What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:​

I believe I am a strong candidate for Overseer Assistant due to my extensive roleplay experience within the FCOM, particularly my time as an O-1 Captain. Through my tenure within O-1, I developed leadership, communication and roleplay skills that I believe are very useful for this role. Moreover, I am a big fan of the SCP universe, meaning I have a solid understanding of the lore.

Leadership​

As a CO I always made sure everyone's opinions were heard and never made major decisions on my own. I value cooperation and communication, but I am also able to put my foot down when necessary. When any issues arose, I handled them fairly and professionally. Additionally, I believe the best leaders lead by example, which makes me try even harder to set a good example for everyone.

Roleplay​

Throughout my time on the server I always played a character, and I believe my portrayal was mostly accurate to the setting and the atmosphere. Moreover, I love writing characters and documents, spending way too much time on them, in hopes that it helps the immersion of other players. I also think my writing skills are good, but there is always room to improve.

Knowledge​

As an O-1 Captain I was held to a high standard when it comes to knowledge of the FCOM. Moreover, I absolutely love the SCP universe and have read a lot of articles. I also often helped new people adapt and regularly taught people about the lore. This experience gave me a solid foundation for more FCOM roleplay.


With all of the above mentioned, I'd also like to mention my maturity and friendliness. I believe CL4 should always be welcoming to new players, and I will do my best to uphold that. As for maturity, though I may not treat everything serious, I am able to differentiate between situations, where you can joke around and situations where being serious is more appropriate, and I think that is the most important quality of maturity.

What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:

Eyes and ears of the Overseer Council​

Overseer Assistants, being a proxy of the overseer council are to report directly to them of anything that may be of interest, making sure they stay up to date with foundation events.

Assist the Overseer Council​

Like the name suggests, Overseer assistants must do any duties given to them by the overseers and complete all their orders. Some of these duties may include; attending meetings in place of an overseer, signing documents, looking over a department, etc.

Managing relations​

Overseer assistants often act as liaisons between the Overseer Council and lower entities like Site Administration. They represent the Council in person and execute their directives.

CL4 Duties​

Overseer assistants, like any other CL4 roles, have duties that come in default with this clearance, such as authorizing Advanced Armory or emergency management of the site (including closing Blastdoors and initiating FSL).

Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:​

I wish to become an Overseer Assistant to take part in higher-level roleplay. Moreover, I would love to get back into FCOM. I already tried the Ethics/O1 part of FCOM, and I wish to try the other side too. I have also grown tired of combative roles and wish to try something more passive.

Another one of major reasons why I wish to become an Overseer Assistant is the ability to create more roleplay. I absolutely love roleplaying, but it is difficult to make an engaging storyline as a CL3. This role would greatly help me in creating more roleplay for myself and others.

The last, and I think the biggest reason, is my love for making documents and writing storylines. I am still an amateur, and I really wish to improve this skill as I really, and I mean really enjoy it.
