Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I thoroughly enjoy playing on Research. Testing is fun and creates an experience for multiple different departments to take part in, for example I did an 035 interview earlier. This included Research, D-Class, GENSEC, E-11 and SCP-035 themselves. It makes up one of the core elements of the server and is usually the gateway for most new players to learn about the server, as D-Class are taken through the site for it. Despite what most people think of it, I really enjoy doing documentation, and believe I would be good to give feedback and help grade other peoples documents in the future, as well as rewarding those who do a good job in documentation.
One of the main reasons I want to be an Executive Researcher is to help others learn in research and create Roleplay situations that allow people to have fun and be creative. I want to help overview testing and give recommendations and assist others in the cool ideas they will need approval for. Not only does it allow me to help other people, but will allow me to expand on my own testing, giving me access to start documenting on the CL4 SCPs, as well as bringing along Sr. Researchers to let them do tests on SCPs usually closed off to them.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I believe I have experience as a Sr. Researcher in performing good tests, knowing correct document format, creating/assisting in Roleplay and helping new Jr. Researchers. I want to expand on these skills and take on a more serious role in the department. I don't minge around on the job or act super unprofessional (we ignore my pitchfork), I can't recall the last time I even had a run in with ISD for a FLC break.
Teaching and helping new people on the server is something I enjoy as well. It can be quite daunting when you first get into RSD as their is so much information. I think I'll be good at guiding new players as well as old players whenever they need. My love of documenting will go well with creating lectures to host to make sure everyone is always up to date on the information we have, as well as creating policy requests for Research.
I also think I can make SCP jobs more enjoyable, trying to make sure there is always testing going on with the SCPs on site, so its less of a waiting for breach simulator. And I mean actual Roleplay not just sampling.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
So far I have written 5 excellent graded documents. I believe an excellent document includes the basics such as:
-Cover Page
-Index
-Testing Aims
-Hypothesis
-SCP Description
-Method
-Safety
-Results
-Conclusion
However just these alone will not grant you an excellent document. It must be formatted correctly and look neat, have correct spelling and grammar and also contain creative testing idea and results. It should be interesting to read and something different to other uploads.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
