Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I’m applying for Site Advisor because I want to be more involved in how the Site is run and actually contribute more than I currently can. I’ve spent a good amount of time on the server, and I’ve gotten a better understanding of how different departments interact and how important Site Administration is for keeping everything running smoothly.
One of the main things that interests me is being able to take part in and help create roleplay scenarios that actually feel meaningful. I’ve noticed that passive RP has been improving a lot recently, and I think this is something worth building on even more. I’d like to help keep that going and make interactions feel more realistic and engaging for everyone.
I also want the responsibility that comes with the role. I’m interested in improving how I handle situations, staying fair when making decisions, and working with others in a more official capacity. I know Site Advisor isn’t just about authority, but about being reliable and helping where it’s needed, which is something I try to do already.
Overall, I think this position would let me contribute more to the server while also helping me improve myself, especially when it comes to communication, organization, and handling different situations properly.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
From my time on the server, I’ve built a good understanding of how different departments function and how Site Administration ties everything together. I’ve seen how important it is to keep things organized and running smoothly, and I feel confident that I could step into that role and adapt quickly. I’m always willing to learn more and improve where needed.
Activity:
I’m consistently active, Because of that, I believe I could help cover those quieter periods and make sure situations are still handled properly. I’m also fine with putting time in outside of the server if something needs to be dealt with.
Leadership:
I approach leadership in a straightforward and fair way. I don’t rush decisions, and I prefer to understand the full situation before acting. I can stay level-headed in stressful situations and focus on resolving issues rather than making them worse. I also respect input from others and take it into account when making decisions.
Resilience and Work Ethic:
I’m able to stay focused even when multiple things are happening at once. I try to prioritize tasks properly so everything gets handled efficiently. If something doesn’t go right, I don’t get discouraged—I adjust and keep going. I also take feedback seriously and use it to improve, rather than ignore it.
Overall, I believe my consistency, mindset, and ability to handle responsibility make me a strong candidate for Site Administration, and I’d aim to support both the team and the community as much as possible.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
Aside from overseeing the Site and making sure everything is running properly, a Site Advisor has a range of responsibilities.
They are expected to monitor all departments and ensure they are meeting the required standards. If a department is not performing as expected, the Site Advisor can step in, review the situation, and help bring it back up to standard together with Site Administration.
Site Advisors are also involved in selecting and overseeing department leadership, such as Directors, making sure the right people are placed in the right positions. Another key part of the role is creating and supporting roleplay scenarios, including those involving Groups of Interest or special testing situations, while keeping everything balanced and structured.
In addition, they help maintain relations with external groups when needed and ensure interactions stay controlled and realistic. Documentation is also an important responsibility, including writing reports, policies, and other materials that meet a high standard.
They may also be required to authorize certain actions when necessary, such as the use of advanced equipment by MTF units or larger-scale decisions like ERT deployments or site-wide lockdowns
Finally, a Site Advisor is there to support both departments and individual players, offering guidance, resolving issues, and helping wherever needed to keep the server running smoothly and professionally
Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
My character would be a long-serving Foundation staff member who has worked their way up through multiple departments, gaining experience in both field operations and internal administration. Over time, they became known for staying calm under pressure and being able to handle difficult situations without escalating them unnecessarily. Because of this, they were eventually assigned to Site Administration to help maintain order and support overall operations.
In terms of personality, my character is more reserved and professional, focusing on efficiency and clear communication rather than authority for its own sake. They believe that a Site runs best when departments work together properly, and they aim to support that by coordinating between different branches and stepping in when things begin to fall apart.
For storylines, my character would mainly be involved in overseeing and managing complex situations, such as containment breaches, internal conflicts between departments, or negotiations with Groups of Interest. They would also take part in authorizing and supervising cross-testing scenarios, ensuring they remain controlled but still interesting from a roleplay perspective.
Additionally, I would like to explore storylines where my character has to make difficult decisions under pressure, such as choosing between saving personnel or preventing a larger containment failure. This would allow for more serious and immersive roleplay, while also giving other players something to react to.
