Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- I enjoy making fun and thorough research documents that are not involved with sampling SCP's whatsoever. I would like to spread this more creative version of researching further and make RSD effect the behaviour/containment procedures of SCP's more regularly based on how the community plays those SCP's. In addition, I would also like to continue the discontinued therapy trials on SCP-682.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I believe that I am a very trustworthy person and a good researcher. I have been an Executive Researcher position before where I felt I had done very well and I believe I am a very good person to be around newer people on the server and teach them how to play research (and by extension the server to their playstyle)
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- 4 in the past month that I've returned the server, at least 8 on my clipboard. I believe some may have been lost due to wipes of the computers etc.
- An excellent document is a document that not only contains the bare minimum of aims, methods and conclusions; but also expands the test by introducing individual test logs, interview statements, potential risks, control measures for those risks and the most important of all in my opinion, a creative idea behind the test (preferrable with a good reason for doing the test as well)
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- Within RP, Executive researchers are responsible for testing on CL4 SCP's, dealing with any strife caused by members or to members of the Research Department and training Jr. Researchers and Researchers not only how to do basic sampling research. But also to teach them the more intricate behaviours and descriptions of each SCP to allow them to perform new research which can lead to further implementations in the future.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Researcher Rion grew up in the UK in the early 2000's and was selected to join the foundation not only for his scientific mind and thirst for knowledge, but also because his father was employed at Xenobiological Research and Containment Site-91, located in Yorkshire, England. He was recruited into the foundation after he discovered documents of his fathers detailing SCP-4612-B and wrote a short essay, which has been lost to time, on a theory as to why entity SCP-4612-B was able to have increased strength.
After moving to the US and joining Site-56, Rion followed in his fathers footsteps, specialising in SCP's of biological matter; especially ones considered to be sapient. Routinely interacting with high clearance SCP's such as SCP-049 and SCP-076-2, seemingly with no incidents whatsoever. He was quickly promoted to the rank of Sr. Researcher and created several high value documents on sapient SCP's, their behaviours and their thoughts on the world.
