Why are you applying for Security Captain?
Well, I was a captain before, and I truly enjoyed the role. I want to show other people within the server how great the general security department can be and help foster a sense of community. I genuinely love meeting new players and guiding them through the basics of the server; it's really rewarding to watch them grow and become something great in our community.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
Most of my time in this server has been dedicated to general security, which has given me a thorough understanding of what Gensec is capable of and what limitations they have. This knowledge positions me well to assist them when they need support, ensuring that we can effectively address potential issues together. My experience means that I can also anticipate problems before they escalate, as I’ve either encountered similar situations in the past or dealt with them first hand. My proactive approach not only helps the team but also fosters a safer environment for everyone involved.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
-making sure d-classes aren't misbehaving and acting accordingly
-Researchers are being assisted with and getting d-classes and the right clearance level gensec for the test they are doing
-leading and conducting a sweep in the D-block in case of a code 2 or possible type blue
-performing riot and heavy weapons licence
-ensuring the safety of the site as site security
-looking out for future applicants for sergeant
-giving work permits to well-behaved D-classes
-assisting in code 5 by sending security containment units and other clearance 3s
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Served in the Royal Marines for about 6 years, deployed 3 times in the Afghanistan war, watched my comrades burn and blow up right in front of me. Couple years later i joined the General Security Department in a top secret facility i climbed the rankes pretty fast. I've spent most of my time as a sergeant in the facility keeping people safe and tacking down who oppose the safety of others.
