Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
Unlike the other military roles in the server, the GOC actually approaches a somewhat normal/accurate form of government within RP, that being the UN, this makes it way more appealing to me, than the overzealous CI and SCP foundation. Also, the GOC has clearer and more well defined purposes, as opposed to the SCP grey area of ethnicality.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The GOC had the name of "Allied Occult Initiative", which fought off the nazis in WW2, and prevented them from completing the Ritual of Solomon - which would have won them the war - and after the war, various organizations banded together to form the GOC.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS: Military arm within the GOC - They are responsible for personally enforcing the GOCs' needs when it comes to fighting, capturing, and destroying parathreats and other threats.
PSYCHE: Diplomatic arm within the GOC - They serve as the GOC's representatives when it comes to interacting with other institutions such as the SCP Foundation, and generally they strive for peace with all other GOI.
PTOLEMY: R&D arm within the GOC - They are the scientists, researchers, etc, they are responsible for developing new technologies, researching parathreats/SCP's and quartermasters who oversee logistics.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
The GOC, within the SCP universe serves as an paranormal arm of the UN, they serve as the official protector of the human race, from paranormal threats and GOI threats. They were founded after the seventh occult war (explained below), in order to prevent rituals such as the Rite of Solomon from being performed, by anyone, by any means. The GOC tries to maintain peace between, and with all GOI, including the foundation and all other member-organizations. The SCP have 3 main goals, to Secure, Contain, and Protect, the GOC has five, Survival of the human race, Concealment of the paranormal from the general public, Protection of all individuals - operators and civillians alike-, Destruction of all paranormal threats when possible - they must not be allowed to survive- , and lastly, Education, the GOC seeks to expand all their knowledge on the paranormal, as long as it does not go against their four previous goals.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
The seventh occult war was the nazis' WW2 attempt at a ritual known as "Rite of Solomon" (SCP-3457 - Which is co-contained by both the SCP Foundation and the GOC) - This ritual would have given the nazis enough power to win the war, throught the event, the GOC was formed in order to prevent simillar events, and more, from happening.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
It is realistic, It employs a already existing real world organization (UN), with a bit of fiction (Trying to stop wars, and the paranomal), for me, they make more sense to be handling anomalous material, because instead of prioritizing their own needs (O5 C), the GOC prioritizes the general population, and, although extreme, their methods of needing to terminate anomalous threats, is very much justified.

Biographical Information:
Anton "Gauss" Gauss was born to a family of small farmers in rural east germany, learning from a young age to handle himself around animals and crops. Anton was not satisfied with the small life of a farmer, so he went to look for opportunities in the city, where he was greeted by numerous army advertisements. This seemed like a great idea at the time for Anton, which he gladly signed up for. It was peaceful for a time until Anton's regiment was deployed to Afghanistan as a backup armed force to a general GOC regiment (Which he was told was a UN armed forces regiment). During an emergency, Anton's squad was deployed as backup, but when it got rough, they had to intervene - This was Anton's first contact with a paranormal threat - amidst the grass and dust of the harsh winters in Afghanistan, small anomalous worms were infesting the general populace, turning them into hivemind zombies, Anton's squad was tasked with rescue of non-infected personnel, and later on, joined the GOC in wiping out the remaining worms and infested personnel, using specialized combat hazmat suits. This was long before the German army merged with the UN peacekeepers, but the ideas were already being discussed. Not long after this, Anton's squad, and all other witnessing parties, were offered to either join the GOC regiment, or have a memory wipe of the recent events and be sent home. Anton chose to stay.
Career Service Vitae:
Joined the German military in 2008; Trained as a regular soldier, later on getting trained to be a strike team member, later on also getting paratrooper trainning, and the rank of SGT; Served in Afghanistan from 2008-2009 as a reinforcement batallion, and 2009-2011 assisting the GOC with a parathreat; Joined the GOC shortly after.
