Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:500154066
Discord name: Texas orange
For how long have you played on CG SCP: About 1 and 1/3 years
Age: 15
In what country are you located?: United States of America
Time zone: Eastern Standard Time
Character name(s): 'Shortstop' (Hoping to change F name to 'Ombudsman' if I get OSA)
Civilian name: 'Stopshort'
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP UK
Do you have a mic?: Yes, I use a mic. I used to not, so some people might still think I don't. Ask CI if you don't believe me.
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
-CI DELCOM (Holding, 6 monts), O-1 LCPL (Held for 1 month about ~1 month ago), GSD Security Captain (Holding, less than 1 month), E-11 SPC (Held twice over 6 months ago), Nu-7 PVT (Held over 6 months ago)
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
-Across all my time playing, I've accumulated 21 warns, total. My three most recent warns are Nov 13th, for FearRP (honestly don't remember this one), June 11th for Job Abuse (Switching to CI Jugg during a raid on CI base. Notably, I believed that because all of DEA/Nu-7 had left, it was okay to switch jobs. I admit I was wrong.), and May 30th for FailRP (Cannot remember). While 21 may seem like a lot, as you can see, most of them have expired, aside from my most recent on Nov 13th. This means that, officially, I have 1 warn.
What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
-Experience server-wise, my ability to lead others, such as within CI, and my skill at making documents, very important tools for OSA's to have. Also, (prior to a week ago), I've held a 5 month record of never getting kidnapped (on CI). With how often CL4 (namely consultants) get kidnapped, this feels important to mention. Within CI, I have held several "command" positions, including leading the R&D subdivision ~3 months ago. With this, I've created several documents within CI, and am still working on some, even after R&D's liquidation. Within CI, I am well known for leadership, and am currently closing in on 1 month with a CI command position (including Delta PLP). My leadership that comes with this position, in my opinion, makes me a great candidate for OSA.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
-OSA are to carry out the dirty work of O5, such as dealing with personnel, representing the voice of the council when they need to, and enforcing the councils decisions on the site. Less "1984-y" duties of OSA's is monitoring the site and reporting anything important they see to O5 members, ordering A-1, and representing the O5 council in meetings that the O5 themselves don't want to attend, as a sort of "I don't want to go, so I'll send my less important assistant!" dynamic. OSA's are also to order the site in a manner similar (but notably different than) the way O5 does whenever O5 is unavailable, offsite, or otherwise incapacitated.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
-'Ombudsman', officially Dr. William D. Fritz, is a defector from the Chaos Insurgency from rank Delta. As an ex-CI, he has experience with leadership, dealing with people who need silenced, and overall, doing the dirty work of CI DELCOMs. Eventually, he got ordered to kill a group of Gammas and frame them as treasonous, all because they backtalked a DELCOM, and decided to defect after realizing that, if he were to slip up, a similar fate would fall upon him, or worse. Instead of immediately defecting to the Foundation, he, at first, decided to defect to the UNGOC, taking several key documents to the UNGOC, as well as leading to the takeover of several key insurgency cells. Unfortunately, during a foundation raid on the UNGOC base he was stationed at, he was taken hostage, and declared MIA. The UNGOC saw him as "lower than them" as an Ex-CI member, and refused to negotiate his release. Fortunately, instead of killing 'Ombudsman', the foundation saw opportunity, and instated him as a Secretary to Site Advisor [REDACTED]. After a long time, he eventually climbed the ranks, and is now applying for Overseer Assistant.
This lore would involve 'Ombudsman' in plots against other GoI, due to his experience within those GoI, as well as his information with those GoI (Grammatical: The acronym would not change to include an s, since that would spell Group of Interests), as well as involve him in disinformation campaigns, due to his CI experience. Overall, "1984-y" stuff and events related to it would be in his line of work. It would also, due to his lack of bias, involve him judging members of other GoI, as a sort of Ombudsman, following his nickname.

Hi @Shortstop

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and give you till 24/11/2023 18:00 GMT to work on this application.

At this moment in time the application is of a very low quality and I know you can do better.

Many thanks,

O5-1
I've made edits to make it significantly longer, thank you for the opportunity to do so, instead of denying my application instantly. Since I've got until the 24th, do you have any other changes or ideas I should make or add? I'm hoping for good advice. (sry for the notification)
