What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
While most of my current experience comes from my time with CI, i still have some of my past experience as an Executive Researcher. I am able to maintain good relations not just with folks like fellow researchers or other CI members, but also other GOIs. I can easily start and lead roleplay, though sometimes that is a matter of me getting ideas for it. I can manage the site if needed, just like i managed CI when other COs were unavailable, even under pressure. I can write up documents and reports, just like i did back when i was an Executive, and just like i do in CI today. And lastly, when i receive orders, i do them without question, just like in CI, even if it means torturing people for information.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
As their name suggests, one of their primary duties include assisting the O5 Council in their everyday tasks, following their orders, even if it means sacrificing their own lives. They represent the council, and on several occasions they attend meetings and sign documents when the Council is, for example, occupied with something else.
On several occasions, they also manage the site in Site Command's or Site Administration's absence. While it does not mean they can give orders to Alpha-1 as they only listen to orders from the O5 Council, they are still Level 4 Personel, which means that Overseer Assistants retain some of the authority and fulfilling duties that are expected of CL4 personel like Executives, Site Managers, and so on, and those involve, for example, monitoring CCTV, opening doors for emergency units, and overall upholding Foundation Law and the Legal Codex.
Lastly, Overseer Assistants are the people responsible for handling high-level information breaches, in the event ISD are not able to do so for one reason or another. While they can ask Alpha-1 for help in apprehending the leaker, just like mentioned before, they cannot issue orders. Doing so will ensure, that any CL4+ document that can be potentially leaked stays safe and secure.
Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:
Ever since i have returned, i've spent time with CI to work on some of the previous issues which hindered me from getting the position in the past, as well as overall improving upon myself. Sure, it may have been a bumpy road, and i may be no saint, but i think i made sufficient progress. I have managed to bring the much-needed RP to CI - a group that often times had nothing to do except raiding, and managed to help their R&D division thrive, even involve GOC to start doing R&D once again through a joint project. But i digress. Creating roleplay is what i love to do, and one day i wish to achieve a senior position and eventually get along with the folks.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Dr. William Collins. Those that worked with him for at least 7 years know that he is an expert in biological studies. A calm and meticulous scientist, he is responsible for the discovery of Caelinite - a material acting as a thaumatological conduit, found within SCP-860-1. He is also responsible for creating the Tachyon Analyzer - Dr. Collins' finest work, which pioneered dimensional exploration on a whole new level. Even with all this information at hand, William still hides some secrets about his past.

William was not always working for the SCP Foundation. After graduating biological sciences at the Cambridge University, he travelled to California to settle down. He got married at age 32 to Jolyne, a 30 year old high school teacher, and had a 12 year old son - Jason. After 4 years of marriage, His wife and son had an unfortunate encounter with an instance of SCP-3199, which attempted to kill them both. William quickly arrived on the scene, looking for his wife and son, and soon he found them kneeling next to the corpse of the 3199 instance, surrounded by a group of soldiers, calling themselves "The Chaos Insurgency". William was forced to watch as they killed his wife and kid, and moments later, the SCP Foundation found the CI squadron and dispatched them without breaking a sweat. He approached the Foundation unit, which turned out to be MTF Nu-7 "Hammer Down", and was allowed to mourn his family. William was interviewed later on how did he find this location, as well as knowledge on the entity that his family encountered. When Nu-7 found out about his scientific expertise, he was invited to work at Site-74 as a member of the Research Department. He has risen through the ranks to then become a Senior Researcher.

After becoming an Executive Researcher, but shortly before getting transfered to Site-65, Site-74's power grid experienced an unknown malfunction, which was suspected to be a site-wide breach at the time. Site Command attempted to detonate the on-site nuclear warhead, but the power to the warhead was cut, preventing it's detonation, and so the site was evacuated. Now all that remains are ruins. Site-74 served as a containment site for Euclid-class anomalies, as well as certain Keter-class SCPs, but also served as a repository of GOI intel, including the UNGOC, CI, UIU, and other groups of interest.

After becoming an Overseer Assistant, William intends to uncover the truth about what happened at Site-74, and recover any valuable intel from the site's intel repositories before any of it gets into the wrong hands. However, the Ethics Commitee plans on hindering William's efforts at uncovering any details about Site-74. This is why William is willing to fight the commitee if it means finding out the truth about Site-74 and recovering any surviving documentation from there.
