What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:

I believe myself to be a good candidate for overseer assistant based on my experience, as previously mentioned above I have held various roles throughout my time on the server since its very launch going all the way from MTF to SA to CI, this has given me a lot of versatility and wisdom throughout the years on the server as I know how various groups work including their core gameplay loops and primary areas of RP, this information allows me to better roleplay with players in these areas and gives me a lot of foresight into how to handle situations as an OSA down the road.

Another reason I believe myself to be a great candidate for OSA is that I have a lot of skill as a role-player and prefer it over combative-based roles, I have the ability to create fun and inclusive RP with people of any department and I am great at joining in on active RP in order to enhance it. These skills are a major part for the position of OSA who will often create RP for groups such as A-1 and various other departments along with carrying out orders from O5, as such the ability to perform this duty is paramount to the role.

The last reason I will note on why I believe myself to be a wise choice for OSA is that since my return I've been highly active on the server and can put in the time for the role, furthermore I have a lot of experience with document creation and strive for quality in RP and Document creation. These are the reasons why I should be considered a worthy candidate for the position of OSA.

What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:

  • An OSA is responsible for carrying out orders given to them by the O5 council​
  • Creating RP for various players in the site and especially Alpha-1​
  • Work towards the benefit of the O5 council and the foundation at large​
  • Act as the first point of contact for O5 when people wish to contact them regarding a majority of matters​
  • Create documentation​
  • Carry out other CL4 standard duties such as authorising AA, authorising QRF if they are the highest on, assist in interdepartmental relations, set an example for others on the server​
  • Work alongside Alpha-1​
Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:

I wish to become an OSA for a few reasons, the first reason is that at heart I am more of a role-player than a combative-player and as such I wish to return back to a primarily non-combative role so that I can focus on RP creation over combat. The reason why I have chosen OSA over the other options is that I have not been an OSA before and wished to gain new experience on the server that I have previously missed, in addition to this I have not had any position in the F3 sector of RP and I wish to change that with this application. The last reason I wish to become an OSA is so that I can return to a position where I can easily create qualitive and meaningful RP for players, I have determined that an assistant role would likely be the best place to start to facilitate this desire.

I did more RP than I logged mostly because I was only logging roleplay creation that would considered major RP such as a large meeting I set up between myself, GOC and DEA to discuss a research project (The great ship) but I did some more smaller ones like interviews with researchers, going around and setting up some group tests etc... My tenure was also cut short due to IRL issues that caused me to step back from the server for a month.

As of recent I haven't done much note worthy RP the most recent thing from today was me gaining a major injury and allowing for medical and O-1 to do some roleplay around that. I've been playing CI more recently as I'm trying to get more RP into CI by trying to set up general operations for CI to allow for more RP to take place and to vary raids more with them being based more around RP rather than just another lobby hold or breach raid, also just trying to expand it in CI as I think RP is partially gatekept by the different squadrons.

I'd rather not spoil some of my RP ideas for OSA as there is definitely going to be some cloak and dagger stuff but on the more outwards side I would be interacting a lot with different departments to create some RP around advancing towards the goals of the foundation and more so the councils goals, an example would be addressing the direct threat of CI with SOP and setting up some missions to accomplish to move towards that goal and possibly some more sneaky others for the council.
