission statement of Secure Contain Protect. And acting as an advisor if they aren’t. And if they are so far gone, enact primary action as stated earlier.

Ethics are the highest pinnacle of roleplay leaders. So they must make sure roleplay is being held and being done. So, make sure that roleplay is done from the departments they control.
They are to follow the Site Command guidelines and help appoint Omega-1 Commanders, as well as ISD Directors.
They are also to appoint ECAs, and when appointing ECAs, make sure that an RP is done to it as well.
They also have access to almost every single Discord channel (excluding Alpha-1/OSA/O5 Channels). And are supposed to watch them as much as possible to see how roleplay is being held, as well as how leadership is being held. And if issues arise, bring it to Site Administration to let them handle them, and only intervene if Site Administration does not do so.
