Do you have any previous experience with serious roleplay?:
Yes, I have played a large amount of serious roleplay on a mix of different servers and games. On Gmod, I've played HL2RP serious servers, the classic /roll to shot, and with every sentence including a /me or /it description. Continued on with the focus on Gmod, I've played the above-mentioned Fallout RP server, where once again I was placed in an enjoyable server where everyone was serious and amazing RP'ers yet in a newish setting to me. Moving away from Gmod, I've also played FiveM GTARP servers, where I had considerable RP experience in both the police force, and as a gang lead focused on smuggling drugs. I've also done a decent amount of mil-sim RP/operations on Arma 3, which was not exactly serious RP, it is rather close, as everyone is expected to perform their duties and RP their roles/ranks to a very high level. And finally, I've done a decent amount of chat-based RP, which I mainly did when I was a lot younger, which helped me flesh out my writing skills between characters.
How many hours can you be on every day?:
I play the server quite a lot, and average somewhere between 3-9 hours a day, with some exceptions depending on my work schedule.
Why do you want to become a Gamemaster on our server?:
The reason I wish to become a gamemaster, is that I already have experience with the role, and believe that I can put that experience to amazing use within the server, and help to improve the RP on the server. I've already worked with a number of GMs/staff on events, and storylines, mainly with Athena and Foxatron, who I assisted in brainstorming events that CI could do to enhance their RP experience. And with Athena, I have assisted, and am actively assisting her in events, including helping to write background information, lore, and create characters to be used, all of which I have had lots of fun while doing, and wish to continue doing as a full GM.
What do you think you would be able to help us with on the server? Why are you special over the other applicants?:
I am a published author, with a fair amount of books under my belt that are listed under pen names. My writing is top-notch, my ability to characterize and showcase vast amounts of interesting and unique characters is near second to none. And my creative literature is outstanding. All of these skills that I have can contribute greatly to the server, I can assist in writing server lore, help flesh out RP events and avoid the more obvious plotholes and cliches, and act as distinct and interesting characters during events.
Please List 3 small event ideas (Which would involve at least one side of the server):
The lost third?
An E-11 patrol around HCZ is meant to be rather simple, yet when the team entered SCP-939's containment chamber to check on it, they found something unexpected.
A third 939?
Teams scramble to figure out just how an SCP-939-3 has appeared out of nowhere, Researchers are called in to test, E-11 are close by on standby in case this is a lead-up to an SCP breach, and containment experts are prepped near and waiting for what could happen.
And as the Researchers poke and prod this new SCP-939, something strange happens. The SCP-939-3 is just a clone of SCP-939-2, and the actual SCP that cloned our dear friend, 939-2 is something else entirely! A strange new SCP that takes the appearance of whatever makes it laugh, now the game is turning the deadly 939 clone into something more harmless by... telling it a joke?
How did SCP-939-2 make this thing laugh in the first place?
But what happens if you make it sad? Yeah... let's not first out.
Coffee on the... branches?
We all love a good coffee, especially CI. After a long day of chaos, Class-F'ing Foundation personnel, stealing documents and info breaching whoever this Administrator guy is; is hard, and thirsty work. So what better way than to relax with a mug of coffee? But wait... all the coffee beans have run out?
No, literally... THEY'VE RAN OUT OF THE BUNKER!
Chase them, quickly, don't let them get far. Oh wait, where are they going, why are they all climbing up that one tree?
Great. Now we've got a giant tree with all its leaves replaced with coffee beans. Oh, and what a shocker, the beans are jumping off the tree and attacking us... at least they barely hurt, but how do we beat coffee beans?
With... water? Seriously? Oh, no, you weren't serious. We're just shooting them normally, thank god. And the tree? Wait, what's that? Why does the UNGOC have a giant kettle running out of their base?
At least we're getting our coffee after all...
The Hammer Defector
A CI convoy is coming through Pinewood, or... was coming through Pinewood, at least until an Nu-7 attack heli blows it into tiny pieces. Now Nu-7 is on the move to recover whatever is left behind, and what do they find... a data drive? Best give it to the tech experts, they'll crack it open, and what do they find?
H-HUH? AN NU-7 CO IS A CI SPY?
Welp, time to figure out who, get all the COs in one spot, and begin to question them... Ah, one small issue... they've been Class-F'd to forget they're in CI and to believe they're truly a Nu-7 CO!
Guess the questions have to be a little more... interesting than usual.
Sorry, what? CI are putting all those Nu-7 outfits they pull from corpses to good, or bad use? Great, now we have two fake Nu-7 trying to ask dummy questions to keep their agent hidden, this is going great!
Well, let's hope we find the correct guy, and if we don't... well, maybe CI have forgotten their activation code to wake up their sleeper agent, right?
Please List a Map change event idea (Involving both sides and the entire server):
On most days, little happens at the Foundation. However, on some days, everything happens. We usually prefer the former, yet unfortunately, today it's the latter.
A giant pillar has suddenly appeared in the middle of Pinewood, and anyone who seems to touch it gets... randomly teleported to somewhere nearby?
Strange, UNGOC is the first to respond, walking right up to and teleporting right into SCP-008's chamber, phew, thank god the vials are all safe and locked up.
While the Foundation is scrambling to see how the hell the UNGOC got into 008. CI is now approaching the pillar, they're a little smarter after seeing UNGOC vanish, and they're staying at a distance.
CI begins to test the pillar while the UNGOC and Foundation work out how this happened, but CI is learning quickly, and using robots with little cameras on them, they've figured out they can use teleportation to jump right into the Foundation's base for their next raid.
A CI raid appearing out of nowhere in the Foundation's base prompts them to instantly begin to investigate, with UNGOC already having the start of the trail. The two track down the pillar, and begin their investigation in full.
CI isn't happy about this, and the three factions fight a mini-war over the seemingly indestructible portal which... for some weird reason has stopped teleporting people?
Does it matter who wins? Probably not, whoever does, continues their investigation, but nothing can stop the pillar from doing one last teleport that it's been charging up.
And bang, the whole of Site-65 and Pinewood, all the personnel and all are suddenly teleported to another place! Another... site?
Site-56. It's the exact same as Site-65... except... everything is upside down?
CI is stuck inside the garage, UNGOC has found a home in their embassy, and the Foundation is running around on the roofs trying to figure out how to escape this backward reality, it doesn't take long. They soon find four new smaller pillars scattered around the base, one in the garage, one on F3, one in EZ, and one in HCZ.
The UNGOC trapped here have sent their researchers to investigate their pillar outside their embassy, the Foundation is dealing with the pillars in HCZ and F3, and CI is checking out the pillar in the garage.
While they may be trapped in this upside-down site, things from the outside seem to be able to enter from outside... this is getting bad quickly.
And the only way to fix it, is to activate all four pillars at the same time and wait for the charge-up to happen, let's hope it sends us back to the same spot...
List an example mission for each of the following:
O-1: You know the drill by now, someone gets handed a shiny new CL4 card and a department to lead, and they instantly begin getting involved in the good ol' EC-O5 politic business, maybe this guy made a few too many unkind comments towards the Ethic Committee, maybe he let a few Ethic violations pass by unnoticed, or maybe he's sucking up to the O5 Council a bit too much. Either way, our mission is clear; bag the guy, get him into the EC offices, take his disguise, and have him... "mess up" while we record it all. Class-A him to forget the whole ordeal, and with this flawless evidence, even the O5 Council will be forced to ignore his pleads of innocent in the mock tribunal we pull him into.
A-1: We've all heard the stories... the Chaos Insurgency were once us, Alpha-1. Doesn't matter if it's true or not, the reality is that a small group of them are claiming to be a part of the original A-1 defectors, and they're trying to come back. Escort them into the site, take their weapons, and get them in front of the O5 Council, they'll deal with this. We've just got to make sure CI don't come running to reclaim... or kill, their old guys.
Nu-7: Right, listen up boys! Some of our field units have found an old American nuke in the ground, don't ask me how it got there. Probably lost during the Cold War, isn't the first time it happened. Anyways, our boys from the NWS, that's the Nuclear Weapon Specialist squad for those that don't know, are gonna be arriving by chopper to disarm this thing and get rid of it. Our job is to take 'em there and give them cover while they work, we're expecting CI to get involved, so let's keep it snappy!
E-11: Of all the things I expected, I didn't expect SCP-076 to break into SCP-7722's chamber and find... religion? So lads, now we've got two Christ-worshiping SCPs who seem more interested in debating the bible in HCZ rather than killing people. I suppose this isn't a... bad thing? But either way, we've got to break them up and get them back in their containment cells. If we play this right, maybe a few bible quotes here and there, we can do this without a shot fired.
CI: Knock knock. It's MC&D, we've got a contact we need completed. We'll keep it simple for you, UNGOC hit one of our auction houses in mid-swing, we don't care about the items, acceptable losses, but they got a file we want back. We need you to break into their base at Pinewood, get that file, and hand it to us ASAP! Payment? Oh, right, well I suppose you can keep any of our items you find in their base, we don't really need them. Now, are you all ready?
UNGOC: Good afternoon, soldiers! We've got an operation to carry out. McConnel is holding an auction in which they're selling a KTE. The goal is simple, we're raiding the auction, grabbing that KTE, exacting it to a safe place and sending it off to the afterlife with a destruction beam. Let's just hope it doesn't get loose in the chaos.
Foundation Staff: Ladies and gentlemen, the Research Department has decided to host a beauty contest. Except with a TWIST! That's right, you won't be getting dressed up yourself, but dressing up our lovely team of SAFE class SCPs. So get your SCP-073 dresses ready, and your SCP-999 make-up primed. Because we're seeing which one of these safe beauties will look the best for our lovely panel of judges from the cooking department!
