Q: Why are you applying for Security Captain?
A:
I am applying for the position of Security Captain because I have observed the responsibilities of a Captain over time whilst playing as GSD myself and I have taken a lot of note of how their leadership contributes to the efficient functioning of GSD, aswell as them working closely under the Chief of Security (CoS). I believe that this role would fit me well with my capabilities as I am a dedicated and self-controlled leader, ready to confront challenges and embrace adventures while maintaining a strong commitment to the being of the entire GSD. In this manner, I would oversee those in lower ranks such as guard, cadet and so on, ensuring they work in accordance with all GSD procedures, aswell as the established principles and guidelines such as the legal codex and so on. To further elaborate on my quality, the motivation I hold to apply for Security Captain came from my experience as a highly professional & prolificient GSD officer who is still well-versed in the roles of RRT (before being renamed) and SCU. I possess a comprehensive understanding of GSD protocols and procedures and I hold the Heavy Weapons Licenseand Riot Response License which is an underscoring detail to my dedication for GSD. I believe that my qualifications and leadership skills would make me an ideal candidate for this position.
As a side note, I have actively participated in riot response and control as SCP-912, providing me with valuable insights into the workings of sweeps and shakedowns, as well as the leadership role that Captains play in guiding their teams.
Q: What makes you suitable for Security Captain?
A: I believe I am competent for the role of Security Captain due to my active involvement & activity within GSD and SCP RP as a whole. My experience and maturity make me a strong and independent leader for those who view me in that capacity. I prove myself being professional and consistently dedicated to my responsibilities within GSD, even though I may not be the brightest star amongst other GSD members and or captain applicants or even or SCU members. I believe that my daily contributions are essential in maintaining the high standards I uphold, not only within GSD but also in other departments such as Research, IA, and Logistics.
Q: What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?
A: Some of the responsabilities of a Security Captain in RP are things like maintaining the flow of tryouts for things like Heavy Weapons Licenses, Riot Response Licenses and so on, Security Captains also uphold the responsability of controlling & staffing D-Block personnel such as GSD personnel,, they do this by assigning duties, supervising those who are in grounds for mentoring, partaking in duties within airlock, guard tower and so on, they also have to be in control for Code 2 situations and can assist in Code 5s. They also uphold the responsability of being the right hand of the Chief Of Security, as they are under them in the GSD Chain of Command. They also uphold a responsability to order SCU & HCZ units to go sweep or patrol along with E11 if needed, deal with CL2 & CL3 personnel if needed as they are CL4 members and aditionally write documents for their own good or for the research purpose within GSD (things like reports, sweep transcripts and so on.

Subject: "Skinner Verdane"
Skinner Verdane, commonly referred to as Skinner, currently operates as a Security Containment Unit & General Security Officer for Site-65. He has no official codename or aliases and his professional background is confined to two departments within Site-65. Initially, he worked in the General Security Department as an Officer and began focusing more to his current role of a Senior Researcher in order to be at the position he is today of an Executive Researcher, with the utmost goal of working towards becoming a Security Captain after obtaining that role. Skinner Verdane is a male individual, standing at approximately 187 cm in height and weighing 122 kgs. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and wears specialized glasses to address an undisclosed vision impairment. His medical history is unremarkable, with no documented instances of drug usage, medications, or medical treatments and it should also be noted that most of his childhood was never recorded by any official being, he had no previous history or links that his parents had been involved in anything, which further reinforced the inability for past history about his childhood to be documented. Within Site-65, Skinner Verdane has a minor history of infractions recorded by the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA). Beyond the Foundation though, he possesses an undisclosed criminal record with no details available regarding its nature or the reason for his inclusion in the D-Class program. He was part of a convoy involving 22 Canadian inmates from the Toronto South Detention Centre (SVC). It was noted that the operation was a collaborative effort between the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Foundation's Department of External Affairs (DEA) unit. Originally intended for a different purpose, it was later repurposed to recruit additional D-Class personnel for research across various foundation related sectors such as biohazard research, SCP subject testing and so on.
Upon his arrival at Site-65, Skinner Verdane was assigned the designation number D-2849 and was granted residence in the D-Class Sector. He then went on to participate in a series of experiments involving Safe Class SCPs, primarily those deemed non-hazardous to human subjects. In addition to these documented tests, Skinner also engaged in various undisclosed and potentially hazardous assignments within the testing sector of the foundation (mostly inside of Light Containment). The specific nature of these tasks and experiments remains undisclosed to this day. It is noteworthy that Skinner successfully survived all these tests and assignments, earning recognition for his performance. As a result, he garnered attention as a potential candidate for a role within the Department of Research, demonstrating the necessary qualifications and suitability for further opportunities within the Foundation.
With his invitation to the Department of Research, he contributed not only to research but also worked closely with many of the required fields. However, after reaching the position of Executive Researcher, he felt that GSD needed his attention. Consequently, he began working towards becoming a Security Captain.
His plan to become a Security Captain was straightforward: first, he needed to enhance his combat skills and physical appearance/maintenance. He engaged in rigorous Physical Training and Live Combat Training to improve his reflexes, general attitude, ability to handle risky situations, as well as his use of force and trigger discipline. Additionally, he committed to daily GSD duties, whether it involved Security Containment, general escorts, or maintenance as a Security Officer. He always strived for excellence, paying close attention to the smallest details to achieve the highest performance and recognition from others. Currently, there is no recorded history of how he gained that role, but it is estimated he had been invited at a position higher than CL1 for GSD, and worked from there to achieve Security Officer aswell as the current history of positions he has in GSD today.
With this in mind, should I (the writer, Skinner Verdane) be given the opportunity to become a Security Captain or hold a chance at it, I shall partake in the following stories & lore segments that will continously develop my character as a Captain:
