Why are you applying for Security Captain?
GSD as a department has a lot of unused potential and i want to draw it out. We are called General Security and not D-Block Security. If i get captain i would try to change that. Mainly by collaborating with various MTF's and making RRT the designated MTF helpers. In my vision 1 RRT sergeant and 1 RRT Officer should guard SCP-914 while the other RRT sergeant and 1/2 RRT officers should guard the Secondary HCZ Checkpoint which is often unmanned. The rest of RRT officers would stay in D-Block. Think of it likes shifts so the RRT Officers would swap with eachother every 30 minutes. I believe that with enough support from the COS me and other other Captains could make GSD more respected within the foundation and not the laughing stock we currently are.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
I love playing gensec and i feel a connection to it. I tried E11 and CI but it just didn't click with me. I exclusively play GSD and D-Class and due to that i understand the D-Class mindset which is very useful in a lot of situations. I haven't hosted a sweep yet unfortunately but i want to change that. Even if this application doesn't get accepted i will still try my hardest to organise a successful sweep. I don't mind helping and teaching other people i actually quite like it. I play in the early hours which would make me the captain that plays early in the morning when little GSD is on. Which is also the time when D-Class most often escape.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
Hosting Riot Riot Response Team and Heavy Weapon License Tryouts
Organising Sweeps
Assigning POI's to lower ranked GSD personnel
Making D-Block safe for Non-Combative personnel
Being a role model for lower ranked GSD personnel
Making sure GSD Staff follow the FLC
Teaching Cadets on how to be good GSD staff
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Steve was a young Warrant Officer working in ██████ Police Station until during a routine patrol he got attacked by a instance of SCP-1788-1. He fought bravely but the Super Human was too strong and in the end he got kidnapped and nearly turned into another instance of SCP-1788 fortunately Site-██ Agents saved him. After being saved by Foundation staff he got presented a choice either be administered Class-B amnestics or join the Foundation as a GSD cadet. After some consideration he chose the latter. As a Cadet he did his usual duties of escorting Jr.Researchers and Guarding the D-Block Airlock. Due to his hard work and dedication he got promoted to a GSD Officer. The former police officer decided to pursue a RRT license. His experience as a cop greatly help him during this period. After getting his license he got assigned to guarding SCP-914. 3 boring days on guard duty with nothing interesting happening. Until a CI Main Raid. He defended other RRT staff with his riot shield but it wasn't enough to stop them. He eventually got shot in his foot and that was his end. He got shot multiple times in the chest. Mobile Task Force Nu7 noticed all this commotion in LLCZ and terminated all the hostile forces. Miraculously RRT Officer Steve was found alive and unconscious. He was taken to medbay for thorough evaluation. 1 day after the incident he got promoted to a RRT SGT for his bravery against CI. Multiple months passed. He escorted multiple CL4 personnel and assisted in many sweeps. But another CI main raid happened they took control of the ████ room on Floor 3. Every RRT and MTF on site was called to assist with this situation. Everyone got ordered to push in the room after the negotiations collapsed. he assisted MTF units with carefully thought out flashbangs. After the raid he got called to the Chiefs of Security Office for a possible promotion to Captain.Steam ID:
