Why are you applying for the Chief of Security?
Multiple reasons. Firstly I'd like to change GENSEC as a whole and focus more on the management aspect of the department as well as training and lecturing. I'd like to develop the department into something greater by introducing new routines that can even involve other departments. such as creating opportunities for E-11 and Nu-7 NCOs to host recruitment stands to display their equipment and explain their regiment to GENSEC units allowing them to make an informed choice on which regiment to apply for whilst also allowing the NCOs to practice their leadership skills. I plan on testing RRT and assist ▋▋▋▋▋-▋ and ▋▋▋▋▋-▋Departments to choose the most elite candidates without them having to use their resources etc. These are things I currently cannot influence or begin to do as a captain due to my main responsibilities being fieldwork-based. This is why I am striving to become the Chief.

Additionally, I have been recommended by many people to apply for this role, one of which being Ex-Site Director Igorski and so I want to live up to their expectations and take on the challenge.
-
What makes you suitable for Chief of Security?:
As I have stated in my Captain application. I personally never believed myself to be suitable. I believe others should judge my suitability. I have gained a lot of merit in my time as Captain be it good or bad, but I have shown great interest and care for the department and have helped in many scenarios. In fact. I have already had a discussion with the current chief of security but I'd like to be called the Deputy Chief if I do manage to get this position. All because I believe he is still far more experienced and meritable in comparison to me.

On the topic of merit however, I will make a list on some of the important things I have been doing during my time as captain in order to help gauge my suitability for the role.
-I have been working a lot with the previous Site Director (Igorski) regarding R-3 (Which is now on temporary Decommission/Disbandment, I'm sure CL5 knows the reason for this by now, though I am happy to reiterate it to those who have not heard about it.)
-Hosted meetings with the current CoS,
-Completed documentation work
-Completed Lectures on Code of Ethics, most recent one being due to a extremely unethical shakedown that was lead by a Sergeant (Particularly Section 1,2 and 5 since those involve the GENSEC Department heavily).
-I have also done trainings for the department frequently though not as of late due to other important commitments I have been tasked with.

[I will not state things such as my age signifying my maturity, or my VIP Status promoting my intent to roleplay. those should not be used as a Gauge on my passion for the role.]
-
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Security in RP?:
This I do not know that well. From the overview I've witnessed. It is, The overseeing of the entire GENSEC Department. Host regular meetings with captains and regularly inform Site Administration+ about the department. Manage the roster as well as approve/disapprove applications for the captain position. Train new captains. Train units for RRT. Train units for Heavy Weapons licenses. Manage and authorise documents. And much more I am yet to learn.

Shino Aeschylion. Born in the United States. The child of a Greek man and a Japanese woman. From a young age, Shino had invested a lot of time on the internet daily; Reading posts on Reddit, watching YouTube and playing video games, the usual life of a teenager. One day he stumbled upon the SCP foundation and had a creative flare arise in himself, he began to write his own SCPs and upload them on the SCP Wikidot for the ▋▋-▋▋▋▋▋▋▋ to see. They liked his work as well as his creativity, and to them, he helped conceal the real anomalies by making up fake SCPs of his own volition, a very useful person indeed. Given his immense interest in the foundation, 3 months after Shino had discovered the SCP Wikidot, he received a strange email. To appear at ▋▋▋▋ Rd. 103 [DATA EXPUNGED] Alone at 11:45 P.M. at ▋▋/▋▋/2022. Once the day arrived Shino was hesitant to follow through... "What if I'm going to be kidnapped? or even worse, killed?" He thought to himself. Yet regardless, curiosity overcame him and so he embarked to the location listed in the email. A dark unlit intersection at the very middle of the road... "How peculiar" Shino thought to himself. Lurking in the shadows a 9ft tall figure of unknown origin had emerged... and the next thing Shino knew? His past life was now gone, he was brought into the foundation and most of his past memories were erased and so his career in the GENSEC department began. He began as a mere Cadet on [Site-65] as all prospecting combative individuals were, however, unbeknownst to Shino, this was a trial placed by a certain individual to observe his capabilities, to see if he could rise to the top, to see... If he was worthy... To him, none of this came to mind, all he could focus on was security and leadership. His ambition and competitive spirit exceeded those of the other cadets and allowed him to climb up to the ranks of Captain but that wasn't enough... He wanted to leave his mark and influence the department even after death's arrival to claim him. And so... He became... The Chief of the General Security Department.

Bit of a roudy individual but actually does things as a CPT. Seen him do lectures and yell at GENSEC which is always a plus. Current Chief is a bit inactive so a second one is always good to have. Don't really see many better candidates for this postition.

+ As the current CoS I will have to say that Shino is the most suitable Captain to become CoS.
+ Has already help implement and lead new additions to GENSEC
+ A very promising Captain that could adapt to the new responsibilities of Captain
+ Very efficient Captain when working in and out of D-Block both with RRT and regular GENSEC.

Shino I have no doubt that you are a great captain but also come off as very power hungry and im not sure if thats good fit for such a seniour role, also you seemed to lied about warnings as the RDM warning for RDMing me twice while I was a D-class and you were gensec was not mention here, also severe toxicity which speaks for itself.

Edit: It also seems to me that you lied in your captain application aswell as I don't see the RDM warning there and I remmber that you got it before you got captain

Wouldn't call myself excellent, there are a lot of things I can improve on but I appreciate it.

If I was really power hungry, I would abuse my powers as captain rather than write documents. Work with Site administration and host meetings for the department. Though obviously if I seem that way on the surface please elaborate so I can improve.

As for the RDM incident you are referring to. It was a verbal warning, not an issued one. I already explained calmy in the staff sit my point of view and you really wanted me to be warned regardless of the fact. I had no evidence because my clipping software saves the last 5 minutes and you called the sit after 7 minutes of the incident. From me and the other GENSEC's (I believe he was a Sergeant) point of view as we had already explained, There was a person that had a weapon and walked into a blind spot, you happened to be exactly where we expected him to be, Twice. I apologised in the sit before you even had a chance to bring this up and was telling the staff that yes, I did happened to kill you twice but because we thought you were someone else, both times. Infact, I was so cooperative with them that when they were about to issue me a verbal warning I literally had told them that I had already received a verbal warning and so I was about to be issued a Class A warning instead, They decided to veto the warning after I explained my point of view further. It wasn't a case of me killing you for no reason, You were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Saying that I'm lying about my warnings makes me very disappointed.

"Severe toxicity speaks for itself", Yes it does. My reputation got tarnished after that ban and I've worked my ass off to get even a portion of it back. I don't want to further explain this incident because just thinking about it pisses me off.

Thank you for your feedback.

I don't know what happened after the sit but I do remember that you got a written warning as I saw it pop of on the feed for RDM, it was the captain who received a verbal warning, and even if the warning was reversed I find that very unfair considering you killed a D-Class twice by a hunch you didnt give me any warning or tried to defuse the situation peacefully

Observed nothing but unpleasant experiences with you.

Incident #1

For instance, today I hosted an E-11 tryout where my 4 of my Trainees were on a training.

All Trainees were on a time limit to go to a CC.
My last Trainee, 'Yohra' was going to that CC (three more previously entered the checkpoint).
My CO understandably was frustrated at people blocking the way due to the training being on a time limit.
You then went out of your way to mess up Yohra's entire section of that training by demanding my CO to stop, tranquilizing my CO, putting a stop to Yohra's timed assessment.

Your reckless actions during this were aggressive, and powertripping behaviour.
You did not wait until after it was done after being told multiple times 'it is a tryout'.
You sabotaged a timed assessment.
The entire tryout was halted due to your actions, having to reset back to medbay, along with the 3 trainees who were left at the CC did not know what was going on.
Yohra was left on his own to wander around in HCZ since he probably thought his escort was behind him, giving him the layout of HCZ.
You could probably argue that everything up to the tranq was justified due to breaking code of ethics (I don't agree), however the escalation and the way you handeled that entire situation, along with the overly aggressive tone of voice for seemingly no apparent reason over something so small which you made into a massive deal, which could be handeled later was just seriously uncalled for.

Proof: https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/tfRa9nW1mmgSS/d1337dbXp7DC?invite=cr-MSxvSmMsNTc5MzIzMTMs

Incident #2

We also had an event where there was a black box in 914 (yesterday if I remember correctly) & all I could feel from you is negitive energy, you wanting to use your power and yelling at people.

--

tldr

I understand you're a Captain and you need to order people, but I personally believe you need to fix your attitude and the need for power before becoming Chief of Security. You always seem to be on edge, always wanting to use your power on others unreasonably, at any given chance.

I personally find it unpleasent to be around your space, and I'd rather have a Chief of Security who is strict, but also approachable and someone who I can ask for feedback without feeling like it's my abusive dad.

Okay, I understand your frustration and that's why I ultimately let him go do the tryout, Your CO was throwing his weight around ordering my sergeant to move out of his way instead of going through the routine ID Check, I don't care if he was "doing a tryout" he is not excused from being ID Checked, He resisted arrest and insulted my Sergeant, Viktor katona and I believe Cody Torvalds were there and also witnessed this situation. I was enforcing the Code of Conduct and Legal codex in that encounter as that is my job. That is was security is about, Ensuring people are not infiltrators is part of security. You all tried to tell me to leave it to IA even though your CO broke CoC and LCC right infront of me and my men. If you're telling me thats powertripping behaviour then I suggest you look at your CO that just ran through the checkpoint like it's nothing.

If you were doing a timed training you should have notified us as there was no way for us to know, The only thing we knew about that tryout was that Lower LCZ was locked, Nothing else.

I gave him multiple warnings while he was fleeing and he did not abide by those warnings which is why I used my tranquilizer.

As for that event. I was the first one on the scene, and I was just trying to take the initiative for the event since nobody else was giving orders or doing anything, My orders were directed to my Sergeants that were present, and the Nu-7 Enlisted decided to follow suit and when a CO like Jambon arrived to the scene and tried to enter the restricted area I suggested him not to, I don't think I'm power tripping by giving my own men orders. The others decided to listen to my suggestions because they had no idea what was going on in the event as well as no CO that was actively giving them orders.

I apologise for causing you to feel like this but I believe I did absolutely nothing wrong. I'm perfectly approachable if you need to talk to me about anything and I'm as strict as I can be.

Thank you for your feedback

- Your behaviour isn't power hungry like others say. I believe your behaviour is closest to a know-it-all, pompous, scrapper and even sadic in some situations that leads to unpleasant encounters.

Hello Shino. I am going to give you a +support, but I'd also like to point out some things that, in my most humble opinion, may help you improve.

- You need to be more approachable. Most of the negative support you got spun around your tone and attitude. If you tried to be serious but sound slightly more understanding, people may change that opinion of you.

- Temper. Sometimes, when you're angry, you explode rather quickly, like at the last Ethics Meeting you hosted for GENSEC. As a Sr. Position, you need to keep your cool at all times, even when reprimanding someone.

Nevertheless, you're the most active GENSEC CL4 Person, and you have great rule knowledge and a great sense of justice among many other virtues, so I believe you deserve the position. Best of luck!

Both of you, I thank you so so much for this critical feedback, I do understand that I am sometimes over the top and I am currently improving myself. My Temper is my biggest downside, I will work hard to make myself more understanding and approachable to others and will try to remain cool at all times even when dealing with obnoxious people.

This is the type of Constructive criticism I hoped for, Thank you both for pointing these out to me.
- Additionally you look really susceptible and grouchy in the - supports replies
As for this, Mainly because the two previous -supports I received annoyed me slightly, the first one was an accusation and the second one was irrational. I also hate when people use the word "power hungry", This role if anything shifts my focus into the management and nurturing of new captains and the department as a whole, Being chief of security does not mean I will have the authority to order people outside of my department and even so, That is not the reason I am applying for it. I honestly just want to improve the department and assist the current Chief.

However, both of you have given me amazing feedback that I can reflect upon. Making me aware of my flaws allows me to work on them and I genuinely appreciate these replies so much.

Thank you. I have many plans for gensec alongside with Nate and with his current inactivity due to personal reasons I am trying to step up as soon as possible to assist.
