Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- I wish to fill responsibilities which may need filling, if not simply to better myself in understanding the position I'd have in the facility. As well as being able to use my experiences and background to assist the research department in the server.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- As many have pointed out upon me mentioning it in passing comment, I have a background in scientific research, having an associates in physics and currently a senior in psychology and research sociology. I've, in real life, performed research studies on teenage and college aged individuals, and spent most of it communicating between researchers and subjects about the studies themselves. I've spent most of my time on the server on research, and acclimating myself with the rules and how to properly interact within the rules of the game. Well acquainting myself with the staff over the time I've played, and spent a considerable amount of that time shadowing and training new researchers.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- 1, 19 page document filled with small text and detailed descriptions of test. APA-7 formatting at future citation.
Documents graded excellent prove a valuable resource not only for providing referential material for future researchers to look towards, but also to immerse players and readers into the environment the server sets out to create. An excellent document should provide evidence that the author not only has a fair, if not immense, knowledge they set out to discuss, but also show evidence that the author is capable of creating a work that shows their creative writing skills are unique and outstanding among the rest.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- An Executive Researcher's position is to be a mentor to those who are joining the research team, and even continuing to research seniors and researchers in general. It is the Executive's responsibility to make sure that Juniors, Researchers, and Seniors all understand their position within the facility, and make sure that their staff is performing experiments in a responsible and organized manor. Executives are responsible for making sure researchers communicate properly with Ethics and IA.
It is the job of an Executive to grade and critique documents created by other staff, and help those who author those writings better their writing to more thoroughly fit the standards expected of them, even teach them to go beyond. The Executive shines as an example for other staff to look towards in effort to better understand their position, but also as a role model to aspire to.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jam Ma joined the foundation after graduating from a local community college at only 18, and moving up towards a university as both an undergrad and professor's assistant. During the time he attended schooling and assisting where he could, he participated in the school's psychology program, and was soon approached by the regional branch of the APA for a position in industry psychology after graduation, due to some networking with him and his professor. After initially declining due to the benefits not covering his medication, he was approached by an employment agency only a month before graduation with honors, and decided he might as well take up the first few opportunities. The employment agency promised him a position within a more backwater organization, but the benefits, the agency said, would cover everything. After allowed time to graduated and situate himself, and after realizing his prescription was about to expire and his insurance wouldn't cover his next bottle of Vyvanse, Jam accepted the opportunity. The agent assigned to him, named George, told him about how luxurious the position was, and how it was mainly referred to as "backwater" as to not raise suspicion and eliminate some of the worthless applicants. After accepting and learning a tad bit about his future work as a psychological researcher with the organization, he accepted, to which he was aptly black bagged, had his name and identity erased, and taken to site 65.
Now, he works as a researcher primarily concerned with psychology and how the interactions between everyone works, seeing as this is certainly a new type of environment for someone so sheltered for his entire life.
