What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?: I feel positively floored by the intricate interactions of our !motd, Code of Ethics/Code of Conduct and the myriad specialty documents of the various jobs. The system of dealing with infractions in-character as opposed to admin sits only, is as refreshing as it is thrilling; the Code of Ethics is a living document that is routinely updated- a key component, as !motd rules tend to be changed much more infrequently. Our site has taught me how much I value being a contributing member of a community that I can grow together with, while cultivating organic change upon the system itself.
Our CoE presents the opportunity for all players, from the newest Class-D to the most veteran upper-echelon positions to enjoy the legitimate human decency that this way of thinking inspires. People can know that, even in their worst times of trouble, they can always rely on the concrete protections offered by our empowering Tomes- a fact that fills my heart with song. The weakest and newest among us have protections from being mistreated. I truly wish to protect those in need while facilitating the goals of The Foundation.
Beyond the ink and paper is the greatest asset granted by understanding the totality of the CoE/CoC: a foundation and framework for respecting the feelings of others whom you know nothing about. I want to guide members of the community towards interactions that are conducive to achieving mutual respect and compassion. I have never felt more welcomed, appreciated and genuinely seen as a human being than when I am roaming our halls and sharing insights, resources and guidance to those in need and I wish to take this relationship to the next level. My dedication to following our core commandments brings me great pride and I wish to cultivate this pride in others by extolling the merits of professional decorum and attention to detail. I wish to facilitate others in achieving their goals by guiding them to do so ethically and with care to the feelings of all they come in contact with.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?: To always maintain the virtues and moral compass that our Documents teach, regardless of who is watching. To walk bravely into social interactions where there may be tough feelings and disagreements, never flinching from the duty of patiently sharing knowledge of the guiding rules and arming Foundation Personnel with their very own understanding of their protections and abilities. To obey the Ethics Committee first and foremost, to keep abreast of new changes and to disseminate them quickly and efficiently to those that would listen. To ensure our Ethical standards are upheld and rehabilitation is provided to those that refuse to honor the Documents. No man is to be considered too lost as we are all worthy before the CoE/CoC, even when we err. To do honor to The Foundation's aims to protect humanity while retaining what makes us human in the first place.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in: I've seen many lives thrown to the wolves for the sake of scientific advancement. I've watched so many souls ground into the ravenous research machine and the cold, sterile approach that systemically desensitizes personnel as to trivialize the horror of their own actions. This way leads a dark path, one that I firmly believe would lead to a world that would likely save our species but we would not resemble anything worth saving by that point. The Foundation offers a seat at the precipice of a monumental decision and I will do everything I can to make sure we really are the good guys at the end of it all. I'd rather strive for communal virtue than to burn them all just to save my own skin. My life may be ultimately fleeting but the potential implications for positive impact in the future of The Foundation will echo on long after my name is forgotten. We can be so wonderful if we would only let ourselves. A dark cloud hangs over me, having long ago committed myself fully to my principals, I have eschewed most every interpersonal connection as to have a clear focus on what matters more to me than anything else in the world: the Ethical saving of our communal skins. The constant looming threat of the apocalypse of man's soul manifests itself in my body as heavy bags under my eyes and a deep scowl line between my brows as if constantly furrowed with worry. I see love and compassion as a flame that will spread if tended carefully. I see the consequences of losing our focus over every hilltop, the death that will devour our species in every shadow. There is too much at stake to ever drop the torch. I cannot tolerate much tomfoolery at all, if any on some days. I believe in us so much that I cannot allow us to falter, to resort to primate entertainment in lieu of our noble glories. We *will* be better together. I have to believe it, in my eyes The Foundation is the only way any of us make it out alive.
