Why are you applying for Site Advisor?

I am applying for Site Advisor because I believe I am ready to expand my impact beyond a single department and contribute to the site as a whole.

I have spent my time in RSD dedicated to strengthening the Research Department through practical, player-focused changes. This included relaunching the project management subdivision, refining and simplifying policies, and helping lead the push for initiatives centered around improving the overall research experience. Working alongside the rest of RSD leadership, we have brought the department into a far healthier and more enjoyable state.

Now that RSD has a strong base, I want to take that same mindset and apply it site-wide. The Site Advisor role feels like a natural progression, allowing me to focus on broader improvements such as refining site policy, strengthening interdepartmental collaboration, and introducing initiatives that benefit the overall player experience.

A key focus for me is cohesion. From my time in both Research and ISD, I have developed a strong understanding of how departments operate individually and where disconnects can occur between them. I have already worked on a smaller scale to address these issues. As Site Advisor, I want to build on that by helping ensure the site operates as well as it possibly can.

What draws me most to the role is the aspect of leadership and diplomacy, creativity and structure. I aim to be someone who is approachable, consistent, and focused on continuous improvement, while also being capable of making decisions that benefit the site long-term. Also I think I would have alot of fun with the role, and plan to intergrate my rank as Game Master with it to create some interesting scenarios.

Ultimately, I am applying because I want to help shape a more cohesive, engaging, and well-structured experience for everyone on the server, just as I have worked to do within Research.

What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:

I believe I’m suitable for Site Administration because I have a proven track record of identifying issues, implementing practical solutions, and following them through in a way that benefits both structure and player experience.

In my role as Executive Researcher, I’ve consistently worked to improve the department in meaningful ways. This includes relaunching a project management subdivision to better coordinate large-scale projects, refining and simplifying policies to make them more accessible, and helping lead Research 2.0, which shifted the department toward a more approachable and engaging environment for new researchers.

I also bring strong interdepartmental experience. I’ve worked closely with Research, Medical, and ISD etc. This has given me a well-rounded understanding of how different parts of the site operate. This allows me to approach problems with that insight and work collaboratively with other departments. A good example of this is resolving issues through cooperation with ISD, focusing on long-term improvement.

Alongside this, I have experience with the tribunal system, which lends to some of the responsibilities of a Site Advisor. This is something I understand is important within Site Administration, where decisions need to be consistent and justified.

Another key strength of mine is documentation and organisation. Much of my work has involved turning unclear or overly complex information being structured and readable, and have done this with things like policies, handbooks, or project documentation. I am comfortable maintaining and refining standards, which is a core part of Site Administration.

Finally, I approach leadership in a professional and approachable manner. I am confident in putting forward ideas and making decisions, but I prioritise clear communication and the ability to work with and cooperate with anyone, especially when working across departments with differing perspectives.

Overall, I believe my experience, consistency, and focus on both people and structure make me well-suited for a role within Site Administration.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:

Site Administration serves as central management for all site operations. Their role is to keep the facility organised, professional, and functioning smoothly on a daily basis. This includes supervising departments, maintaining stability, and making sure proper procedures are consistently followed. They also play a key part in department coordination, ensuring communication and cooperation remain steady across all branches of the site.

Leadership & Department Oversight
Site Administration appoints, supervises, and evaluates Department Directors and MTF Commanders, excluding divisions such as ISD and A-1, which are governed separately. Each administrator is assigned one or more departments to monitor, ensuring leadership stays active and standards ar upheld. Regular departmental reviews and audits are carried out to track performance and overall efficiency.

  • Conducting monthly departmental reviews and audits to assess performance and engagement.
  • Monitoring command teams to ensure consistency, professionalism, and transparency.
  • Offering feedback and support to departmental leadership to strengthen structure and cohesion.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for command staff when a higher authority is required or the chain of command is disrupted.

Policy & Site Management

One of the biggest responsibilities of Site Administration is maintaining the site’s policies and operational standards. Working directly with Site Command, Site Administrators ensure that all rules and procedures are up to date and relevant.
  • Reviewing existing policies and suggesting revisions when possible issues arise.
  • Drafting and implementing new policies in collaboration with Site Command to address any gaps.
  • Authorising key documents, such as inter-department testing proposals.
  • Maintaining the overall flow of administrative documentation to ensure it remains accurate and accessible.

Operational & Emergency Response Duties

Site Administration also acts as the on-site management authority during emergencies or large events. They ensure resources, personnel, and priorities are correctly distributed to protect the site’s interests.

  • Authorising Advanced Armoury usage when appropriate.
  • Coordinating emergency responses during breaches, Code 1s, and Code Blacks.
  • Overseeing the temporary closure of areas for cross-training, maintenance, or site drills.
  • Working closely with MTF and department leadership to ensure smooth coordination, and containment efficiency.

Judiciary & Accountability
Site Administration plays a key role in maintaining internal discipline and fairness within the Foundation. They assist in handling minor offences and disputes through formal tribunal processes, ensuring that all actions are conducted impartially.

  • When authorised, Site Administration may also act as neutral representatives of the Ethics Committee.
  • Ensuring investigations and outcomes are documented clearly and handled professionally.

Site Cohesion & Situational Awareness

Site Administration is expected tohave knowledge of most if not all operations ongoing. They must understand how every department functions, ensuring cross-department collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Staying informed on leadership changes, departmental updates, and current policy enforcement.
  • Maintaining diplomacy between regiments and departments.
  • Encouraging professionalism, and clear communication no matter the clearance level.
  • Supporting ongoing initiatives that enhance the quality of RP, collaboration and documentation.
Site Administration exists to keep the Foundation structured, efficient, and stable, balancing authority with collaboration, and ensuring that every part of the site operates as unified as possible.
Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
