For how long have you played on CG SCP: Roughly a week; might be a little longer by the time someone see's this.
-
Age: I'm in my 20's, If it's fine i'll leave it at that thank you.
-
In what country are you located?: The UK.
-
Time zone: GMT.
-
Character name(s): Security Officer Victor Alkov [HU-T]
-
Civilian name: N/A
-
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP UK.
-
Do you have a mic?: Yes i do.
-
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: I Do not actively have any roles outside GSD/Researcher, I Do not play anything else currently.
-
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: Nope, i have no Kicks, Bans and or warnings to my name.
-
Why are you applying for Security Captain?
To my knowledge as of writing coming from Dept Chief Cray, Competitive captains are currently in short supply on the UK Server, I'm not going to say anything should out-right trust myself without knowing me, but i have had extensive talks with the Dept Chief and or some of the Captains about myself attempting to ascertain the rank of CPT, And though through some struggles that I've faced I'm still pretty head-strong in my want to make it to CPT, My want however for applying stems to the fact i enjoy GSD, I will personally admit I Do not know a whole lot about SCP and SCPRP In general, i come from HL2RP's and other RP's that hold no candle to SCP's lore, but despite that i have found a sort of comfort within GSD, beyond the Lore i can understand i can do and i enjoy it, thus i'd like to further myself within it, be it to CPT or whatever rank i can reach after that.
-
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
I Like to think i'm a pretty surreal person when it comes to aspects and what people can achieve, instead of listing some laundry list like it's some CV, I'm going to simply relay it in a paragraph type ordeal, I Think personally or at-least i'd be suitable on the grounds i can be pretty down to earth with people within GSD, I've started from nothing on this server initially failing the cadet test a couple times till i actually asked around and got someone to teach me the stuff; alot of things within GSD aren't mean't to be taught by some notes on the board; alot of what you learn in GSD is through others and their experience, and i'd like to further that experience to newer GSD when they arrive like myself, cause it's sometimes a little daunting spawning in as a Cadet and having this giant map to learn, I Think what makes me suitable is my ability and want to help newer players GSD or not, i enjoy the fact of helping others just enjoy their time as cliche and maybe cringe as it sound, I'm not innately on here just for my enjoyment but also to make sure others are enjoying their time as well. I Could list off some of my previous experiences else-where but sadly for SCP i have never been much more than a GSD, so i'm hoping those to read this understand this is my request to put a foot through the door and learn more.
-
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
I Think personally they're a lot of Responsibilities not all are listed, and sometimes not all are told. I'm going to relay them below with a title and a general bit of information about said title for those reading.
Activity:
I Don't need to really list why Activity is a Important factor as a responsibility to being a CPT, that being said i want to clarify Life comes first; but if you're able to enjoy yourself and join Activity is important, a lot of respect comes down to people seeing you around for better or worse when people actively see you more they'll recognize you more and this plays a key factor in 'Figure head' positions, all good being a CPT But if you're never on, what are you the CPT Of?
Training/Tryouts:
These two can pretty much go into tandem with each other; this does not mean every training is a tryout and vise versa but more so; these two are similar in process, Captains must maintain a sense a composure in terms of reliability; this can be effectively done through Training's and tryouts. The best way to make sure your GSD are actively efficient is to actively be a key role in that process, IE Through training and re-arming your GSD through Tryouts, GSD is a bridge faction between other Foundation Combative so sadly over time your specialist GSD Will eventually move on, so regular tryouts can assure that small influx and gap can be maintained properly.
Serious/Down-to-earth:
This is what i like to call the "This isn't a Responsibility that's mentioned, but without it you're kind of screwed." sorta deal. Though I Do believe to act Serious is a responsibility of the Captain so that your Dept Chief and Chief themselves can know you're taking the GSD Job seriously; i want to emphasize that you can't yell at every problem nor just hit every problem, sometimes being Down to Earth with people and talking on their level is a much better response than actively throwing the book at them, sure a Cadet may be beating the ever living shit out of a Class-D; but then instantly trying to cuff him make escalate the situation to a literal stand off between you and the Cadet. I Want to add an addition to the prior note that sometimes sadly it is required to sadly Cuff someone because of said actions, but that being said if you can afford constantly physical arguments and or fights it's the better option, plus it'll earn you a lot more respect to talk down your problems opposed to shooting/cuffing them.
Sweeps/Job Detail:
These next two aren't really in anyway related bar the fact they Involve Class-D, Firstly Sweeps. Sweeps are a form of basically Item Clearing pertaining to the D-Block, Sweeps are actively called when a Code:2 Situation is or has happened and the Class-D's in question have items listed from 'Keycards all the way to Weapons'. Sweeps are generally handled by the Captain though to my some-what knowledge i have seen other branches do and authorize them before, that being said generally speaking it's the Captains Responsibility to handle the sweep and assign details to the GSD present, this can range from Clearing the vents or blocking the Fenced Doors all the way to moving Class-D to the Dreaded East wall.
Job Details work differently however, usually speaking when there is no emergency within the facility a Captain can and may assign work details to the D-Class and you'll have to forgive me my knowledge of this isn't as extensive as the prior, but to my knowledge Maintenance, Chef and some form of medical work an be issued to the D-Class, all of which provide a benefit to the Facility; I personally believe this Responsibility to be one of the more.. up there in terms of "Must do" given that this Effects GSD and D-Class instead of just one or the other.
Code of Conduct:
It doesn't really need to be said but the Code of Conduct that applies to the Regular GSD Also applies to the CPT, The Captain's act and how they respond to Codes with such Conduct transfers to what the other GSD See; to act in a fitting manner to said Conducts will then show other GSD how to act, this is sort of a Domino effect, you do well and the other GSD see it? They then copy that behavior; which is what you want!

Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what story lines they would be involved in:
(I Want to quickly add a disclaimer to anyone reading this section, I am not the best with SCP Lore so if i some how break the Fourth-Wall with some SCP Lore that isn't real, you'll have to excuse me, i'm going to be grounded to earth as possible)
Victor Alkov is a Twenty-Nine year old Russian, Born in the town of Kursk, During the Conflict of the Cold-War Victor Alkov was attached to a Unit working in Siberia during Victor Alkov's Stay within Siberia his Unit composed of around Five Security Detail and Two Researchers were tasked with weather anomalies within the heart of the region, after around a week of testing to find the cause of said anomaly nothing was actually found, however during the final stay of the night within Siberia for Victor Alkov a large green glow grew around the sky of Serbia, Victor Alkov leaving his tent looked up-to the sky in awe as the others apart of the Unit followed suit, after a while the Green glow grew to a almost blinding level as what could of been trumpets violently playing across the region, the sound grew louder and the lights grew brighter only for Victor Alkov to slightly shield his eyes before the sound and lights grew to a almost lethal level, falling unconscious shortly after.
Waking up nearly an entire day later in the freezing cold; Victor slowly raised himself out of the now buried snow around himself only to look around and though firstly not see his unit then after pondering about would see a hand sticking out the snow, it was wearing the same Uniform as Victor; looking around once more now in a alerted manner would see parts of bodies strung around the Camp Sight; nothing was left un-damaged.. beside Victor, weapons the tents and the equipment all torn and broken, the frequency from the sound that came from the sky was so loud it tore nearly everything apart if not blinded it first.
Victor Started walking, Serbia was a large landscape but the only way was to keep walking, thus he did- He walked and walked endlessly in the cold of Serbia as he knees gave away and he'd slowly fall to the ground, though that should of been the end for Victor.. The Sky grew Green again and the Trumpets of the sky played once more, but in the midst of it a faint cutting of the air could be heard.. and a smudge of grey could be seen in front Victor.. though he couldn't really tell what it was.. A Helicopter broke the skies sound as it landed close to himself, the top level of snow flying about as it landed near himself, Yellow figures appeared from it only a blur to Victor but all he could hear were radio's going off; the last thing he hears is something about a Foundation as he's dragged into the Helicopter before the Skies anomaly burst out once more.
Waking up inside of Medical lab with a Security Chief looming over him, who knows what'll happen next in his storyline?
