Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
After several months of OSA, I wish to move forward within the servers ranks. And I believe that Site Administration is the right path forward. I wish to learn, grow alongside and assist in the servers ongoings. I have grown quite interested in the inner workings of site Administration, their reach and management, and the roleplay that the position creates. As a member of site administration, you have more reach, duties and independent freedom than an assistant. I wish to experience that new part of the server.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
Over the past eight months, I have spent a majority of my time being an Assistant, alongside that, a member of staff. I believe that I can bring good roleplay and new blood into Site Administration, my characters are deeply intertwined within various departments of site. Besides that, I have been a member of the SCP community for over 9 years. The story, general lore and other miscelanious pieces are something I am deeply familiar with.
I am capable of creating decent looking documents within the ingame document tools, as long as I am provided with a vague idea of what is required. I also quite enjoy routine maintenance tasks most people find tedios, such as re-checking codes, manually moving information from spreadsheet to spreadsheet, and such.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
Site administration handles many things.
They work alongside DEA in the handling of Issues, Disputes, Policies and Relations between the foundation and any external GOI's. Ensuring the foundation keeps their hand steady within the innerworkings of the anomalous world.
They also handle the Issues, Disputes, Policies and Relations between and within internal site departments. Enrusing everything runs smoothly, that policies are up to date, and that they are fair on everybody. They listen to the complaints, issues and problems that members of site may be having, and work together alongside department leaders and eachother to find solutions to everything, and ensure that the site keeps running smoothly. This is why being up to date on site events is also important.
They handle Issuing new policies, and the withdrawal of old, outdated ones. With this, they also handle the creation and destruction of the appropriate paperwork.
They have the duty of authorising tests revolving around 008, the ability to authorise a passive breach if it is requested, and the SCP is not hostile, and they have the ability to authorise the lockdown of specific sections of site, should it be required for the assurance of safety during crosstests, samplings of 008, and unknown anomalies.
They Liason with different departments each month, so that each department has a member of SA who they can reach out to, and be able to get a quick reply. This also helps SA watch over said department, and notice issues better.
They have the ability to authorise AA, should it be needed during breaches, if worst comes to worst, ERT as well. They also have the responsibility to ensure Comms are clear and helpful during a code, and that noncombatives are safe, and not interfering with the breach.

In general, Katherine Gears is a timid sounding woman, small in both stature and seemingly voice. But give her a problem to solve and she is dedicated, and will not stop until she has gotten to her goal. Even in a new world of the scary, the strange, and the anomalous. She will speak up when needed, and is not afraid to set the record straight, should she find it neccesary.
