What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for this positions within the Committee for many reasons, as stated on my Site Administration application the US roleplay is severely lacking. While holding a position within Site Administration for a short moment I've lead and created many different roleplay scenarios for the player base and plan on continuing to do so. I believe obtaining the position within the Committee will be able to boost my ability to continue doing enjoyable and engaging roleplay that involves more areas and departments.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I believe what make's me the best candidate for the Committee is the prior experience and previous statements that I have made, stood by and executed;
Upon my appointment within Site Administration and throughout my time within Site Administration, I've made sure to always foster an engaging and enjoyable roleplay setting for everyone involved, along side this I've always made sure that the Department/MTF I'm overseeing is on the correct path and any issues that arise are sorted. These are all claims that I made upon my request into Site Administration and through my work have shown to be true.
My current and previous leadership experience is also what make's me the best candidate for this position, before becoming a member of Site Administration I was a previous Omega-1 Lieutenant Commander, which provided me with skills that I would need in the long run; Leadership, Initiative/taking control, decision making and being able to create and establish good roleplay to which I demonstrated throughout my time as Lieutenant Commander, not only did I demonstrate these skills throughout my time as a Lieutenant Commander but I believe I demonstrated and exceeded these skills while being a member of Site Administration. I also believe I have the needs and understanding to assist in creating great roleplay and fun interactions for members within Omega-1 & Ethics Committee Assistants due to hearing things they dislike/like while my time as Omega-1 LTCOM.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
Within roleplay the Ethics Committee have a lot of responsibilities to uphold some are as follows;
- Approving/Denying Research Projects
- Creating Projects for Departments
- Detonating the Nuke (During Breaches & within reason)
- Calling Emergency Response Team (During Breaches)
- Creating Orders for Ethic Assistants
- Creating Orders for Omega-1
- Holding Tribunals and Hearings
- Upholding Code of Ethics
- Communicating with the Overseer Council on issues.
What are the responsibilities Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
Out of roleplay the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee are as follows;
- Deciding on Director of ISD
- Deciding on Omega-1 Commander
- Creating roleplay and communicating with other Roleplay leaders
- Ensuring all OOC issues are being handled E.G: Discord
- Deciding & Voting on Ethic Assistant Applications
