What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I am the best candidate for the position of Ethics Committee Assistant because of a number of reasons that are displayed below. My commitment and dedication to the site is shown through my consistent activity and willingness to take on responsibility in any situation that challenges me. With my current position as Director Of External Affairs to back me up, I strongly believe I have the thorough responsibility to be able to expand my role's duties also share my experience that I have and will continue to gain throughout. I will be honest, although my knowledge in terms of the committee is limited, this is not a hinder to my ability to perform as because I am very quick learner and can adapt to anything thrown at me. I have many aspects of my myself that make suitable but below are the relevant ones that I deemed and are in detailed reason as to why I am the best candidate;

Fairness and Integrity

I try to approach every situation without bias and focus on what’s fair. The Committee’s role is to guide the Site and the Foundation itself of course, not hold it back, and I believe I can help balance what is needed with what is right. I believe every situation deserves to be judged on facts and principles, not convenience. Acting with integrity means standing by what is right, even if it is not the easiest or most popular choice.

Administrative and Analytical Skills

As the Director of External Affairs, I’ve gained experience in reviewing reports, writing policies, and handling sensitive information. I’ve also had to coordinate between departments, ensuring information is communicated effectively . These skills directly align with the work of the Ethics Committee, where careful analysis and strong administrative ability are essential in reviewing cases, procedures, and ethical concerns.

Reliability and Professionalism

I’ve been trusted with sensitive responsibilities before, and I’ve shown I can stay professional under pressure. I believe those same traits would make me dependable in supporting the Ethics Committee. Additionally, in my current role as Director of External Affairs, I have been consistently relied upon to handle sensitive matters and represent the site in high priority situations, which requires both discretion and a professional approach. I have learned to manage confidential information responsibly, maintain composure during difficult circumstances. Professionalism, is not only about following protocol but also about showing respect, clear communication, and integrity in every interaction. Reliability is equally important, other people in the committee, whether that is fellow assistants or the members themselves, must know they can depend on me to complete tasks thoroughly, meet deadlines, and approach challenges with focus and consistency. These qualities are essential within the Ethics Committee, where sensitive issues and ethical decisions demand a steady, trustworthy presence that can be counted on in any situation.

Closing Statement

I believe my experience, judgment, and dedication make me well suited to serve as an Ethics Committee Assistant. I have shown fairness in decision-making, developed strong administrative and analytical skills through my work as Director of External Affairs and outside of that role in just myself as a person and proven my reliability and professionalism in handling sensitive matters. By bringing these qualities to the Committee, I aim to support its mission.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
The role of an Ethics Committee Assistant in is to support the Committee by providing oversight, documentation, and administrative help. While they do not make the final decisions, they ensure that the ethics standards are upheld and that the Committee has the information it needs to act effectively. Below are further detailed examples as to what the responsibilities of Assistants are;
  • Creating documents for the Ethics Committee | Assistants are always writing documents regarding a vast amount of potential reasons. Also, Ethics Committee Members are busy people, they have a job to do so they will task ECAs to create documents for them while they are doing something.
  • Direct Representee of the Committee | As an Assistant you will primarily be the direct face of the ethics committee on other site staff in the facility as people below the of CL3 will mostly always be engaging with the assistants not the members so assistants will be, in meetings, documents, phone calls, general conversations etc.
  • General CL4 Duties | As an assistant you are a JrCL4 access card holder meaning you still have the basic duties that come with that responsibility.
  • Ensuring Ethics Committee Orders are completed | ECAs can be tasked by ECMs or the ECC to complete a mission for the Ethics Committee, and these orders must be carried out to the highest possible ability.
  • Omega-1 Assistance | O-1 is a key task force applied directly to the committee and assistants must use this asset while executing anything they are doing and ensuring safety of the assistant.
  • Creating and Leading RP | As an assistant you should make RP that is good, interesting, understandable and relevant to your job.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

SUBJECT:
Thomas Holloway personnel file extract
Good day,

Upon request of a personnel file in regards of a Site-65 Personnel promotional basis, we have granted this request and if you are seeing this you have therefore received the Personal file of Mr Holloway.
Yours Sincerely,
RAISA Operative Jaeger.
Thomas Holloway had an early fascination with rules and accountability. Even as a child, he was known for his insistence on fairness, whether in games, school, or family disputes. This natural focus on structure grew into a lifelong passion, and by the time he entered higher education, he had committed himself fully to the study of law, governance, and administrative systems.

During his university years, Holloway distinguished himself with his sharp eye for detail and ability to dissect dense legal texts. His professors often remarked on his talent for identifying loopholes, inconsistencies, and hidden meanings buried in complex regulations. This unusual skill caught the attention of Foundation recruiters, who had been monitoring promising legal scholars capable of working with the highly classified and notoriously difficult Foundation Legal Codex.

Recruited quietly under the guise of a legal consultancy, Holloway began his work within the Foundation by assisting in the drafting and review of containment protocols, procedural laws, and ethical guidelines. His careful approach and commitment to integrity quickly made him stand out as someone who could balance the Foundation’s mission with its moral obligations.

Recognizing his potential, the Ethics Committee offered Holloway a position as an Assistant, where he now provides support in reviewing cases, advising on policy, and ensuring that operations remain ethically defensible. His work often places him at the intersection of legality and morality, where difficult questions must be answered with clarity and fairness. Thomas will no focus on the growth of the staff below him, working closely in a number of various departments across Site 65.
