Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I believe my knowledge of proper protocol and procedure mean I can ensure others know what to do and how when it comes to the D block. Additionally I have gone as far as I can in the Gensec role without and appointed role and I wish to continue climbing as Gensec as it is a fulfilling and varied but essential role.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
It is my understanding that with my experience in all cl3 and below Gensec roles I have a wide and varied experience as all the roles that would be under a Captains command. This experience allows me to understand where each role from cadet to containment unit should be and what they should be doing at any given time and makes me uniquely qualified to command them. I have both a riot control license and a heavy weapons license which means i have experience as all the cl2 and cl3 roles and gives me the knowledge of what to do in the event of a riot, containment breach or intruder alert. My time as an E11 member means i have a working knowledge of most SCPs and what steps should be taken when they are breached. Combat experience is not an issue either as I also frequently play as a DEA agent and have been in numerous skirmishes with the CI ranging from defending from intruding CI to a surface level assault on them. As an IA Agent, it also gives me a good understanding of the rules and who should and shouldn't be doing what. I believe all this makes me well suited to precede over D block and help cadets understand what to do whilst ensuring everyone knows their role. This will allow me to ensure that D block is organised, efficient and ready for whatever may happen.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
The responsibilities of a Security Captain include ensuring that all Gensec patrolling the correct area and not somewhere they aren't permitted to be. It also requires me to ensure that the testing and medical area is operated properly and without excessive force or unnecessary harm. The captain must also make sure that Gensec aren't doing out of character actions such as running into D block prison area with no real reason or shooting D class who are cooperating. This includes reporting repeat offenders to the necessary staff if verbal warnings aren't heeded.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jeff "Solid" Snake is an upcoming and aspiring Officer who aims to further the foundations goals anyway he can. He has seen lots of combat and while he prefers a peaceful approach, he possesses the necessary skills to take the violent route if needed. He has served in a variety of roles with the foundation but feels his true calling is a member of Gensec because of his strong sense of duty and upholding the law. Naturally he would choose Gensec as they are the all purpose peacekeepers of the facility and while they may not be specialised for anything. This lack of specialisation also allows them to cover a wide variety of bases and have the biggest potential impact. Jeff has a passion for law enforcement and respect the authority and responsibilities his superiors hold and wishes he could be like them one day making a lasting and defining impact on Gensec as a whole.
