Age: 16
In what country are you located?:US
Time zone: PST
Character name(s): Jack Onion
Civilian name: Kyle Bellinger
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP USA
Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: [Holding] MTF E-11 Sergeant & UNGOC CPL
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: None

Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
-I am applying to be an Executive Researcher so that I can help others aswell as have access to more RP. Firstly, I want to be able to help lower level researchers further than I am able to now. Just like when I started out in research many people helped me along the way, now I want to return the favor to the research department. I also want to help the research department as a whole, not just individual researchers. I want to see the research department grow and see others teaching aswell. I want researchers to be excited about tests and not just do research to sample SCPs/get XP.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I think what makes we suitable for Executive Researcher is mainly my experience as a Senior Researcher and E-11. I have extensive knowledge of every SCP on-site, I know containment procedures, authorization levels, and basically everything there is to know about the onsite SCPs. I also love to learn new things, which I think is a key factor of being a good executive researcher. I believe other traits that I possess that could be invaluable to the Research Department are my dedication and activity. I have been very active and dedicated to the research department since my last application, I have gained over 100 hours from the last time I applied, most of which being on research.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- I have written 4 excellent graded documents and intend to write many more.
I believe what makes a document excellent is the following:
  • Proper Formatting: Excellent documents should be formatted of course depending on what the document is about.
  • Grammar: There should be little to no grammar or spelling errors in excellent documents.
  • Clear Writing: Writing should be straight and to the point while still including plenty of information.
  • Originality: Excellent documents should be about original topics, it can be hard because people have already performed many tests, but its quite important to be original in your idea.
  • Length: The Document should be an appropriate length without being dragged out into oblivion. A document should not be only 2 pages long but should also not be 15 pages long.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
  • Approve/Grade Documents
  • Approve Test Request
  • Oversee tests, making sure they run smoothly and ethically
  • Enforce/follow the CoE and CoC
  • Coordinate with other departments and even GOIs to make breakthroughs
  • Work with other Executives and the Directors of Research to improve the department of Research
  • Most importantly, helping lower ranking researchers with anything they may have questions about.
  • Set an example for other researchers

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Jack Onion was no A student growing up, he was born in rural Virginia and lived a bland life. He would become very interested in biology and biochemistry, leading him to pursue a career in the field. He went to the University of Richmond earning a PHD in biochemistry. Jack Onion would get a job at Amgen and continue his bland life, not reaching his full potential.
On 07/16/████ while on a business trip Northern Egypt Jack Onion would stumble upon something he would have thought impossible at the time. Somewhere in Northern Egypt he would witness SCP-088, a reptilian humanoid creature that would leave secretions wherever it went. It was very odd to Jack Onion, and decided to investigate by carefully taking a small sample, little did he know a Foundation DEA agent saw everything.
After taking the strange liquid to a nearby Amgen lab, where luckily he had a friend, he analyzed the substance and discovered that it was a corrosive and infectious and was unlike anything he had ever seen before. It was a very complex substance that any unexperienced Chemist would not understand. Over the next days Jack Onion would become obsessed with this chemical and the impossible thing that created it, all while still under watch of the DEA.
He would follow the being for sometime and witness something truly impossible, by SCP-088 touching a human they would almost instantly be transformed into something completely different. He would decide not to tell anyone because at the time he thought no one would believe him. Jack Onion would continue researching this creature and that substance that it left behind when finally the foundation decided it was time to step in.
Jack Onion would be captured by Agent █████ and be sub sequentially interrogated. Throughout the interrogation he would convince the Agent that he was trying to help, so he allowed him to with the approval of the ██████ ██████.
Throughout the next months Jack Onion would work alongside foundation researchers to find a way to contain and stop SCP-088. Throughout this process he would earn the respect of his peers and peak the interest of the DoR at the time, ████ ███████. After what seemed like months they had theorized a way to contain SCP-088, by freezing them may be able to put him into a form of "hibernation".
After the successful containment of SCP-088 Jack Onion was left with two choices, be amnesticated and returned to his boring life or join the Foundation as a researcher, he chose the latter. Over the next year he would go onto mentor many and make groundbreaking discoveries to benefit the foundation. He had worked hard as a Senior Researcher and felt that he could better help Site-65 and the foundation as whole as an executive researcher, so he applied, and received the following e-mail just a few days later.
