What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
I bring document writing experience, i specialise in inter-department relations, this can extend to inter GOI relations to create new bonds through joint operations and protocol. Combative and passive roleplay experience, through my time in E-11 i have worked with many GOC tests and events, i bring roleplay with anomalies and other GOIs including foundation and civilians in a noncombative way, this includes R&D field studies performed over a longer period of time, something which is generally not performed on the server.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
Although I enjoy playing foundation and E11, I find it sometimes overwhelming having so many departments all around to try and appeal to and cater for, and while I love looming after anomalies 9 times out of 10 they'd rather go on a killing spree, I'm looking for a role that not only is mote independent but also invites and incentivises more RP, while still having an odd bit of combat when necessary
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The UNGOC was founded in order to ensure the survival of humanity and to protect it from anomalies and the Occult. The very original found was to combat a unit of Nazi Germany called the Obskuracorps, this unit tried to utilize the Occult resulting in the Seventh Occult War. Following this war the UN grew a desire to have its own organization to police the Occult world, formed by 108 member groups, the GOC was born
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS
The Physics division is the action arm of the UNGOC, they handle the investigations, observations and capture / neutralize anomalies. The department consists of two subdivisions, the strike teams, combat engagements, and the assessment teams, investigations
PSYCHE
The Psyche division are the diplomats of the UNGOC, they maintain relations with other GOIs and paranormal groups. Acting as liaisons.
PTOLEMY
The Ptolemy division is the support wing of the UNGOC and consists of scientists and R&D, they also develop new technologies for field use
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
The Global Occult Coalition follows five goals
Survival
the number one priority, the UNGOC must ensure the safety of the human race no matter the cost, even if this means disregarding the other mission statements
Concealment
keeping knowledge of paranormal threats hidden from the public to ensure its protection
Protection
the UNGOC values the lives of its members and civilians and will go to lengths to ensure their remain unharmed, so long as the previous two goals are kept
Destruction
The GOC must destroy any and anomalies, their very existence may be a threat to human survival
Education
The GOC must seek to expand their knowledge of anomalies and study the threats, so long as it does not intrude upon the previous statements

The Seventh Occult War was triggered when the Obskuracorps of Nazi Germany attempted to enact the ritual of soloman, thus granting them massive power, the Allied Occult Initiative combated this force alongside the events of World War Two until the Nazi regime and Obskuracorps came to an end, the events afterwards lead to the modern UNGOC
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
The UNGOC is unique due to its blunt and straightforward approach towards anomalies and their use, they have no alternate motive and seek the protection of humanity. Unique is also their size and scope, backed by the UN and over 100 organisations who study and destroy the Occult, the UNGOC is easily the largest GOI and the one with the most say. Finally their publicity, the UNGOC is not too hard to find and they are more concerned with anomaly Concealment rather than themselves, they are relatively easy to find and join unlike the foundation

Biographical Information:
Being born in the back end of Ireland in the 90s wasn't easy, especially for Sean, if you weren't a Catholic in the town of Gort, you were tough out of luck, and of course, Sean and his family were tough out of luck.
His father was a smart man, he came over from the states and met Sean's mother in Dublin, they moved to the backcountry of county Galway for his father's work, but his mother being atheist and his father being generally mysterious made them outsiders for all of their time in Gort.
Sean's father worked endlessly long shifts, sometimes he wouldn't come back for days, he said he worked in the power plant a few miles away as the head of research and development. One of these shifts became truly never ending, Sean's father simply never returned one day, he ceased to be, on his 18th birthday no less.
After a brief service and discharge from the Irish army following a nasty injury in the shoulder, Sean headed into detective school at the age of 22, he aced his classes and his afterwards his cases, in one year Sean presented testimonials to 35 different cases. Finally after 6 years Sean passed his medical checkup and enlisted into NCO school in the Irish corps, he served for UN peace keeping missions in the balkans and more importantly Lebanon.
During his stay in Lebanon he saw the hatred towards himself and it began to change him, he slowly turned radical, he was hated for the flag above his head which he stood under, a flag that he thought represented peace, a flag of Blue. One cool evening on the route back to base the ground shook, the men in the vehicle froze, Sean, being the highest rank stepped out came face to face with a giant, hulking behemoth of a monster in the distance, tearing apart the vehicles than swerved around it.
They took off in a rush of fear and adrenaline, when they arrived in HQ they saw men in UN uniform, but these where no peacekeepers, these where armed to the teeth, clearly designed to deal some damage. Sean looked on as they geared up in the dead of the night, he was certain they where going to go fight that thing, a supply van full of crates and ammunition was the last to leave the compound, he jumped on board without second thought. Whatever that thing was he was determined to help fight, why should he be sidelined and not serve his flag.
The truck swerved and crashed, an appendage of the beast slammed it to the side, when Sean emerged, rifle in hand, the monster was a lit by flames and floodlights of helicopters above, should stood fearlessly and opened fire into the eyes of the beast, they flinched shut and Sean threw grenades to the legs of the monstrosity that lay before him.
The beast lay twitching, with bones and flesh laid all across the desert floor, he did nothing buy run, if he was caught he'd be discharged and who knows what they would do to him for hopping into that dammed truck, he deserted, and went AWOL.
He couldn't go home, they might might find him too easily, eventually he moved to Canada, after being private eye for a few years he was hired to investigate public records relating to disappearances in a small town called Pinewood. He opened the file and a picture of his long lost father stared back at him.
The next day he had bought the a Pinewood residence and packed his bags. He wasn't even there for a day when the earth shook in the night, he rushed out and he saw, emerging from a valley, the same beast that had tore men to shreds in Lebanon, cars and copters where in pursuit, when the smoke cleared a pair of vehicles drove into town, Sean, looking on from the hilltop, watched as men with uniforms labeled "I.S.D" detained and took away nearly the entire population.
Disheveled and lost for thought he had only one thought, a dream, to return to his glory days of armed service, to go back to the battlefield of that monster, to find out what it was, and how it could be killed. That's when he looked up the flagpole and saw his old blue flag, waiving in the wind, it welcomed him back like an old friend, he would dedicate himself to it once more, until his last breath.
He walked up to the booth at the entrance gate
