What server are you applying for: US
Your Username: The Gypsy Bard
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:56887776
Discord Username: thegypsybard
Age: 28
What's your current playtime (type !time in-game):
Do you have a mic (optional): Yes, and it gets frequent use.
Your characters name:
Darby (Yes, that one.)
List all the names of the characters that you use (Foundation, Civillian, e.t.c.):
Darby - Foundation
One-Off Names - Civilian RP Enhancements
Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications:
Yes.
Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why (type /warnings in-game):
An old warning for FailRP when I didn't know some rules.
How many hours can you be on everyday:
I create RP in the afternoons, usually around two hours a day.
Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community:
Yes. Around 15+ years of experience.
Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice:

I dabble. I also helped build one of the dupes used recently for a surface event.
Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:
A second SCP-049 instance spontaneously appears in the facility. Neither 049 is able to tell if they are the original, yet both seem to possess the same thought process so intrinsically that they almost can speak 1:1 for each other. The original and the copy share their thoughts and theories on why such a thing has occurred with those that come to speak with them, providing their unique perspectives in the form of anecdotal commentary about their role in the suppression of the pestilence. An importance on lore-accurate RP is impressed upon the event, using random chance with partial weight factors to decide whether each person they meet "has the disease". Likely a Research/E-11 focused event.
Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:
A pop-up mechanic shop appears outside the Pinewood Gas Station. Two brothers offer to perform routine maintenance work on any comer's vehicle while also offering upgrades to them for increasingly expensive prices. An emphasis on jovial interaction and the rough vernacular of the working man serve to provide an immersive experience for those that visit.
Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:
Reports of a uncontained KTE has reached the forward operating base within the town of Pinewood. Early reports seem to indicate that the KTE is one of the resident population, and has shown no signs of even recognizing their own paranormal capabilities. Reports gleaned from the local medical outpost is that members of the town reported spending the day prior in the woods with a huntsman who they met while hiking. Neither hiker had a history of physical illness, yet both felt as if they had fallen gravely ill to the point of getting excessive nosebleeds. Reports from the doctor say their hemoglobin levels were abnormally low compared to their last checkup.
Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:
The local terror cell receives valuable intel that the foundation has sent out scouts to look into reports of meteor fragments that recently impacted the woods around Pinewood. According to their reports, this meteorite seems to exhibit properties outside of the known laws of physics both conventional and extraordinary. The potential applications for such a mineral are speculative at worst, revolutionary at best. Irregardless, the Foundation wants it, so they should take it first.
Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:
Various electrical systems in the foundation seem to be experiencing frequent malfunctions over an extended period of time. Originally thought to be an SCP-079 breach, when investigated it is found out to be unresponsive and offline, having been turned off for an undetermined amount of time. Over time, the malfunctions begin to affect door controls, lighting systems, and even the speaker system with bursts of taunting dialogue in the form of glitchy pantomimes of human insults and taunts. The cause unknown, Foundation staff will be forced to investigate their internal servers as well as individual computer systems to track down the source of these disruptions.
Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):
SCP-049 comes into contact with SCP-008 in an unprecedented scenario. Through some form of symbiosis, the Plague Doctor manages to combine his "cure" with the virulent virus, creating a mutated strain of the cure that can spread on its own and without heed of anything short of total pressurization. As the growths spread, those it comes in contact with start to be affected with much less certainty. Some die outright, while others seem to take on a hide similar to pustulous tumors that swarm over their limbs. The time for fighting may be past, and enemies must become allies for survival. If the major players in the Pinewood area don't work together, it is possible that a real XK-Class End of the World scenario may occur.
What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible:
The typical answers are the correct ones. Repeating common low-effort events to the same group of people over and over will consistently lower interest and spawn animosity. The same can be said for taking too much control from the players as well, though too much autonomy and you risk losing control of the narrative. A fine line must be walked to maintain interest just as much as immersion and participation. At the end of the day, you always want to make sure players don't feel stuck in an event out of their own willpower out-of-character.
And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?:
The same thing everyone gets on the server in the first place to do. I like having fun. In my case, creating stories that get shared with friends is my kind of fun. I've been getting on Civil just to do that even back when I was still Director of Research, and continued to do so as O5. I never needed Gamemaster to do my own event-esque RP enhancements, but now that I've seen some of the new techniques possible by gamemasters with the recent update, I've gotten interest to make some creations of my own.
