Why are you applying for the Chief of Security?
I love GSD and how it works. It is simple yet still somehow extremely challenging. I have never really done much in an MTF regimen as i always wanted to be a GSD Captain or chief anyways.
I have always seen how many issues GSD is facing. Most people are either a part of GenSec to later move on to an MTF unit or are just a cadet and minging or just being a annoying and generally unuseful waste of space. GSD can be so much more than a transitional period or a job for annoying people. The activity among GSD is quite small. Theres is either 20 people and 4 of them are actually helping out in D-Block or there is no one. This activity needs to be more regulated somehow so that GSD is always present and ready to secure D-Block and to help RSD with testing.
Another reason is the lack of a second Security Chief. This hole needs to be filled and the current chief needs someone else who can help him fix the current issues we have. One single person is not enough to reform this department and enhance the experience of GSD. The fun of being a member of GSD is currently lacking and it needs to be brought back. The roleplay options are slim to none for some GenSec, even sometimes for cl4 personnel the days occur when there is nothing happening in GSD. The way GSD treat D-Class should also be changed. Instead of working against them, it should be a co-existence. We should not engage D-Class in combat but rather in valid roleplay scenarios.
The journey of most players starts as a D-Class and then a GSD, therefore we are the first experience for new player and need to focus on making their experience as enjoyable as possible. The transition from GSD to MTF should also be smooth for them and should be encouraged yet the thought of advancing inside GSD should always be in the back of their minds.
What makes you suitable for Chief of Security?:
I have been in GenSec ever since i first joined the server and have taken part in countless sweeps, battles with CI and GOC and have terminated many D-Class TB's. I am also a very active captain and was a sergeant before that. I was recruited to the role of Captain through a program which swiftly got me promoted and on track to becoming a senior Captain and a "assistant chief" alongside Captain Jimothy. Me and Jimothy have helped the Chief of Security in beginning the reforming of GSD. In my time as assistant chief i have already seen to getting some Security Sergeant tryouts done and so recruiting possible new captains. Some of these sergeants have turned out amazingly and have helped stabilize D-Block and its fluid environment. My long experience in GSD has also taught me that what makes people great isnt just how well they control D-Block or how effective they are at regulating D-Class violence, but rather it is gathering and regulating the behavior of other GSD members.
I hold a firm leadership, i punish people who break the rules but i also help those who dont know them. I am very talkative and also very accepting. I have learned from many different Chiefs and Captains and know how to treat others so that they can flourish and thrive either as a part of GSD or as a part of an MTF-Unit or other departments. I have dedicated almost all my time on CN becoming a captain that is fit to lead GSD into a better future and make Site 65 a more secure and hopefully peaceful place.
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Security in RP?:
- Ensuring that GSD leadership are leading D-Block in a secure and ethical manner.
- Keeping Site Leadership in the loop about D-Block status.
- Recruiting Captains and authorising captains to do SGT tryouts to strengthen GSD numbers.
- Helping to keep the site safe by responding to codes and ensuring the safety of non-combative personnel by closing BD's or letting people into the breach shelter.
- Hosting Meetings for GSD leadership to keep them updated on all decisions.
- Working with other departments to secure the site or push along development.
- Making sure that all non-compliant GSD are treated accordingly.
- Creating documents and reports or reworking old documents.

Please give some lore about your Chief of Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Name: Buddy "Bud" B.
Age:28
Country of origin: Germany
Eye colour: Blue
Hair color: Black
Biography:
Buddy grew up in a big city in western germany, his parents were two hard working people. His mother had come from poland right after the berlin wall fell and his father was from a small rural town in germany. Buddy had excelent grades in school but was always bullied for his extraordinary name. After finishing school, he joined the german army. At this point he recognized how much he liked the uniformity and strictness that was provided there. After climbing the ranks in record time, he qas leading his own squadron. One day while on a two week long mission in the middle of nowhere in Norway, his squadron and the allied Norwegian squadron nearby encountered something they had never seen before. It was a creature of nightmares. He had seen a creature similar to this on one christmas night. The creature was wandering his neighborhood and when he told his parents about it, it had already disappeared. This creature was bigger and evidently stronger though. It had already killed most of the norwegian squadron once it got to his own men. He ordered them to fire everything they had at it. Though noticing very fast that it wouldnt be enough, he lunged at the creature and stuck his knife into its eye and killed it. After just a short while, an unknown helicopter arrived, it had a hammer on its side. After the men studied the creature shortly, they came to him and asked if he had killed it. He answered with a stern "affirmative" and was then taken with them.
Once Buddy arrived at the surface of Site 65, he was quickly welcomed and then introduced to the SCP-Foundation. He was told what he needed to know and after asking him if hed like to join the endeavours of the foundation, he agreed and was later given the clothing and weapon needed for a security cadet. Buddy had probelms with the new personnel and no longer being in charge but had quickly worked his way to a promotion making him a guard. From here on, he quickly passed the RRT and HWL. After acquiring his HWL he decided to focus on the job of containment unit until after some time he returned to the duties of an officer. After gaining experience from multiple captains, he eventually became a Sergeant and after a short while was recruited through the FTO Program. After having been a captain and a Assistant Chief, he participated in multiple events which greatly threatened the security of the site leadership. After making friends with his fellow captains, he also began helping out the MTF in any way he could.
Buddy's Leadership in D-Block became firm alongside his counter part Captain Jimothy. Jimothy had helped Buddy not only as a fellow captain but also as a friend.
Their shared duties as Captains and Assistant Chiefs made them able to lead D-Block and let all members of GSD flourish and also made D-Block a lot easier to be run efficiently.
Thanks to everyone for reading this!
P.S. Good luck with your application Jimothy <3
