What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
I believe I bring a lot of prior experience from working within the foundation that has led me to progress to be able to assist the GOC. I have the necessary leadership qualities as well as maturity that I believe would be a perfect fit for the GOC to be able to progress as a whole. I have much experience with communication and being able to further advance the GOC. I am a very dedicated individual and continue to always be, I strive to always be the hardest worker in the room at whatever it is I am doing. While on-site I am always trying to further develop myself in terms of RP or overall with how I interact with those around me.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
One of the many reasons I would like to join the GOC is for the same reason I applied for Executive Researcher, I find myself continuously immersed in passive roleplaying as well as diplomatic roleplaying. One of the many things GOC does is be a neutral GOI for both CI and Foundation therefore somewhat being a center ground for diplomacy from both GOIs. I’ve read a decent amount of lore about GOC and has then intrigued me into wanting to join it here on the server.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The GOC was founded to protect humanity and the mankind race from thousands of anomalies are as the GOC call them “parathreats”. Instead of containing them they use a method that may seem a bit controversial by destroying/killing the anomalies they encounter, even if completely harmless.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS: The basic foot soldiers who are tasked with investigating, capturing/eliminating and observing Entities that are of any Threat Level. They are usually split into groups in which on portion of the squad focuses on investigating and monitoring while another group eliminates and captures Entities.
PSYCHE: Known as the diplomats of the GOC, there main goal is to cooperate with other members of the Paranormal community and keep peace regarding members and Paranormal powers.
PTOLEMY: Known as the "Support Arm" of the GOC, These group is very broad it includes personnel such as Scientist and Researchers who are responsible for making sure the GOC operates effectively. They are tasked with goals such as making new technology and more importantly researching the paranormal Entities and activities.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
The GOC has compromised a Five-Fold mission statement that matches the pentagram in their emblem. The Five-Fold mission is as follows.
Survival: The GOC has to protect the human race against all paranormal threats, and this mission take priority over all other four.
Concealment: The GOC has to keep the knowledge of paranormal threats secret, as exposure of said threats could lead to mass panic and, eventually, massive casualties in the wider civilian population.
Protect: The GOC always tries to protect individual humans, both operatives and civilians, whenever possible, as long as it does not go against the first two previous statements.
Destruction: The GOC should not take any risk with the survival of paranormal threats, as the very existence of the anomalous could be a risk to the human race's survival.
Education: The GOC should always expand their knowledge of paranormal threats, and study said threats, as long as it does not go against the four previous statements.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
During the Second World War, the Nazi Regimes very own occult organization, the Ahnenerbe Obskurakorps, attempted to complete the “Rite of Solomon”, a ritual that would allow them to change the nature of magic. They intended to use this to make magic only performable by Germans(Primarily Hitlers Regime & his key supporters), making them the true “master-race”. This led to the Global Occult Coalition(Known as the Allied Occult Initiative at the time), alongside several other occult groups of interest that it had allied with during the war, such as the FBIs Unusual Incident Unit and the SCP Foundation, managed to stop the Obskurakorps from completing this ritual, which also prevented the Nazi Regime from turning the tides of the World War. This incident later resulted in the AOI turning into the Global Occult Coalition, as they wanted to prevent things like this in the future & have better control/oversight of parathreats.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
In my opinion the GOC has a much more realistic approach to the SCP- Universe if SCPs were real. They prioritize mankind and eliminating the parathreats instead of trying to contain them and keeping them for usage such as the foundation. In CI’s case it would be realistically extremely difficult to even try to weaponize SCPs/Anomalies. Despite the extremities that GOC might display at times mankind's safety is always a priority and is somewhat justified. Take a look at how the world currently operates today in real time, sometimes extremities are necessary measures needed for safety.

Joseph Rojo was born in Cuba in 1995, just a few decades after Fidel Castro came to power. Growing up in a communist country was tough, but Joseph's family managed to make ends meet. His parents were both factory workers, and they instilled in him a strong work ethic and a sense of patriotism.
As a young man, Joseph witnessed firsthand the abuses of the communist regime. He saw friends and family members disappear, and he knew that he had to do something to make a better life for himself and his family. So, in 2013, at the age of 18, he made the difficult decision to leave Cuba and start a new life elsewhere.
Joseph's journey was treacherous. He had to sneak past the Cuban border guards and make his way to the United States. He spent several months in a refugee camp before finally being granted asylum. Once in the United States, he worked hard to learn English and assimilate to American culture.
Joseph soon found work as a police officer in Miami, Florida. He enjoyed serving his community and protecting the innocent. He worked his way up the ranks, eventually becoming a detective.
But Joseph wanted more. He had always dreamed of serving in the military, and in 2018, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He excelled in basic training and was eventually assigned to a special operations unit. Joseph served with distinction, earning several commendations for his bravery in combat.
After 4 years of service, Joseph retired from the military and settled down in Virginia. But he wasn't content to sit idle. He wanted to continue serving his country in some way. The Global Occult Coalition is an organization dedicated to protecting humanity from supernatural threats. Joseph's experience in law enforcement and the military made him a valuable asset to the organization. He quickly was recognized by the United Nations Global Occult Coalition, and an Invite was sent to him to join them. Looking back on his life, Joseph is grateful for the opportunities he has had. He knows that he made the right decision to leave Cuba and start a new life in America. He is proud of his service to his country and to the and he is grateful for the freedom and opportunities that he has found in the land of the free.
