For how long have you played on CG SCP: playtime of approx 350 hours, not exactly sure but maybe 3-4 months?
Age: 20
In what country are you located?: Germany
Time zone: GMT+1
Character name(s): Jeremy Siens
Civilian name: Jeremy Siens
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): UK
Do you have a mic?:
-Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
-Former CI-A(USA), Current O1 PVT(UK), Executive Researcher(UK)
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
-one kick because of AFK during an even, one failrp warning for a meme tape i put on a projector
What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
-I belive myself to be a suitable candidate for this position because of my extensive CL4 experience as an executive,a position which requires a lot of interaction with every department and regiment. I am especially familiar with the workings of IA and thus, the CoC and the CoE, i also took part in drafting the new Research dpt. Policies to clear up some grey areas left by these rulesets. I also have extensive external roleplaying experience through other mediums like Tabletop, with a minor stint in creative writing which has bled into my documents, which i believe to be consistently some of the best written. Aside from normal departmental interactions, i also hold a large role within the current S-1 project done by one of our research divisions, being responsible for the vetting and questioning of candidates, an interaction i have logged in the collaborative RP logs.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
-The Overseer assistant serves as a delegate from the Overseers themselves, making sure their orders get carried out appropriatley and monitoring any situations that may be relevant for them. They also serve as the main angle of communication with the council often, relaying messages or the desire for a meeting if appropriate. In The Absence of the O5 the Assistants assume temporary command of internal security A1 to maintain the site and appropriatley deal with any situations as they emerge. They likely will also keep eyes on any projects the Overseers task them with, if they do not directly do so themselves.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
This part is copied from my previous Bio for my Exec application, this is largely what he is, and not what he could be after being accepted
Jeremy Siens, born in Leipzig, Germany ,entered service for the foundation through one of their internship programmes, where he and several other potential applicants were probed on their ability to work with and understand foundation technology, specifically memetic agents. Effectively the entrants were to be subtly guided to "discover" and develop these, same as the foundation did. Those who failed to distinguish themselves in the programme were amnesticized of their involvement and let go, entrants that seemed to hold potential however were offered a junior position at the foundations Site DE-4, specialized in memetic and infohazard containment, before filing a transfer request to site 65 to begin writing his graduating thesis on SCP-860, during which he began to appreciate the site and staff and Requested his transfer to be made permanent, which was accepted. He Notably often works together with Executive Researcher Broda Kagen. He may end up involved in story lines in regards to failing containment procedures, wherein the research staff would attempt to alter them to prevent catastrophic containment failure.
He approaches all anomalous issues with a certain hard-science attitude which often clashes with some of the more illogical SCPs, especially reality warpers, who he has grown to dislike, thus he may also be involved in any containment or termination development for said reality warpers, in addition, he despises the GOC.
To expand on this, since the start of his tenure as Executive, he has been testing extensively and deepened his understanding of the anomalous and the inner workings of the foundation, having worked several times under direct order from The Council members, aswell as participating in the rarely occuring surface research during exceptional occurrences, and has been ransomed and kidnapped back and forth. While Jeremy maintains a strict adherence to the CoE, this is not because of any moral urge to comply, and instead just self interest, relentless losses during experimentation have dulled his sense of right and wrong, and while he is generally polite and courteous, he has no qualms about morally questionable testing in the pursuit of knowledge and containment.
He ultimatley believes the foundation to be humanities best bet for surviving and thriving in a world filled with the anomalous and has grand hopes for the eventual development of a "unifying theory of the anomalous" thus, he would be interested in furthering any projects that ensure the foundations prosperity, continued existence and scientific understanding.
While he has great hostility towards factions that actively threaten the foundation and anomalous objects, such as the Insurgency or the GoC, he is very much ambivalent towards anomalous factions that do not seek the destruction of the foundation, only opposing individual actions, such as the GAW, AWCY and the Serpents hand, only opposing them when they directly choose to fight the foundation.
He is a genuine believer in the foundation as a necessary evil to ensure mankinds prosperity, so plotlines that would test peoples loyalty, such as horrible well kept secrets being revealed about some of the most immoral actions the foundation has ever undertaken would suit him well.
Furthermore, he belives that containment is a means to an end, not an end in and of itself, he belives should the anomalous be understood and made harmless, that slowly, the entirety of the world ought be enlightened to the truth of the world. He thinks the potential loss of manpower and brainpower due to the necessity of the facade of normalcy causes Humanity to have a severe disadvantage against anomalous forces that inadvertendly or intentionally may destroy it.
His muddled moral compass may also serve as a good element of storylines, perhaps when explaining the harsh realities of the foundation to new employees.
