What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I have played on this server for about 500 hours, 90% of those, were playing combat roles, I really have not done anything much aside from it (MTF and Intel), the more "non combative" role I play is Internal Affairs, which I actually enjoy, being a more chill job. I have a lot of experience on the server, I used to be staff and ISD, so I'm already very much familiar with most of the CoC and CoE, which I would gladly help enforce. I also am very cooperative in RP, and would like to have more attempts at non-combative RP. On a closing note, I would very much like to take this junior position on, so that I could get some CL4 experience, unlike any I've really had before.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
The main responsability of an ECA is to uphold the Code of Ethics, and Code of Conduct. Assistants take on the very literal role of assisting the Ethics Committee, and Site Administration run the facility, this includes : Speaking for the Committee in a day to day basis, closely watching the various departments present on the Site, assisting them, performing tasks related to them, and doing performance reviews of them (for example of the various MTF's, or of a specific department like GenSec).
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
It was a quiet evening on Site-44, Antonio 'Toni' Marchetti was finishing the rounds for his Research supervisor, usually hard logistics work for a Junior Researcher, but 'Toni' would soon be promoted to Researcher, no longer needing constant supervision from a Senior Researcher. There wasn't much in the site that impressed 'Toni' , his real passion were never the fear mongering monsters, or scary objects - It always was the scary ideas, info hazards, specially cognitohazards. There wasn't a day 'Toni' wouldn't spend more than two hours on the SciNet browsing and researching about cognitohazards, but he was soon to discover, that with his new clearance level, there would come new dangerous and threatening amounts of information he had to deal with.
On the Summer of 2022, 'Toni', on his research, came across a very interesting SCP, a cognitohazard that induces the victim into a paranoia of a set period of history - Cavemen during the stone age, valiant roman legionares when ruled by Caesar or the thinkers of ancient Greece - 'Toni' had previously taken some light, cognitohazard resistance drugs, so they wouldnt affect him. However, the will to research further into the SCP was greater than the will to not be in danger, and so 'Toni' , thinking nothing would happen, waited the effects of the drugs off, and glanced at the SCP.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-15120 Can be found within storage-vault inanimate containment area of Site-44. This SCP is to be handled using any sort of cognitohazard blockers. Due to the objects' effect, size, and effect, no more than a 50cm x 50cm case in a vault is necessary to contain it.
Description: SCP-15120 is a conch found on a ancient excavation in the far-west coast of the Azores archipelago. It does not deviate from the standard size of a regular conch, carbon dating deems it to have roughly sixty-five million years ago - the age when conches started appearing. SCP-15120 has it's tip open, as if it were intended to be blown into. The procedure Mind-Butterfly-667 is the safe procedure for experimenting with SCP-15120: Blow into the conch on a soundproof room, everyone located in the room will suffer the effects, which last approximately two and a half hours. This will randomly imprint the personality of a random historic period on the person who blew the conch, and the people who heard it. Records show that this does not apply to sound recordings.
Toni was overseeing the relocation of some of the smaller sized SCPs when he came across SCP-15120, he recognized it from the small information he had access to, but now with his new clearance level, he would be able to fully experiment with it, so he asked the assisting researchers and staff to store it for later use. A few weeks later, when Toni had time to review this SCP, he locked himself on the sound-proof room, and blew the horn---------------------------------------------------------
A loud bang was heard, and a mission was clear: "Toni, you must make 'em pay for the damages caused to the family...", Toni procured a handgun, and concealed it in his large trench-coat looking like lab suit.
"Dont let 'em negotiate him for less, you know what he's worth chief..."
Description: SCP-15120 conch effect draws personality traits from the user, and enhances them to a similar, or even the said time period.
-------------------------"Take him when he's alone!", he unsuspiciously walked over to the Site Directors' office, which had just finished having a meeting regarding some misbehaving general security member. Toni entered the room, and locked the door: "On your knees now you bastard, I'll make you pay for what you did to the family" - Says Toni as he points the gun towards the Site Director, he complies, and Toni positions himself behind him, but not before a foundation janitor saw the situation, and ran to the nearest general security member and reported the situation.
Toni rummaged through the Site Directors' drawers until he found a cigar, which he promptly lit with a match and started smoking, whilst asking: "What did Benny have to do with your schemes huh?", "Nonsense" the Site Director though, but he went along with it anyways, pleading sorry for this "Benny". On the background, the site assistants quickly assessed the situation and recognized Toni to be under the effects of a cognitohazard. MTF Eta-10 ("See No Evil") were rapidly deployed from a nearby base. Upon arrival, MTF Operatives, utilizing x-ray vision, noticed the pistol Toni had, had in fact, no bullets.
Description: SCP-15120 effects will under no circumstance endanger the life of another human being, however, it will enact extremely realistic scenarios.
With the situation assessed, MTF Eta-10 entered in and pacified Toni with non-lethal weaponry. Toni was promptly secured away in a cell until the effects had passed. Toni was put in temporary arrest, and he realized how much trouble he was in, but during a surprising routine check of the situation by an Ethics Committee Member, they realized that Toni had a untapped potential that could serve them: "--We realize you may have not intended your actions to play out the way you did, however, we have noticed the extensive research and dedication you've put into the field of various cognitohazards and infohazards. In order for you to repay for your actions you will continue your research, however, you will additionally serve us as an assistant in this facility, overseeing the committee in all matters regarding cognitohazard SCP's.". Toni agreed.
