Why are you applying for Director of Internal Security?
I am applying for Director of Internal security department as I believe it is the next big step for my career within site 65 and the gap that was left by Dylan's resignation needs to be filled as without it ISD may grind to a halt. I also believe that ISD needs to be more focused on our work with our offices and our work within tribunals to make them a tad more realistic and accessible for personnel within site and teach more how they work and what their rights are when asking for one. I also believe members of ISD need to be trained in a different way when it comes to tribunal. And more recently we have noticed a jump in agents knowing what there limits are so I believe a new way of training should be discussed with management.
What makes you suitable for Director of Internal Security?
I put a lot of hours into ISD and contribute to roleplay. I also listen to complaints about ISD no matter the rank or department as it could help ISD grow a department. My position right now is one of the managers of the office of information and legal affairs. My knowledge on the Foundations legal codex is vast and I have a few ideas for more FLC violations regarding audits and tribunals. I also have more ideas on how to improve the way we train our agents and operatives. Also with IWD started by our late DoISD Dylan Peterson I plan to get this off the ground and help with covert observations. This would also further links between ISD and Omega - 1 by helping either groups or people of interest. I am also working on the handbook for OILA with grayman so we can outline the exact duties and abilities that members of OILA.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Internal security in RP?
The duties of a DoISD is to make sure that members of ISD are enforcing the FLC and not tripping over the power they are given. It is also our job to lead and be the final port of call when it comes to issues once the chain of command is followed. We also keep track of storylines and operations and make sure we do not have operations open that are not needed. We also keep track of potential promotions within ISD no matter if its to investigators or to Inspectors. Finally a director must be a link to FCOM and members of site administration. Modification of department polices that align with ISD goal of enforcing the FLC. Coordinating with the other director to make sure ISD is running smoothly and finding solutions. And as a director my priority would be to shape the future of ISD to help progress RP for the whole of site with the help of members of leadership. Also making sure that members of leadership are not giving the department a bad representation and giving punishments to said members of leadership.
