What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Add some sort of requirement for United Kingdom staff to staff on the US server. I don't care if they do tickets that are helping people, but I mean actual staff tickets that involve getting someone in trouble, or for minor cases like names or crossfire situations. Now why do you say this, prox? UK staff are literally not liked on the US server by the majority of players right now because they make rulings that are either ignored or SL say are wrong because they don't know how things are done on the United States server. So, generally, to outline what should happen. UK staff should have some sort of time requirement on the US server to be able to staff on it. Just like any other US staff have to when they actually apply for the position. Alternatively, I guess SL can just have their own requirement they make.

Note: I think its fine if they handle issues of blatant racism, MRDM, ETC. I am mostly speaking in terms of smaller issues, for example, a hostage getting shot in crossfire, Certain Naming things, ETC.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Probably, but likely a long time ago

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
UK Staff maybe more liked on the United States Server
Less misinformation gets spread out about certain rules
Less issues with staff members who don't really know what the normal and rulings are for the US Server

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Less staff around, maybe

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
The issue we have currently is that bad rulings are being made to the point where some people are straight up just requesting Server Leadership when a UK staff member makes a ruling on the United States Server. This has personally happened to me, where I also did the same, and the SL had to correct the UK staff. Which, by the way, was for a minor issue that was not reported. Thus, making UK staff more trustworthy and decreasing the spread of misinformation is why I think this suggestion should be accepted.

The rules are the same on both servers. This entire suggestion can be sorted with making a complaint.

The entire "uk staff gg" thing is ridiculous.

Staff aren't immune to making mistakes. They can happen with USA or UK staff. Just make a complaint where SL review it.

If the complaint is in your favour, the staff member learns.

If it isn't, then you know not to do what you did again.

All you're suggesting here is to make it more difficult for staff to hop on when there's no staff. Don't mix, don't third person peek.

Hi! There is always going to be some cultural diversity when you are online, Culture and laws were considered when rules were made. Staff Members handle rule-breaks indiscriminately. If you believe there are some issues with a staff teams judgement then I encourage you make a report on the staff member through the Complaints section on the forum:

Members of staff on UK are the same staff as the members of staff on the US, so please respect their authority and try to not break server rules.

I don't know if this is like stated but it truly does not seem so. Exmaple: I had an UK Staff tell me that GoC Attaches cannot use code names and that they didn't in the UK Server (Such as only having the codename in your name) Server Leadership had to tell them that it was allowed on the US server

Staff complaints won't do much in the way of "This guy made a bad ruling that got immediately corrected because I had to contact SL or higher staff to check their credibility." That really seems like it's going to either be "Sorry this happened, but he didn't do anything inherently wrong" or its a slap on the wrist

Additionally, note this is saying they should be able to handle normal things like MRDM, Racism ETC. They should not be able to handle the minor issues that are loved to be pocket watched for some reason. (Example such as name cons, crossfire, ETC.) The exception should be unless they are actually reported. I think if its reported then someone has actually taken an issue with it, but if its not bothering anyone and its small things that usually have different clarifications from SL they should not handle them less directly reported

As stated several times in this post, Rules are the same across servers. To reiterate, US and UK share rules and rulings, However some factions or departments may act differently based on the dictation of US and UK FCOM, SSL, SL.

Rulings made by UK SL are as equally valid on US as if US SL made rulings on the UK server.

Rulings however should only be made by SL, If non SL are doing this, Please raise it to a complaint.

We will not be adding any form of time requirement to be able to staff on the US nor the opposite as the staff team is one whole team.

Complaints despite popular belief, do mean something, Just because a staff member is not removed over making an incorrect call does not mean they are free of punishment.

Regards, SSL.
