What does this suggestion change/add/remove?
This is a Quality of Life (QoL) adjustment to the automated signature system for the O5 Council. Currently, signatures default to "Overseer [Name]." This suggestion would allow Council members (O5-1 through O5-4) to toggle their signature to a "Site Inspector [Number]" alternative.This allows Overseers to have a more active "voice" in Foundation documentation without immediately revealing their true identity. While I considered including the US server in this change, their designation typically follows a "Site Inspector [Name]" format rather than a numbered one, so they remain separate for now.
Has something similar been suggested before?
I am currently unsure if a similar toggle system has been proposed in the past.Possible Positives of the suggestion:
- Increased Efficiency: O5 Council members can sign off on their own documents and approvals directly, reducing the constant need for OSAs or Factotums to act as intermediaries.
- Operational Security: It allows the Council to participate in on-site projects, contracts, and agreements while maintaining their "shadow" status, preventing accidental information leaks in paperwork.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Technical Complexity: There may be some confusion during the programming phase regarding how the toggle interacts with the existing signature script.
