Why are you applying for Chief of Medicine?
I am applying for Chief of Medicine as I primarily play Combat Medic and this is the next logical step within the ranks of the medical department. Aside from that I have seen a significant amount of new trainee doctors struggling to get their medical license due to the lack of medical higher-ups on at certain times, due to my time-zone I wish to alleviate this and be a person new doctors can come to when other chiefs aren't on if they need assistance with anything or need to ask questions.
What makes you suitable for Chief of Medicine?:
I believe I would be a suitable Chief of Medicine due to my experience as a medic, whether it be a doctor or combat medic as well as having substantial leadership experience on other servers previously.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
Healing Fractures
When someone with a fracture presents themself to the medbay the first step is to identify the location of the fracture through the usage of an x-ray. After locating the source of the fracture the medicine can be synthesized through use of beaker and flask. Using the command “!medic” the required drug can be bought and subsequently placed within the flask, the contents of the flask are then poured into the beaker, creating the required medicine which the patient can then drink in order to heal the fracture.
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Medicine in RP?:
After being recruited into the foundation as a trainee doctor, Alpa worked his way towards earning a medical license. After this, he spent years training for combat against hostile groups of interest as well as SCPs, upon completion of this training a promotion to combat medic was provided to him. During his time as a combat medic, Alpa served on the front lines of numerous CI raids alongside Nu7 and assisted E-11 in dealing with countless SCP breaches, providing medical assistance to anyone who required it while using his combat training to defend himself. Due to his work as a combat medic he was then promoted to Chief of Medicine and spent his time assisting new doctors and overseeing the medical department.
