Why are you applying for Security Captain?
- After playing for 6 ish months I've gained a liking for playing Security. Its a simple division with several things to do and as of now due to the XP requirement I am a Sergeant. I am applying as I wish to do more within the GSD and want to assist with overseeing it as well as leading it.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
- I believe I am suitable for Security Captain as I have several factors I think to be a must for one applying and serving as a Captain. The first of which is Leadership Capability. I have my ways of leading as well as other people have theirs though I think mine to be unique from others. Instead of the standard instructing people to do something and expecting them to do it flawlessly I take time to explain how they should do it and what would end with the highest rate of success. The second factor being able to Hold Under Pressure. One of the many things I expect as a Captain is to be held to the highest degree of maturity and seriousness which I can hold from past experiences and positions. A third more casual factor is simply being respected by people within the community. I think of myself as someone easy to get along with and I think this to be something important for being a Captain as no one wants someone leading them that they don't respect as it creates sort of a wall that is unneeded and prevents people from being fully productive. Something else I'd bring is activity. This is something I see as important for a position such as Captain as someone who doesn't play can't do what is expected of them as a position such as this.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
- Responsibilities of a Security Captain within RP are to demonstrate both leadership and guidance to lower ranking security to help them learn and expand with what they want to do in the GSD. Host tryouts for the 2 licenses earned within the GSD to diversify what security are on the server at times. Create a healthy RP environment within security to make it more appealing to players instead of leaving it as a beginner division for people to abandon once they join something else; and overall have a good demeanor and respect other players.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in: My Security Captain Character's lore would start off with them being transferred from Site-09 to Site-65 as a Cadet. Slowly but surely they gain knowledge of the sites operational functions and layout learning what divisions do what and how they do it. They get promoted to Officer after a few weeks within the GSD but think that they'd be better off in MTF Nu-7. Once achieving this goal they serve as an operative for about a month until they lose interest and return to the GSD after honorably discharging from Nu-7. Eventually they would rise to the rank of Sergeant gaining both their Riot Control License and Heavy Weapons License along the way. After serving as a Sergeant for a while they begin to want to grow more within the GSD and start attempting to rise to the rank of Captain.
