Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
My main goal in becoming a Site Advisor is to gain experience in a more senior administrative role and work my way up to earning the rank of Ethics Committee Member. Aside from this, I also think I will be able to contribute to the Site Administration and possibly something that I will end up enjoying.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
1. I think I'm quite an easy-to-talk-to person, I tend to be a quite good listener and have my way of working with people in hopes of de-escalating situations or simply ensuring both sides are happy with the decided outcome. I believe this is important for the role, as Site Advisors must handle disputes or reports daily.
2. I'm not someone who gets influenced easily; I can stand by my own views on a situation, but I am open to listening to others and potentially changing sides based on the evidence. This is related to Site Administration, as I assume many discussions occur between them, including promotions/demotions, policy changes, etc.
3. As a researcher, I've been able to create Good/Excellent graded documents (this was a while ago now), and just recently, I have created some documents for the Ethics Committee to be used by other ECAs. (For the Ethics Committee document, it was mostly walls of valuable text, as my formatting on Google Docs is not that crazy.)
4. I understand the site policies and usually most of the handbook-related information. I will say there is a lot of information to take down, so some of it is very hard to find, but I am always able to look for it and verify the material to ensure it's valid. (If I had to say, I think I understand and remember around 90-95% of the actual policies)
5. It may not be seen that way, but throughout my time as an ECA, I have learnt to be somewhat of a leader. I have given orders to O-1, represented the Ethics Committee in meetings, and even brought other ECAs into the fold when the situation called for it. I won't exaggerate it, as most of it has been occurring recently due to the addition of a personal assistant, but I will also be leading a division in Ethics to assist them further.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
Like in my previous application, I will list them in different sections:
1. Active Codes
- During active codes, Site Administration is responsible for ensuring that respective site personnel are responding to the code. This would mean that they ensure during Code 1: Nu-7 and DEA are actively responding to it (alongside other available combatives), Code 2: GSD are dealing with the riot (alongside other available combatives), Code 3: E-11 are actively containing the contamination while other combatives ensure non-combative staff interact with it. Code 4: E-11 are actively looking into it, and Code 5: E-11, but also any available combatives, are responding to the breaches and delegating their men to assist.
- Activating Teslas, FSL and calling for ERT. This should be done by adhering to Site Policies, especially those regarding FSL.
- Engage a Code Black if necessary: This should only be done if it is safe to evacuate and the safety of site personnel is believed to be at risk. (This is at the discretion of the Site Admin) - Also ensuring that the maintenance path is taken for evacuation according to FSL policies.
- Authorisation of AA, this is usually authorised by the Site Admin to decide the appropriate amount of AA to deal with the threat accordingly. (This can also be authorised by E-11 Major+)
2. Day-to-Day Duties
- Being available for any complaints, questions or simply general assistance needed from a member of SA.
- Check how departments are operating, and if there are any general policy violations from departments. This can be dealt with via ISD, but can also be handled simply through a chat.
- Have an eye out for GoI relations and communications. - Reporting any issues to DEA liaison from SA
- Keeping track of trainings, as some areas become an active zone for training. Making sure proper precautions are taken to close off the area and prevent the risk of unexpected casualties.
- Acting as a Department's/Regiment's Liaison, usually being their first point of contact for any troubles they may have that require SA assistance. (also attending their meetings if possible)
3. Reviewing Departments
- Looking over Departmental/Regimental Command - This is to be aware of individuals who might look for a promotion, but also be aware of any issues that may pop up with them.
- Investigate any complaints regarding departments, handing of the report to the respective department liaison from SA, but also assisting them if required.
- Investigate a failure within a department; this should be done if you're the liaison for said department. (This can be done through Audits and Reviews)
4. Miscellaneous
- Looking for Policies created for the Site as a whole and Departmental/Regimental policies.
- Fulfilling any orders created by other Site Admin or possibly FCom
- Presenting yourself as a role model
- Dealing with Google Docs, and filling them out or assisting with general feedback for whoever is creating one. This would mostly relate to any documents regarding policies. This also applies to in-game documents that are usually pinned on the corkboards, ensuring accessible information is up to date and easy to read.
Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- Born in the UK, Thomas Specter was fully raised there and decided to study abroad by moving to the USA. The subject he chose was History, always invested in the actions of the past and applying earlier concerns to his own actions.
- With his knowledge, he would apply to join the military through the Intelligence Corps. This was made possible by his master's degree in History, during which he received most of his training in intelligence gathering and planning.
- He would join the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, getting more resources to work with and actually work with Commanders and other partners in the Intelligence Community. SCP Foundation would begin monitoring him due to reports of mission success and a name that kept popping up.
- After seeing the man in action themselves, the SCP Foundation would begin the recruitment process. Slowly explaining the anomalies and how they wanted to utilise his tactical prowess in assisting them. As a test, Thomas Specter was given access to specific SCP Documents, learned every small detail about them, and was then shown footage from an ERT unit. He would be asked what decisions he would make based on his knowledge, and that would be compared to the action shown. Most of the time, he would agree with the footage, but at times, he was either unable to answer or disagreed with the action. This wouldn't be seen as a fail, but it opened the door to a potential operative leading members of ERT into sites and having them advised by others.
- Over time, Tom would show his value by statistically improving the efficiency of ERT - the difference may not be considered massive, but an improvement is still great in the eyes of the foundation. This resulted in him being recognised and offered a position as a Site Advisor on one of the SCP Foundation's more dangerous sites.
- The character would know the value of teamwork and its importance, so I believe this character will be involved in improving relations. Aside from this, the character will appear mostly friendly in day-to-day situations but may seem cold and calculating when dealing with codes and departmental issues, leading to harsh action.

Note: I don't know if I missed any details but I hope I managed to get it all in there. Sorry for the long read, I pretty much attempted to put all my knowledge in there - if there are any issues feel free to point them out for an edit (I don't think there is any)
