Why are you applying for Site Director?:

The main reason I am applying for this position is that I have seen a lot of shortcomings lately on the site, and I believe that I possess the correct mindset, and with this role, even the correct tools to change things for the better. The main issue that is currently very apparent on the site is the missing leader of the Site Administration, and I believe that with my skills, experience, and overall passion for the server and its health, I truly think that I am the right call for the role (more on that on what makes me suitable).

There are a few other shortcomings when it comes to some of the of the other departments and regiments. I would be willing to expand upon these in further detail in DMs with anyone who would like to know if I can see anything wrong with their own department from the role I am currently in, but I don't want to make any of the members feel ashamed or called out, which is why I won't put it in the open here.

It may appear a little unorthodox for someone to apply for the Site Director position from the Jr. CL4; however, I truly do believe that from the time that I have spent as a Director last time, I have learned everything there is to learn about a Sr. CL4's duties and responsibilities (and how they should act first and foremost). Since Site Director is a position that has the ultimate responsibility of choosing other Departmental leaders, I believe that experience in this role is on par with actively holding a Sr. CL4 role.

Now, for the reason that is most important for me. I have always enjoyed everything that has to do anything with administrative work, be that policy handling, personnel matters, or even proposals from site personnel; I always enjoyed all of it. My last time in Site Administration was genuinely the most enjoyable on the server and also the time when I felt like I had the biggest impact on the overall going of the server, and I really want to experience all of that again.

What makes you suitable for Site Director over Site Advisor?:

First and foremost, comes my prior experience in Site Administration. I believe that my past experience will help me acclimate much more efficiently to the position of Site Director, which would mean that I could start "working" on 100% efficiency much quicker. It will also help me analyze problems and come up with solutions to them much quicker than most of the other people would be able to. This also means that I won't need much guidance on how to effectively deal with stuff (this, however, doesn't mean that I wouldn't be in contact with anyone, since I believe that communication is the one thing that this server is entirely dependent on, and is something that makes everyone's life 10x easier). Please don't take this as me bragging about stuff that I have done, that is definitely not what this is supposed to be. I just believe that honesty is the best policy, and the Site Director position is very different from any other role on the server, and it takes a long time to get used to.

When it comes to my character qualities, I believe that, as I said earlier, honesty is my greatest asset. When I see something being done wrong, I am not afraid of calling it out. I usually do this privately though, since I do not want to publicly shame anyone, if it can be done like that. When I actually do call someone out though, I do it in a way of constructive criticism, and I tell the person what he should be doing instead and WHY. 9/10 times, when you only order someone to do something, they are either going to a) do it but resent you for it, since they won't understand why they should be doing so, or b) don't do it altogether, forcing your hand into nuclear options, for something that could have been easily avoided.

I am not arrogant or overly stubborn. When someone gets into an argument with me about something, I don't resent him for it; on the other hand, if someone presents to me some valid points, I am not against admitting that my opinion is the inferior one and actually implementing his way of things. This has happened to me on multiple occasions in the past. The only thing I expect from these conversations though, is mutual respect and understanding of both opinions.

I am fair. I have always been someone who was against blatant nepotism, and I hate it. As they say, treat others as you would like to be treated. If people come to me with concerns about someone, I always look at both parties and question them separately. After that I try to be the mediator if it is possible, and punish people fairly, via punishment befitting the crime mindset about it.

The mindset I have about this server is that it is a game, someplace you go to have fun and not be needlessly stressed. That is something that I find almost most important here, since when you are treated like a work-slave, you will burn out very quickly or even lose all of your passion for the server, which is the worst case scenario. If there is something that you want to do, but don't know how to, I am almost always free to talk to (Be that in-game or on discord, even if I won't get this role, you are free to come to me with stuff you need help with :D).

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
For this section, I am going to borrow most of the stuff from my old applications, since they do not change all that much. Hope you'll forgive me for that.

Be the Leader of Site Administration
One of the things that is specific to the Site Director position (who would have thought). Whenever there is an internal issue within Site Administration, it is the Director's duty to deal with it as diplomatically and efficiently as possible. Not only that, but the Site Director should be the face of SA and act professionally at all times when on it, since a lot of the actions he takes can then reflect on the rest of the Site Administration. Being there to help out other members of Site Administration is also extremely important, since when you are not able to do so, for what purpose are you really in the position?

Alpha Warhead activation in Site Command's absence
Well, this is pretty self-explanatory. When Site Command is either not on site or is unable to activate the warhead, but the activation of it is needed for upholding the server health (And when they are on site and active, with their permission is what I would get as well).

Appointment of Departmental Leaders & Other members of SA
This is one of the most important roles of the Site Administration. Site Administration is in charge of choosing almost all of the department's Directors/Chiefs (excluding the ISD director, who is chosen by the Ethics Committee). This duty comes with a responsibility of choosing a good-fitting department leader, so you have to give your own personal opinion and the experiences you had with this person. When the person passes the application process, an interview process begins, during which you have to listen attentively to the person's answers and rate the answers and then give verdict, with other members of SA, of course.

Liaisoning for departments under Site Administration
When you become a member of the site administration, you will be given a department (or two) to oversee for the month (This usually falls on site advisors, but if the site administration is not filled, it can be a duty assigned to Site managers, or even the Director). To effectively oversee a department, you have to be in frequent contact with the members of the department, especially their leadership, make sure their documentation is in order, make sure they are doing what they are supposed to be doing and make sure that there are no issues with the department from the administrative standpoint, meaning the leadership is doing what they should be doing and they are striving to better the department. For a Site Director, this changes a little bit, since he is supposed to be overseeing how Site Administration is faring in the liaisoning.

Site-wide policies management

This is done with the cooperation of Site Command. Basically, this means that if there is either a problem with already existing site-wide policy, there would have to be a meeting with site command (Or just OOC discord conversation) about it, where people would give ideas on how to make the existing policy work or if it just wouldn't be better to remove the policy altogether, or when there is a completely new problem and no policy is created to combat it, it is duty of SA and SC to create one that would remove the problem or minimize its harm on the site.

Groups of Interest Supervision for the site
Even though usually dealing with GoIs goes to the DEA; however, when there is either a big proposal or a problem concerning the entire site, SA should take part in dealing with it. One of the main things that SA should deal with is a policy, treaty or a deal that is meant to target the entire site and the entirety of the GoI the site is making the deal with (MOAT, for example). Everything should go first through DEA though, if it isn't something to do with SA directly, then SA will deal with it, however they should make sure that DEA is aware of such talks happening and kept in the loop about it, just to make sure they can work efficiently with the GoIs.

Day-to-day operation of site
There are a lot of duties that fall under this category, and I am going to list some of them here.

Authorization of usage of AA during breaches
Mass-termination of D-class
(When no Ethics is on-site)
Distribution of site forces when dealing with multiple threats (E. g., CI is somewhere in the facility, GOC is raiding, and there is a breach simultaneously)
Closing of certain parts of the site when there is a cross-training taking place (For example, a cross-training between E-11 and Nu-7 that was allowed to take place in HCZ, HCZ would be closed for a certain time, but only long enough to make sure that it does not disrupt the site functions for an awfully prolonged period of time).

Staying up to date
Not exactly a duty that is written anywhere, but it definitely is one of the most important responsibilities there is for SA. When SA member is not staying up to date with their department, they cannot effectively do their duties. When you are not up to date with your departments, you cannot give any constructive feedback, tips, or even any guidance on how to make a problem better, since you do not know that the problem exists. Same thing with the GoI supervision, if you are not aware of the site's current standing with the GoI or their recent actions, you cannot be of any help with the treaty creation since you do not know what to demand or what to give in exchange. As I have said, I believe this is one of the most important responsibilities as SA, but even when you are one of the departmental personnel, staying up to date is not going to make your life any worse.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

The loop is so real, and you are back to where you were just at the beginning of this year. I must say, this role is perfect for you and you were perfect in it when you had it. Every situation and RP you handled and created was with very precise thinking before hand, this made a very enjoyable environment for the entire site when you were leading it.

Extremely active and reliable Site Director. Whenever, we needed something we could always count on you to get it done.

Not only the practical side of your tenure but your overall attitude is always professional and always approachable and friendly. I trust that you will excel in this role once again and guide SA back to what it deserves to be.

I could go on for a whole lot more but I will keep it pretty brief, SA needs a person like Fenriz at this time.

I will admit. This surprised me and would have been nice for you to have a chat with the current members of Site Administration about this, though that does not matter too much to me personally.

But, as a current advisor within Site Administration, I believe this is needed due to the fact that Site Admin is in a state where we are all very overworked (4 Advisors, one on LOA.) And trying to maintain the time between IRL, and SA!

I believe you have a good plan, and I believe you would be the best possible fit.

Though I would rather see you as a Manager first again, to see how you handle Site Administration currently, and the foundation as a whole before being promoted to Site Director.

If I could ask, what type of RP and Leadership have you done in recent times? As Site Director is much more important than something like O5- Due to the fact you are a lot more public-facing.

I wish you the best of luck, and it would be nice to see you as a Director.

This has surprised me as I didn't expect anyone to apply for a SD, but here we are..

We do need someone that will lead Site Administration but I think it should be someone from the current team we have, as they would know what our current problems and issues are and what needs to be improved .

I would like to see you as Site Advisor and rise in the ranks before instantly applying for SD.

I will give no -Support or +Support.

I have enjoyed my interactions with him when he would act as an OSA. I haven't been able to witness his time as SA, but his general attitude is great. I also think he would have some insight, as an OSA, into the current Site Admin and have. He may not have insider information, but the current Site Advisors should be able to outline any issues from their perspective and assist him in providing fixes for them.
