List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:

- Just combat medic

Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: https://prnt.sc/tqqK4qogDhon
- Chem steal - I didn't understand how the chem system worked and my misunderstanding led me to break the rules after taking someone’s flask.
- Innapropriate conduct - I said something inappropriate over OOC and received a ban for it.

- RDM - I killed a d class in incorrect circumstances, as a fellow d class.

Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?:

- Starting off, I originally spent a lot of time on GSD. However, medical piqued my interest as I saw it was much more than getting people back to full health. I've had many positive interactions with the department and across the foundation. After performing countless psych evals, phyiscal evals, prescriptions and even a few combat medic trainings, I believe it's time for me to progress in the department and take my RP further whilst representing a department I'm proud to be a part of.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:

- I am a combat medic specialist, I have carried out at least 2 combat medic trainings/WLs, I have the relevant experience for this part of the role. I am confident in my abilities to perform all the duties that are required of a medical consultant, I am confident to help maintain the high standard of RP and service medical provides by showing good leadership.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
- One key in game medical procedure is a psychological evaluation, oftentimes people take these of their own accord whether they're self referring or they need one for a role they have taken. As a result, psych evals are usually easy to provide as people are usually able to be reasoned with and cooperative. However, when someone is uncooperative, ISD may need to be present and the patient may be needed to give chems such as diazepam and quetiapine to help bring their mental state to a better place. After briefing them on how the psych eval is done and asking their information, you start by asking different question to acertain how they're thinking of themselves, their ability to adapt and work under pressure, their living circumstances and their relations with their department and foundation as a whole. I like to ask relevant questions such as question from the PHQ-9 for depressive symptoms and the GAD-7 for anxiety symptoms. When relevant I also ask questions related to paranoia and psychosis.

The result of a psychological evaluation is often unremarkable and patients do not need to be treated any further, though, there are cases where certain threads need to be unpicked further. For example, if someone mentions alcohol, it would be recommended to see how much they drink and how often. If needed, this history can then be used to work out a treatment regiment for their addiction (usually using anhydrostate) then to offer them counselling and psychotherapy so they can learn to adapt to their impulses and stressors better.

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:

- Consultants’ main responsibility is overseeing medbay under the direction of the DoMs. They help keep things running by directing combat medics and doctors into the RP situations where they are required. Consultant train new medical personnel, they are responsible for medical licensing, combat medic whitelisting and training to other medical combatives such as Nu7. They can also provide guidance to doctors and medics by clarifying procedures and providing advice to other staff. They also help update and improve documents, such as coming up with new procedures and ensuring current procedures/evaluations are up to date.
Consultants also have a specialism they’re a part of, if I was to become consultant I’d like to become a consultant psychiatrist and help reform how we handle mental health and psych evals.

Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

- One minor plotline my character is involved in was, due to the site/info reset, he came in as a transferee from Site 06-3, this site is a living community for high risk humanoid anomalies. A significant amount of the personnel there were anomalous, non-anomalous staff were required to help assist in the containment of Euclid class or higher humanoid SCPs. Though, the site was often quite dull, that’s why Yu Ringo (a fellow CM) and I moved to site 65 for a greater challenge and for a more active role.

Sam has history in psychiatry, he did it as his residency when going through medical school. He has done countless psychological evaluations and is confident that the existing psych eval template needs to be replaced.

Sam also has the codename ‘Thug’ many don’t know the reason behind it and expect it to be due to his behaviour or demeanor, this is not the case. Frequently, Sam has had to “throw hands” with patients who are being combative when receiving psychiatric care, frequently coming out on top and being able to subdue the patient before orderlies assist.
The name ‘Thug’ also represents his unwavering loyalty to his department, he follow direct orders regardless of the law. The medical department know of 2 cases where this has been the case (Sam has been amnesticated both of those times).
